Shuffleboard has endured as a popular game for centuries, first showing up during the 1500s across the pond in the taverns and parlors of Great Britain. The original name of the earliest form of shuffleboard was simply “shove a penny,” as that action was the basic gist of the sport.

Game Play Rules
You shoot a yellow disc first to start the game. Play then alternates between black and back to yellow discs. Players can knock their opponent`s discs or their own discs out of the way or further onto the shuffleboard target. After all discs are shot, you tally the score and move to the next round.
A Sjoelbak is the board used for a game of Dutch origin known as Dutch Shuffleboard or Sjoelen. Sjoelen consists of each player being given three chances to slide the disks along the long two metre (6.5 feet) table in an attempt to get them through 4 arches at the other end.
