We have a Kawasaki 1100 zxi jet ski, hasn’t been used in a few years, and we forgot if there is a particular type of gas, i.e., regular, unleaded, super. Does anyone know what type of gas we should use? I can’t seem to find it in the manual.

Regular or unleaded are fine if it is a four stroke engine but if it is a two stroke engine you will need to fill an oil tank also with two stroke oil, or you may have to mix it in a can , see manufacturer for mix ratio.

Mule 610 will not start. Was running fine, plowing snow and it starting acting like it was running out of gas and stalled. Put gas in put it won’t start and acts like it is not getting gas. Could the gas line have frozen due to the depth of the snow?

ANSWER : The 2 longest of the poles go in an x over the center of the tent and the 2 shorter ones go arch to the sides. http://www.wenzelco.com/details.aspx?NavID=412shows a picture very similar to your tent. If you go to image 2 it shows it with out the fly. now if you got 2 sets of 4 poles, 2 long and 2 short, and one set is all aluminum, then I would go with the aluminum set. It is less likely to collapse in high winds.

I have had two small Coleman ‘Frontier PZ’ propane lanterns for a number of years with no problems. Last year one of them started shutting down for no apparent reason – it would light normally, burn for 4 – 5 minutes and then go out. This summer the second lantern has started doing the same thing. Changing gas cylinders seems to have no effect, nor does a new mantle fix the problem. It’s hard to be certain but as I can’t hear any gas hissing it’s as if the jet gets blocked after a few minutes alight. Turn off the gas, leave the lantern alone for a while and it will relight ok, though it will still only burn for a few minutes before going out again. Any ideas?
ANSWER : There is something in the jets or the piping to the mantels, you my find spider webing there, if you did no cap the port where the tank goes some small friends might have wanted to go camping with you.

Snow blower 1 year old, was using it ran out of gas , put in new gas, went to start, it ran for few seconds then dies,, prime it it runs few seconds dies, has NEW gas ans new plug, only runs for seconds after you prime it tons of times
ANSWER : If it has a fuel filter on it change it and that should get you going again. If not the dirt that was in the tank is prob in the carb cleaning the fuel bowl and jets should get you up to par. Hope that helps

I HAVE A YORK STELLAR PLUS,MODEL PEUDD12N09501C 15 YEARS OLD. THE AIR INDUCTION MOTOR RUNS FOREVER. THE AIR INDUCTION MOTOR COMES ON , THE THE THERMOSTAT CALLS FOR GAS, THE IGNITOR LIGHTS THE GAS, FURNACE HEATS UP AND THEN THE LIMITER SHUTS OFF THE GAS BEFORE THE BLOWER COMES ON AND THEN THE AIR INDUCTION MOTOR RUNS, AND RUNS TILL THE DUCT WORK IS VIBRATING. THEN OTHER TIME THE FURNACE WORKS RIGHT THROUGH THE HEAT CYCLE JUST LIKE IT WAS DESIGNED TO.
ANSWER : This flame is not likely going off on a high limit due to clogged filters as suggested previously because the unit goes off on safety before the blower comes on. If it works sometimes and not others it is most likely a flame sense issue or an electronic problem. If the boards logic tells the inducer to keep running if it thinks the flame is lost this may be your clue. You can attempt to find the red LED trouble light on the circuit board(or in burner compartment) and this may tell you exactly what the problem is but you may need to tape the door interlock switch so you don’t loose the code when you open the blower compartment. You can clean flame sensor with very fine sandpaper or steel wool but replacement is usually the best.
