How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

Usual cause of non flushing C250 / 260 is the impeller is jammed by black gunge. Black gunge is caused by using pink fluid in the flush tank and not draining. Fix is to remove the impeller / clean the impeller / drain the tank a couple of times by flushing (drain tube is too small for gunge to get out).
If you have a toilet that doesn`t fully flush, common causes include a clog in the trap, a worn-out flapper, blocked rim jets, a faulty float, or an issue with the handle and chain.
Flushing system:Electric flush. Flush water tank volume: 15L. Waste-holding tank volume: 19.3L.
Waste-holding cassette with integrated wheels and with easy pull-out handle. Extra volume waste holding tank (17.5 litres) Flush water tank capacity 8L.
Cassette toilets differ on their flushing method. Some of the fancier cassette toilets will have a button you press to flush, but others will have a manual flusher. For a manual flush, pull the handle to open the hole that allows the waste to go into the black holding tank.
The Thetford C250 Toilet Reed Switch is a single one switch circuit board waste tank level indicator. This clever device switches on a light when the waste level is high in your cassette toilet, which is when the tank needs emptying.
Standard toilets us approximately 7 gallons per flush, while the regular low-flow toilet model uses 1.6 gallons per flush. (Some models are even more efficient.) This means an automatic reduction in you water bills each month, and over a full year the savings can add up to be tremendous.
The toilet

A dual flush cistern uses 3 litres for a half flush and 6 litres for a full flush. A single flush cistern uses 9 to 11 litres per flush.

We have had the same issue, the fuse is behind the cassette which you need to remove to gain access, if this fuse is intact it could be the 5 amp fuse in the electric box, this blew when we had a water pump issue and both the flush and water pump went off. Hope you get it fixed.

I have a Scuba Pro X650a regulator. After having the unit serviced this winter I used it last month for the first time in St. Croix.

The first day of diving went fine. However, as the week progressed I noticed that when taking in a breath the regulator continued to trickle air at a very small rate. While not enough to be concerned about safety at this point it has become an annoyance both from the fact that bubbles continue to trickle past my ears and air usage has increased. This is an intermittent problem.

I had it looked at by 2 certified Scuba Pro Dive shops and they could not find anything wrong with it though one did lower the first stage pressure just to a bit to see if that would work. I also cycled the control lever position for “dive” and “surface” intervals to ensure that there were no sticking problems.

It does appear that the problem is intermittent and that it only occurs when the regulator is under water.

In addition is there a diagram in which I can use to troubleshoot this problem?

NOTE: this version of the X650 was not on the recall list of Scuba Pro.

Any help would be appreciated.

Stephen

ANSWER : Strangely enough I had the exact same problem with mine.. I’m in the caribbean I love diving and spear gun fishing.. I had one of these a year ago with the same issue I actually wound up increasing the pressure to get it to work.. It wasnt muc use cause my air ran out at a faster rate. Was never able to fix ,, A buddy of mine had the same issue ,, wound up replacing the swivle vale and this helped for a week and then back to the same old .. I then changed to the Aqualung Mikron Regulator had no issues and it works great .. Quite frankly I think we had bad ones here but I’m not sure where you got yours. If you wish you can replace the swivle valve (most likely cause) but I’ll just change the unit and get another..

I have Detroit 60 series installed on a launch. Recently the Starboard unit suffers a catastrophic failure and piston No2 came out of the block, making a big hole. This engines are using heat exchangers, and sea water cooled Charge Air Coolers and sea water self priming raw water pump. We contact the local dealer an the veredict was a “Massive salt water ingestion” that caused an Hydraulic lock and damaged cyls 6 and 2. They say that the water came from the deck covers, but there is no way for that to happen, I think they dont want to honor any warranty, because we suspect that the water came from the Charge Air Cooler. I want to know if the CAC can cause that type of failures and if anyone had a similar problem. The engine cost is about 66K and only had 2300 hours.
ANSWER : I would have to say that a sleeve got pitted or lost an oring or the CAC sprung a leak. I believe you are correct in your assumption that the water did not enter the unit in the manner they are saying. The only real way to tell is a complete tear down and someone is going to have to pay. They are also a high maintenance item and someone is going to say that the preventive maintenance was not done.

I have a volvo penta md7a marine diesel engine fitted in my sailing boat. Recently, I changed the bottom sea **** which was almost blocked. Apparently the new sea **** is working well as it should. But this week with no apparent reason and without use of engine, I noticed that the cooling system water cup (the recipient which connects with the sea **** hose and the water pump hose) is empty and it Im not able to keep it full like it was before. The water vanishes every time I tried to fill it up in order to keep the water running throught the system. However the waterpump seems to be working. But almost no water is coming out of the exhaustor, of course, just a few drops once in a while. What might be going on ?? Thanks.
ANSWER : I don’t have a picture of the installation, but I can imagine a water filter above the water line with an improperly fitted cover and an air leak that lets the seawater drain out – losing the prime. Old Swampy in New Hampshire

I have a York Stellar model mid efficiency furnace Model # P?UCD12N07601A, Serial # EXAM3600524 installed in 1992. The HSI was replaced approximately 3 months ago. Over the last two weeks the ventor motor comes on, the HSI lights but does not ignite the gas. The ventor motor runns continously and the HSI continues to turn off and on without gas ignition. Some times by turning the ventor motor off and on (by opening and closing the bottom furnace faces panel door) will give be ignition after the HSI goes through 1-4 cycles. If I can’t get it to work I call my furnace repair guy. The serviceman thought it was the pressure switch and ordered one. Just this last weekend I had no heat and another service guy came in replaced the HSI again and adjusted the pressure switch and said this fix should work. Less than a day later furnace still experiencing the same problem-Ventor motor comes on, HSI comes on but no gas ignition. ventor motor runs continuously and the temperature in the house drops! I’m frustrated and the servicemen don’t seem to know how to fix the problem for good.
ANSWER : Make sure the vent pipes that exhaust the fumes are not blocked in any way and also check the drain line to be sure it is not kinked from the vent motor to the trap. Take the hoses off the vent motor and the pressure switch and make sure all the hoses are clean and free from debris also check the trap on the drain hose and make sure it has water in it if it doesn’t this will creat a negative pressure in the vent motor housing not allowing the vent pressure switch to make.

We have a 1994 HiLo FunLight camp trailer. The water pump does not come on when attempting to use the water.
The tank is full of water, the battery is fully charged, the trailer is connected to power. Any suggestions? Where is the fuse located? Where is the SureFlo Water Pump located in this trailer?
Thank you very much. Chuck Stafford
ANSWER : THi-Lo Trailer500 South Main StreetPO BOX 577Bellville, OH 44813Local: 419-886-0066This is a link that may or may not help you:. If there is a fuse or a breaker for the pump, it would more than likely be on the DC panel. The pump could be located in a variety of different places but would probably be under a sink, around or on top of water tank, or in storage under the bed, access being either by removing matteress and a panel hidden by matress or, by removing a drawer in the base of the bunks lower structure. You probably have a pressure valve in the line somewhere near your water inlet connection, you may want to check that and, the pump might be in thta area also.
