What should I use? At Fitness Warehouse we recommend using silicone oil from The Gym and Treadmill Surgeon. Silicone oil is compatible with many, if not all of the major treadmill brands. It is suitable for all treadmill models sold within the Fitness Warehouse product universe.
You want to keep your machine well-oiled and gliding smoothly for a functional and pleasant workout experience… no squeaks and creaks. Identify metal-to-metal connection points and apply WD-40 Specialist Silicone lubricant and use WD-40 Specialist White Lithium Grease on the areas with wheels and tracks.
Once the treadmill belt is loosened, lift it up slightly and put your hand under it. If the inner surface is dry, with no apparent coating of oil, it`s time to lubricate. On the other hand, if you remove your hand to discover it has some oil on it, there`s no need to lubricate.
Can you run on the TreadClimber? No, the TreadClimber is not designed for running. It is designed to provide an extremely effective workout while walking.
Treadmill – While both can be utilized for great walking workouts, the TreadClimber will limit any advancement on speed or progression of intensity. The TreadClimber will be a low impact long term workout solution for those who do not wish to run and do not want to increase overall intensity.
They say that it`s not meant to be used for running, that the speed doesn`t get up that high.
You`ll need to purchase 100-percent silicone lubricants. Non-silicone lubricants such as WD40 contain additives that could potentially damage the belt. Fasulo advises getting a bottle with an extendable nozzle, such as Spot On Treadmill Lubricant or Godora Treadmill Lubricant.
Treadmills have specific lubricants made of either silicon or Teflon. Both can be used to grease up your treadmill belt to prevent wear and tear over time. The main difference? Silicone lubricants often come in oil form, whereas Teflon lubricant is more like an ointment.
LIQUID WRENCH Silicone Spray Lubricant can provide a super slippery coating for plastic surfaces like treadmill decks. We only recommending using silicone spray after contacting the manufacturer and confirming that your specific model can use a general purpose silicone lubricant.
Look in the manufacturer`s instruction manual (hard copy or online) for how loosen the treadmill belt so you can lift it and apply the lubricant. Use WD-40 Specialist Silicone or the manufacturer recommended lubricant and spray underneath the belt as you lift, repeating the process on both sides of the machine.
Proper belt lubrication will help keep you treadmill in optimum condition and reduce needed repairs over time. We recommend you lubricate your treadmill once every three month using one ounce of lube per each application.

Calibration
Re-calibrate machine. (See Calibration Procedures, Pg 26)
SPEED
SENSOR
1. Cycle power off and on
2. Put the machine in calibration mode (see Calibration
procedures, Pg 26) but do not start the calibration routine.
3. Remove right rear base plastic cover to allow access to
LED board. Caution: Machine is on. Current is active!!
4. Locate LED D on the motor controller board. LED may
be lit or unlit.
5. Manually advance the treadle with your foot, and check
if LED D is blinking.
6. If LED D is not blinking, then the speed sensor is not sup

plying a signal. Check that the speed sensor is connected
securely to P1 on the motor controller. If sensor is con

nected and LED D still does not flash replace sensor.
I/O cables
If LED D is flashing when the belts are turning but err LS
or OS persists, check for signs of visible damage to any of
the three I/O calbes and connections. If no visible damage
check continuity using a multi-meter. If a multi-meter is
not available replace all three cables.
Electronics
If all I/O cables are functioning properly, LED D indicates
speed sensor is functioning, and err LS or OS persists
problem is in either the upper electronics board or the
motor controller board. With machine on check LED A
on the controller board. If it is dimly lit replace upper
electronics (000-4430). If it is not lit at all replace motor
controller.
