Disconnect the fresh water supply line and lift toilet straight up. For Aqua-Magic IV, disconnect the water supply line from the water valve located on the rear of the toilet. Remove the nuts from the closet flange bolts located on each side of the toilet. Carefully lift and remove the toilet from the closet flange.
Can you Empty a Caravan Toilet at Home? Yes, you can absolutely empty your caravan toilet cassette at home. The contents are no different to what usually gets flushed down your toilet, with the addition of a little Napisan or toilet chemical.
Using the data sticker to identify your Thetford toilet model. If you are not sure which model toilet you have, you will find a data sticker attached to the base of the toilet beneath the waste holding tank. The model number will be printed at the beginning above the barcode – as shown below.

Toilet chemical suppliers generally recommend using `quick dissolve` toilet paper with your unit. If your family uses a significant amount of paper, this might be a good idea, but in most cases, standard toilet paper will be fine and will almost certainly be cheaper.
We recommend emptying your toilet cassette every 1 to 2 days. This must only be done at an authorized dump station which are found in most holiday parks.
How long your cassette toilet will last depends on the size you go for, and how many people there are using it. We have a 21L model that lasts for roughly 50-60 flushes, which works out as about four days.
A toilet handle is attached to a lift arm inside of the toilet tank. A chain connects that arm to the flush valve or toilet flapper. Unhook the toilet chain from the arm, noting which hole the clasp is fastened into.
How Do You Flush the Toilet if the Handle is Broken? If you are in a bind and the plumber is not coming by until later, you can still flush your toilet if your handle is missing or broken. All you need to do is lift the flapper to release water into the bowl to flush the toilet.
What is the difference between Aqua Kem Blue (AKB) and Aqua Kem Green (AKG)? The purpose of both additives is the same, but the Aqua Kem Green is more environmentally conscious. Aqua Kem Green is a toilet fluid with biological action and can be safely emptied into a septic tank (Test ISO 11734).
The cassette toilet and portable toilets (Porta Potties) aren`t the same thing. The difference is the cassette toilet is permanently attached to the RV or boat. However, both toilet systems have a portable waste tank that can be removed for dumping.
You can find various products for cleaning the toilet bowl and the cassette. Or if you`d prefer a DIY product, try citric acid, chlorine and cleaning vinegar. After cleaning, spray silicone spray on the rubber parts to prevent the rubber from drying and tearing.
Most regular toilets and all cassette camping toilets smell because they mix liquids and solids together. This problem is normally fixed by flushing quickly (at home) or by adding chemicals (for cassette toilets).
Thetford Aqua-Soft is a specially developed super-soft toilet paper that quickly dissolves in your waste-holding tank. This prevents clogging and makes the waste-holding tank easier to empty. Ordinary toilet paper doesn`t break down so easily and can cause blockages.
Can Toilet Paper Break Down Eventually? In most scenarios, water dissolves paper over time. After all, it`s designed to break down in the water. In other words, if you tried to flush the toilet and didn`t succeed, you can always wait around 15 minutes to try flushing again.
A sewer gas smell in the bathroom can be caused by:
evaporation of water in the P-trap piping. broken seal around the toilet in the wax ring or the caulk. A burst pipe. tree`s roots have grown into or have caused damage to your sewer pipes.
Once your water system has been thoroughly sterilised, tap water will be safe to drink, but this is a personal preference. If you use a separate tank for drinking water, it`s equally as important that this is cleaned properly, too.

Every time you flush, toilet tanks are supposed to refill with water. The water level should be about a half inch below the overflow tube and take around 10 seconds to refill.
Two stereo pairs of tracks (four total) are available on a cassette tape; the first stereo pair is played or recorded when the tape is moving in one direction and the other pair when moving in the opposite direction. So a standard 60 minute tape can contain up to 30 minutes of recorded material on each side.
Depending on the brand of bowl cleaner you`re using, this project should take only about 15 to 20 minutes. Some cleansers` instructions recommend letting the solution sit for up to 10 minutes, but you can work on wiping down the exterior parts of the toilet while you let the disinfectant do its job.

I own a 1998, 25hp Mercury short shaft tiller outboard engine. It is on a 15′-10″ Mirrow Craft semi V aluminum flat bottom boat. When I am running it, the steering handle pulls to the left making the boat turn right. I have to concentrate on keeping the handle steady when the motor is at full throttle. If I would let up the tension with my arm the motor pulls the boat to the right. I need to balance the motor so it runs without steering tension. How do I adjust it?
ANSWER : You have a tiller tab on the foot of your outboard, It has a mark on it, and should be cocked to one side, take note of the mark, and turn it one way or another, just keep notes on what you do, then try it. See what happens, you should be able to compensate for the over steer by moving this tab. Hope this helps.

I have the Intex Sand/Pump pool filter Model SF 20110. It’s been running real great for the last 4 months. However recently it has been tripping the internal overloads and I have found the pump motor to be very hot when I put my hand against it. I have tried several different solutions, such as a level ground platform that was clear of any obstructions, made sure that the motor vents under the motor was clear of anything that would prevent air flow. I used a non electrical type of lubricate on the impeller. When I would turn on the pump the rotor would not turn but only would hum very loudly and then slowly begin to turn. I also noticed that the motor’s rotor shaft would not turn to freely due the tightness around the rotor’s shaft. After using the lubricate the shaft would turn a little easier. I used an amp meter on the incoming voltage line and the motor would run at 4.5 amp. And yet it still overheated and tripped the motor overloads. I can only think that the motor is still not getting enough ventilation. I have check and cleared all the incoming lines and found nothing block the pumps input or output lines. Any suggestion?
ANSWER : I just looking into this issue my self. The pump cools itself by a internal fan, which is run by the motor. Well I took the housing cover off to find out all the fan blades have broken off and were setting in the base of the pump. Once you remove the fan blades from covering the air intake, it might be fine. I will find out my self once summer gets here.

I bought a Nordic Track Walk Fit manual treadmill at a garage sale. It is missing the belt that goes around the ‘pulley wheel’ at the side. I thought it would be a matter of going to the Nordic Track website, but nothing comes up on their site when I enter the Walk Fit name. Where can I get a belt for this machine? The model number has been torn off but the date it was made was January 1995.
