What does a Kawasaki VIN contain? Each of the 17 characters in a VIN code represents a particular piece of information. For instance, the 10th character shows the model year (“1” means 2001, “B” means 1981 or 2011, etc.). This is one of the simplest bits to reveal.
Every sport ATV has a 17 digit VIN (vehicle identification number), even if you need to search for the ATV VIN location a little. You`ll find the VIN plate mounted to the frame of the ATV, usually on the bottom left side. This information guide will help you with ATV VIN identification.
The Kawasaki VIN number consists of 17 characters. If you look at the code of your bike, you will see that the first characters are JK. The letter J stands for Japan, the country where the engine and the frame were made. The next letter identifies the name of the company, here we have Kawasaki and letter K.
What Year is My ATV by VIN? The 10th character represents the model year. It`s either a letter or a number. For instance, A=2010, B=2011, J=2018, K=2019, L=2020, and P=2023.
Besides the three letters that are not allowed in the VIN itself (I, O and Q), the letters U and Z and the digit 0 are not used for the year code. Note that the year code can be the calendar year in which a vehicle is built, or a model or type year allocated by the manufacturer.
As noted, the vehicle`s year is identified by a letter or number in the 10th position from the left in the VIN. As shown above, the 10th character of the VIN indicates its model year.
It uses three numbers to sum up the size: Tire diameter in inches. Tire width in inches. Wheel diameter in inches.
A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) (also known as a serial number) is a 17 character code of letters and numbers that identifies your vehicle. You can find your VIN in several places: On top of the dashboard on the driver`s side. Inside the driver`s side door.
You will find the VIN stamped on the steering head, below the handlebars.
A VIN is usually composed of:

17 characters including digits and capital letters, that acts as a unique identifier for your car. The VIN number tells you when and where the car was built. It tells you the manufacturer, year, make and model, and the trim level including unique features and specifications.

The model number on a Kawasaki engine is located on a white label with black text, affixed to the side of the engine. The model number (i.e., FX730V), will make up the first part of the “CODE“ field, preceding the engine spec code (i.e., CS16-R).
The River Mark is a symbol of Kawasaki`s ongoing desire to push further forward, to reach even higher, continually striving to attain and surpass the limit.
The recalled engines are model year 2018 through 2022 Kawasaki FT730V EFI series. “Kawasaki FT730V EFI” is printed on the engine air filter cover. The engine model and serial number are located on the engine fan housing.
Kawasaki Engine model and serial numbers are located on a tag attached to the rear of the engine on the engine housing.

What if the puck lands mostly in a higher numbered column but slightly on the line of the lower number before it? Can I score it as a higher value since it is mostly in that number zone?

Help! Just bought a Remington 30 06 for my grandson that has a Bushnell Sportview U4124 4-12power scope mounted on it. I would like to sight it in at 100 yards using a 180 grain shell but I don’t have the owners manual and I don’t understand an on line explanation that I found. This is the on line message: “You’ll see two horizontal crosshairs, put the top one on the animals back then zoom in until the bottom one is on his stomach. Look at the numbers on the zoom dial there should be three lines they are D – deer, E – elk and A – antelope. The numbers are the distance to the game, you then turn the external elevation knob or turret to the matching distance and shoot dead on. No need to hold over for bullet drop. The sad part will be if you didn’t get the other turrets that would have come with it as they are calibrated to different calibers and bullet weights”
I don’t understand how to set the elevation knob to 100yards when its lowest shown number is 150. If I need other turrets how or where can I get them? Thanks, a frustrated grandfather.
ANSWER : You can contact the Remington directly who will ship you a free users manual. Here is the company’s Contact Us details:

I have a Winchester Model 190 with serial number B1302781. This model and serial nubmer does not show up on the Windhester site. Can you tell me when this rifle was manufactured?
ANSWER : The model 290 came out first, in 1965. The 190 came out in 1967. The 290 was made until 1973 and production of the 190 ended in 1980. There were approx. 2,150,000 model 190/290 made through the years.Since yours was made before the middle of the production run, and before 1973, I would guess late 60’s to around 1970 or 1971.

Hope this helps.
