CLEANING THE TABLE: We recommend rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) for cleaning the laminate surface. Non-ammoniated window cleaners are also acceptable. Turn the table and blower ON so that liquid and dirt do not go back into the air holes.
Lubricants
If you want your table to be smooth, it is essential that you use a spray silicone lubricant. This will allow you to enjoy a fast-paced game.
How do you clean an air hockey table? To clean an air hockey table, gently wipe a glass or surface cleaner over the playing surface with a cloth. Be sure to also wipe the pushers and pucks.
CLEAN your table`s hard surfaces (edges and table top) with soap and water. A reusable washcloth soaped up with hot water in the sink, wrung out, and then carried to the table. Another wet washcloth can rinse the table. A final clean washcloth dries the table.
Large puck air hockey tables tend to be more expensive, but this is because they are built to last for years of play, even in a commercial establishment.
Air hockey tables are made of slick surfaces usually made out of plastic. This playing field is surrounded by raised edges that prevent the puck from flying off the table. Each air hockey table is drilled symmetrically with tiny holes across the entire surface, creating an even and frictionless playing field.
While there are several commercial products on the market designed to clean visors, you can also use Dawn dish soap, water and a very soft microfibre cloth. The combination of soap, and alcohol is often all you need for this project. Rinse well and dry with a soft eyeglass or good quality microfibre cloth.

General cleaning recommendations
To keep your Surface looking and working great, use a soft lint-free cloth (microfiber cloths work great) dampened with a little bit of mild soap and water, or screen wipes. Clean every 3-6 months or whenever needed. Important: Don`t apply liquids directly to your Surface.
A diluted solution of warm water with mild dish soap. Or for an even gentler clean, opt for white vinegar – a good ratio to work with one cup of water to three tablespoons of vinegar. Next, clean any dust off the table and chairs by wiping it down with a cloth.
Alternatively, an alcohol-based product (isopropanol alcohol or hydrogen peroxide solution) would work better. If the dirty tables are sticky, use a mild detergent to clean the grime of the tables thoroughly. Avoid using sanitisers on wooden surfaces or varnished surfaces.
The key to cleaning a table pad is just a clean warm dishrag to wipe down the vinyl after use; or if something has dried overnight, a mild solution of dishwashing liquid would be sufficient.
Interaction with the puck is the main mechanic, and therefore there are some very specific rules about how you can and can`t hit it: most notably, you can`t bring your mallet down on the puck to stop it or drag it. This is called “topping”, and constitutes an immediate foul.

The arcade boom in the mid-1980s in the US also led to an increase in the popularity of table games like billiards and air hockey.
Furniture polish, or wax if you have it, will help your hockey puck to glide smoothly during gameplay. It also prevents dust from settling on the surface. Spray the polish onto a cloth and gently wipe the surface of the table.
A typical air hockey table consists of a large smooth playing surface designed to minimize friction, a surrounding rail to prevent the puck and strikers (paddles) from leaving the table, and slots in the rail at either end of the table that serve as goals.
Hockey is a traditional sport that has been played on grass for around 160 years – first on natural grass and, since the 1970s, almost exclusively on artificial grass.
Apply varnish first along the grain of the wood, flowing it on in even strips. Then apply more varnish across the grain to level and even the surface. Varnish, one of the toughest of the finishes, is superior to the other traditional finishes.
Urethane- and polyurethane-based products are the toughest finishes for a kitchen table. Once dry, they can protect against all kinds of spills as well as take a reasonable amount of heat. Polyurethane finishes can last many years without attention.
A coated shower does not need abrasive cleaners to remove hard water marks. Instead, the manufacturers recommended using only white vinegar and a soft sponge to clean coated glass. You can dilute the vinegar, but undiluted vinegar is best to remove hard water marks on a coated shower, when they occur.
You can wash everything except helmets and skates in a warm-water load in your washing machine: chest protector, elbow pads, shin-guards, jock, pants, socks, neck-guard and even the gloves. Depending on the size of your washer and your kids` equipment, you may need to divide the gear into 2 or 3 loads.
Most gloves are suitable for the washing machine, but it`s always a good idea to double-check the specifics of your gloves. Machine wash with activewear detergent. Assuming you can use the washing machine, run the gloves on a long cycle with a detergent specifically designed for activewear.
The cleaning aisle at your local Target, grocery store or hardware store can also be used to help battle the hockey smell. There are multiple deodorizer and antibacterial sprays on the market that work to reduce odor and bacteria. Items such as Clorox wipes, rubbing alcohol, Febreeze, and Lysol all work great.

Poor suction at skimmer box. Cleaned all filters. No change. Pump was damaged. Replaced pump. Still had poor suction. Checked for airleaks by using foam to see if air was being sucked in. Found no leaks.

ANSWER : Hi, W/D here.It is not too likely that there is an air leak under ground. The piping is normally routed in a manner to keep the lines full. I would only suspect such a leak if I were losing water level at a faster than normal rate. It sounds like you’ve checked what I’d have checked, but here’s a few more.General start up: Make sure that you bleed air from the system when you start the equipment. Bleed air off of the discharge of the pump, and off of the filter.1. At the circulation pump, there is a strainer that operates like your skimmer basket. Make sure that it is clean., and that the cap is on tight and sealing.2. Make sure that your valving is in the right position on the suction and discharge lines. If your suction line is selectable (i.e., skimmer or bottom drain), make sure that it is in the desired position. If the suction at the skimmer is low, but the output at the recirculation nozzles is normal, this might be the problem.3. Check for adequate flow at the discharge of the pump.4. Check for proper pressure at the filter. Most filters are equipped with a gauge with indicators chowing normal pressure, and another indicator usually set 10 psi higher to indicate when the filter is becoming plugged.5. If equipped with a heater, check your valving there as well.Well, that’s all that I can think of for now. Hope that this helped a bit!–W/D–

ANSWER : To stop this much rust – go to any hardware store and buy (I forget the exact name) a “paint” called Rust Stop. It will stop the rusting and turn the existing rust into a hard black surface that you can then paint.

I have a Scuba Pro X650a regulator. After having the unit serviced this winter I used it last month for the first time in St. Croix.
The first day of diving went fine. However, as the week progressed I noticed that when taking in a breath the regulator continued to trickle air at a very small rate. While not enough to be concerned about safety at this point it has become an annoyance both from the fact that bubbles continue to trickle past my ears and air usage has increased. This is an intermittent problem.
I had it looked at by 2 certified Scuba Pro Dive shops and they could not find anything wrong with it though one did lower the first stage pressure just to a bit to see if that would work. I also cycled the control lever position for “dive” and “surface” intervals to ensure that there were no sticking problems.
It does appear that the problem is intermittent and that it only occurs when the regulator is under water.
In addition is there a diagram in which I can use to troubleshoot this problem?
NOTE: this version of the X650 was not on the recall list of Scuba Pro.
Any help would be appreciated.

ANSWER : Strangely enough I had the exact same problem with mine.. I’m in the caribbean I love diving and spear gun fishing.. I had one of these a year ago with the same issue I actually wound up increasing the pressure to get it to work.. It wasnt muc use cause my air ran out at a faster rate. Was never able to fix ,, A buddy of mine had the same issue ,, wound up replacing the swivle vale and this helped for a week and then back to the same old .. I then changed to the Aqualung Mikron Regulator had no issues and it works great .. Quite frankly I think we had bad ones here but I’m not sure where you got yours. If you wish you can replace the swivle valve (most likely cause) but I’ll just change the unit and get another..

I have the Intex Sand/Pump pool filter Model SF 20110. It’s been running real great for the last 4 months. However recently it has been tripping the internal overloads and I have found the pump motor to be very hot when I put my hand against it. I have tried several different solutions, such as a level ground platform that was clear of any obstructions, made sure that the motor vents under the motor was clear of anything that would prevent air flow. I used a non electrical type of lubricate on the impeller. When I would turn on the pump the rotor would not turn but only would hum very loudly and then slowly begin to turn. I also noticed that the motor’s rotor shaft would not turn to freely due the tightness around the rotor’s shaft. After using the lubricate the shaft would turn a little easier. I used an amp meter on the incoming voltage line and the motor would run at 4.5 amp. And yet it still overheated and tripped the motor overloads. I can only think that the motor is still not getting enough ventilation. I have check and cleared all the incoming lines and found nothing block the pumps input or output lines. Any suggestion?
ANSWER : I just looking into this issue my self. The pump cools itself by a internal fan, which is run by the motor. Well I took the housing cover off to find out all the fan blades have broken off and were setting in the base of the pump. Once you remove the fan blades from covering the air intake, it might be fine. I will find out my self once summer gets here.

My gun just beeps when i pull the trigger even when hooked up to hpa.battery is new.last time i used the gun just before it messed up i had it hooked to o2 and it would fire then beep ,i have a anti syphon tube installed to. the air shot out the asa instead of the reg when i took off the tank.usually gun holds air with tank off then you shoot it to get rid of stored air,this time it shot out the asa????
ANSWER : You have probably messed up your solenoid, did you fire the marker straight up with the o2? I would make sure that all of the board settings are back to factory default especially the dwell and reattempt with compressed air. If the marker is still not firing get your hands on a new solenoid for it.

I have purchased three 750-watt power inverters in the last three weeks. They have all failed to work on the second or third use. The first two were the same brand. I replaced an old one that ran for several years. I am using it to run a 4.7 amp 120-volt vacuum cleaner motor that pumps up my air dock. I have it connected directly with marine cable to one of the boat batteries. The battery outputs about 12.8 volts DC. The fuses don?t blow, just No Output. I am using a three-wire 120-volt extension cord and am, wired neutral, hot and ground to the AC motor vial an on/off switch. The motor works fine when I run house power with an extension cord from the dock next to me. Could I be, just unlucky with new inverters and need to buy a forth one?
ANSWER : The problem may be that the inverter is undersized for the load. Is the 4.7 Amp rating the motor peak draw or the nominal one. What I mean is that it takes many times more power to start start the motor than when the motor is running. Typically it is 3 to 7 times more amps to start the motor than when it is running. It could be that starting the vacumm cleaner is stressing the inverter and it is causing it to fail prematurely. If you can find out the locked rotor current draw of the motor, the that would be the mininum size of the inverter.
Also, the type of inverter will make a difference on how the motor operates. A modified sine wave will make the motor run hotter than a pure sine wave inverter. Hope this helps.
