How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

Once the game commences the wall mounted screen identifies who should be playing and where on the board they need to be aiming for. All you have to do is throw. The system instantly detects where the dart has landed and this is animated onto the screen using video-game style graphics.
Electronic Dartboard Operation

Press the POWER or switch to ON position (|) to activate dartboard. A short musical introduction is played as the display goes through power-up test. 2. Press GAME button until desired game is displayed.

Dart board height is measured 1.73m from the floor to the centre of the bullseye. Distance from the oche (throw line) to the front of the dart board is 2.37m (2.43m for electronic dart boards). To mark the oche you can use an Oche Sticker, Lazor Oche or a piece of tape.
Interactive darts system consists of a standard board which is linked to a separate wall mounted screen. The AR system has the board sitting in a cut out within a bespoke screen. The game graphics are projected onto the board and screen so you can see your target segment illuminated onto the board.
In Gotcha the dart game, the goal is to reach a predetermined score without going over it, almost like a reverse game of 501 or a harder version of count up. Any number works, so if you like games of 01, the numbers 301 and 501 work well, or even numbers like 200 and 400 can be used.
Compete continuously and take part in at least 30 games of 501 in ADL`s open division each year. Maintain your scores above the standard, which means an average score of 17.5 points per dart if you`re a man and 12.0 points if you`re a woman. Respect ADA`s code of conduct and ethics at all times while competing.
Most modern dart boards are made from Sisal. Sisal dartboards should never be exposed to water or moisture. Not one component of your dartboard will benefit from getting wet. The sisal will absorb the moisture unevenly and cause your dartboard to look like a mountain range.
Perhaps the easiest and most underutilized way to extend the life of your sisal dartboard is to simply rotate it, and rotate it often. If you`re playing on your dart board a couple of hours every day, we recommend you rotate it at least once a week.
The numbers on a dartboard are ordered in such a way to increase the need for skill and remove chance from the game. Higher numbers are placed beside lower numbers on the board so the penalty for missing a dart is higher.
It`s somewhat easy to predict the outright winner of a darts match, once you become familiar with a player`s past performances or current form. Figuring out the exact score of the match is far more complicated and therefore comes with better value.
Curved Darts

Draw the curves, but before cutting, add a notch or two along the curved line. Notice that even in this case you re-center the dart points, but instead of dart allowance, you just add normal seam allowance to make it easier to sew the curved darts.

The dart game of Sudden Death is played in a series of rounds. Each player gets to throw three darts per round to determine their score for that round. Once everyone has gone, whoever has the lowest score for that round is eliminated and is out for the rest of the game.
The Object: The game play starts with a score of 301, 401, 501, 601 or 1001. The object is to get to exactly zero by throwing rounds of three darts and subtracting the sum of those darts from your current score.
The upper arm is twisting to let this happen, so it also affects up/down on your darts. If your darts go down and right, your elbow is moving out and away from your body. This is also referred to as chicken-wing. If your darts go up and left, your elbow is moving in and toward your body.
NOTE: Depending on the fabric, sometimes it`s helpful to press the dart before sewing to help maintain its shape. However, if the dart is curved, it`s best to simply mark the curve and sew on the line.
A pressing ham (also known as a tailor`s ham or a dressmaker`s ham – the name derives from the shape) is an oblong object with a nose that is narrower than the seat. It allows you to press items without flattening them. For instance, when sewing a dart into a garment, we are creating shape that contours to the body.
Fisheye darts, also known as double pointed darts have two dart tips that point to fullness and are used in a variety of garments to help shape the waistline. Let me show you how it`s done. Start by transferring the dart markings from the pattern piece to the wrong side of your fabric.
Pinch the end of the dart between your fingers (for stability) and pull away from the needle. Cut the threads at least three inches long and tie in a knot close to the end of the dart. Trim close to the knot.
When the target is 501, the minimum number of darts needed to reach it is nine. For example, one way to achieve a nine-dart finish is to score 60 (triple 20) on each of the first seven throws, then a 57 (triple 19) on the eighth, and lastly a 24 (double 12) on the ninth.
The 19 segment is bordered on the left by the sevens and on the right by the threes, meaning that stray darts have a less severe impact on a player`s score than they would for darts at treble 17 or 18, where scores of one and two by individual darts are commonplace.
Darts can be played by anyone, it is easy to set up, simple to learn, has a low cost to entry and is fun to watch, all adding to its popularity. As a result, darts is now played professionally in arenas packed with thousands of spectators and hundreds of thousands more watching from home on live television.
There is a camera around the dart board. The dart board takes pictures to determine the location of the dart landing. The camera passes the image sensor and uploads the image to the host.
Most modern dartboards are made of sisal fibers. There are other materials such as cork, paper, wood, and plastic being used, each serving a different purpose.
Dartboards are made up of compressed sisal fibers glued to a backing board held together by an outer metal band. The main advantage of this type of construction is that when you remove a dart from the board, the hole will heal behind it.

I have a multifunction sports watch that i bought from Big W, (no brand name)

By accident i set the watch to 24 hour time, originally it was set to 12 hour time, how do i set it back? ive tried every button combo including the button combo i used when i accidently set it on 24 hour time, the instructions only say how to set the time and date, it doesnt say how to toggle between 12 hour and 24 hour time, is there a generic way to toggle it on sparts watches? btw, holding the mode button in does nothing on my watch, no matter how long i hold it in for

ANSWER : Hi. How may buttons do you have, 3 or 4 buttons?if you have the 4 buttons, try this:You need to go through the time and date settings again. The 24 and 12hr format select is at the end of time/date adjustment. To set the time and date:-press the top-left button then right-top button to set the seconds, press bottom-left button to set hour then press top-right button to adjust hour, press bottom-left button to set the minute then press top-right button to adjust minute. To set date, press the bottom-left button then press top-right button to adjust month, press bottom-left button then top-right button to adjust day and finally press bottom-left button to set the time format then press top-right button to select 12hour format. Press top-left button when done.Since you have a generic sports watch, it is hard to write specific instructions to set the time format. If your watch has different ways of setting the time, just remember that the 12/24hour format is usually at the end of time and date adjustment.Let me know if you have questions. Good luck.

Turns on when I depress the on and off butto, but turns off as soon as I take my finger off of the on/off button
ANSWER : It sounds like you could have a bad cuircit panel, but definitely try Brand New Batteries, even check them to make sure they have a good charge. Bad Batteries is the #1 cause of detectors not working properly. If this is not the problem than you should contact the factory (First Texas Products) about repairing it. If it is less than 5 years old they will repair it for FREE, even if you are not sure how old it is they have no serial numbers on their products so they can not tell how old they are so they will still repair it for free if you tell them it is less than 5 yrs old. Call them first before sending it in, 915-633-8354

Trying to install a new fluro light, pull out old light to find 3 reds and 3 blacks 1 copper earth. What do I do to connect it up the right way??? When I pulled the old Fluro light out the 3 Reds were joined together with a connector ,two blacks were joined to one end of light wire, the other to the other end of the light wire, earth wire to the light case, the third black wire was connected to the wire from the ballast? Does this all make sense
ANSWER : No, this does not make sense but I have seen strange wiring before. There is power going from the light someplace else. Just connect it back up exactly as the old light was connected. It worked before so it will work again. If it works it is wired correctly. Without being there to check which wire was the hot wire and which was neutral it is impossible for me to say what is what. Make sure you connect the ground wire to the light chassis.

Hi, my tiger river spa does not heat. Filters are clean, jets work, no light installed. On ciruit board, green light for “Lim” , red light for heat, no other lights. Just bought house one month ago, no manuals.
Spa is a Bengal. Have noticed a symbol (can’t tell what it is) on the screen then most of screen goes blank with just the power light on. Is there a vacation mode or something like that?
Thanks for your help.
ANSWER : Spa’s are such that so many components can become faulty when left unattended to over a period of time. But most likely what your unit needs is just a regular service to clean up its systems and also ensure there are no leakages in the pipes. Bengal is a wonderful and durable product. The problem could range from low power supply to wires being eaten up by rats and other pests. Also it could be burnt out heaters thereby the inability to produce heat. The indicator on the screen could mean various things but the screen going blank usually would be caused by poor power supply. If you dont have the technical know how refer an expert to check it out and ensure the exact problem of the above mentioned is wrong with it before repairs can be carried out.Hope this solution has been helpful?

I have the Intex Sand/Pump pool filter Model SF 20110. It’s been running real great for the last 4 months. However recently it has been tripping the internal overloads and I have found the pump motor to be very hot when I put my hand against it. I have tried several different solutions, such as a level ground platform that was clear of any obstructions, made sure that the motor vents under the motor was clear of anything that would prevent air flow. I used a non electrical type of lubricate on the impeller. When I would turn on the pump the rotor would not turn but only would hum very loudly and then slowly begin to turn. I also noticed that the motor’s rotor shaft would not turn to freely due the tightness around the rotor’s shaft. After using the lubricate the shaft would turn a little easier. I used an amp meter on the incoming voltage line and the motor would run at 4.5 amp. And yet it still overheated and tripped the motor overloads. I can only think that the motor is still not getting enough ventilation. I have check and cleared all the incoming lines and found nothing block the pumps input or output lines. Any suggestion?
ANSWER : I just looking into this issue my self. The pump cools itself by a internal fan, which is run by the motor. Well I took the housing cover off to find out all the fan blades have broken off and were setting in the base of the pump. Once you remove the fan blades from covering the air intake, it might be fine. I will find out my self once summer gets here.
