If the battery is failing to hold a charge after being plugged in for 12 hours (full charge time), it could be due to a leak coming from the battery. It might be necessary to clean the contact and threads on the inside of the lantern in order for the battery to hold a charge again.
You`ll know it`s fully charged when the LED indicator turns green. Once charged, this lantern shines 400 bright lumens more than 12 meters on its high setting. With a runtime of up to 4 hours on high and 20 hours on low, the sun will come up long before you need to recharge.
Usually a poorly burning lantern or stove will be from not enough fuel or not enough air. If your appliance is not getting the proper amount of fuel, it just won`t get as bright or as hot as it should. If it is starving from air it will not burn hot or bright and often times appear yellow.
If the indicator light does not work, check the battery in your charger. It is common to replace dead batteries consistently as an easy solution to this problem. If you checked the fuse in your charger but the indicator is not turning on, then check the circuit board.
If recharging the battery doesn`t work, try a new battery. It`s possible the battery is defective, and a new battery will fix the issue. If your flashlight has a tail switch and cap, it`s possible that the switch is loose. Try tightening the tail switch very snugly to see if it fixes this issue.
When using on battery power and the light starts to dim, this indicates that the internal battery needs to be recharged. The RED charging indicator in the back will turn off when the lamp is fully charged.
After using the bulb during power outage it is recommended to charge it for up to 4-6 hours depending on how long the bulb was used during outage. The bulb charges on AC power during normal operation when turned ON. So using the bulb a minimum of 2 hours every week is recommended.
With a runtime of up to 5 hours on high and 20 hours on low, the sun will come up long before you need to recharge. The LED lasts a lifetime, so it never needs replacing and it runs cool so it`s always safe to touch, even when it`s been on for hours.
It is battery powered and can be taken and used in a variety of locations. On the high setting it runs for as long as 15 hours, and it can last up to 100 hours on the low setting.
Battery Life

Many lanterns will give you five to ten hours on high, with longer times in the lower settings. It pays to carry extra batteries on your trip if your lantern uses disposable batteries. If you have a rechargeable battery, bring along a portable battery or solar charger to top off your lanterns between uses.

Storing one with fuel in it is often times a good idea. Use caution in where you store it, and don`t leave it pressurized. When you put it away for just-in-case storage, de-pressurize and snug down the filler cap just enough to keep the fuel inside should it get knocked over.
Product details. Take the Coleman Carabineer Classic Personal Size Water-Resistant 400 Lumens LED Lantern, Red anywhere you need extra light. This lantern shines 400 lumens up to 12 meters on its high setting.
Basically, the light indicates a battery charging problem. If the light comes on and stays on while driving, this means that your alternator is running solely on energy stored in the battery. If you continue driving, your battery will eventually drain and your vehicle will stop working.
Charging the battery up periodically or with regular use will not damage the life of the battery much but if you are constantly keeping it full without much use, it can begin to shorten the battery`s life.
Battery life depends on the design and the brightness that you set the lamp at. Most range between 10 and 24 hours of use. If you turn the brightness down, it can extend the battery life of some lamps.
They work like regular bulbs when the power supply is available, during which time they also recharge while the switch is on. Once the power cuts, they stay on, using the rechargeable battery in the bulb itself. Depending on the bulb, they can last two to eight hours.
Charging Time: 7 to 9 hrs for full charge for 1st use.
Don`t leave your fan running overnight or while you are out of the house. Once you`ve had your electric fan for a few years, think about replacing it as older motors can overheat. Don`t balance the fan on the edge of the counter, or anywhere that it could fall off.
Avoid storing, using or charging batteries at very high or low temperatures. Protect batteries against being damaged – that`s crushed, punctured or immersed in water. Don`t leave items continuously on charge after the charge cycle is complete – it`s best not to leave your phone plugged in overnight for example.
The lamp needs to be charged for 5-6 hours in order for it to last the entire 4 hours during a power failure.
Leaving the battery on charge You can leave a battery/radio in the charger once charging is complete. Leaving a battery in the charger will not overcharge or damage it. You can remove a battery/radio from the charger at any time without harming the battery, the radio, or the charger.
Normal recharging time for maximum capacity is approximately 16-20 hours. If the battery runs completely flat, charge for 48 hours. Switch the lantern to the ” OFF” position after using and recharge immediately.
Rechargeable camping lantern The lamp comes with a 5000MAH rechargeable lithium battery and type-c interface, which takes about 6 hours to charge and lasts 9-300 hours depending on the brightness you use.
Sky lanterns can fly up to 3,000 feet and lasts for around 6 to 20 minutes, or when the flame burns out. However, there is no guarantee that the fire will be completely out and cooled when the lanterns eventually land. Consequently, any contact with a flammable surface could start a fire.

Trying to install a new fluro light, pull out old light to find 3 reds and 3 blacks 1 copper earth. What do I do to connect it up the right way??? When I pulled the old Fluro light out the 3 Reds were joined together with a connector ,two blacks were joined to one end of light wire, the other to the other end of the light wire, earth wire to the light case, the third black wire was connected to the wire from the ballast? Does this all make sense
ANSWER : No, this does not make sense but I have seen strange wiring before. There is power going from the light someplace else. Just connect it back up exactly as the old light was connected. It worked before so it will work again. If it works it is wired correctly. Without being there to check which wire was the hot wire and which was neutral it is impossible for me to say what is what. Make sure you connect the ground wire to the light chassis.

Hi, my tiger river spa does not heat. Filters are clean, jets work, no light installed. On ciruit board, green light for “Lim” , red light for heat, no other lights. Just bought house one month ago, no manuals.
Spa is a Bengal. Have noticed a symbol (can’t tell what it is) on the screen then most of screen goes blank with just the power light on. Is there a vacation mode or something like that?
Thanks for your help.
ANSWER : Spa’s are such that so many components can become faulty when left unattended to over a period of time. But most likely what your unit needs is just a regular service to clean up its systems and also ensure there are no leakages in the pipes. Bengal is a wonderful and durable product. The problem could range from low power supply to wires being eaten up by rats and other pests. Also it could be burnt out heaters thereby the inability to produce heat. The indicator on the screen could mean various things but the screen going blank usually would be caused by poor power supply. If you dont have the technical know how refer an expert to check it out and ensure the exact problem of the above mentioned is wrong with it before repairs can be carried out.Hope this solution has been helpful?

Had entire spa light replaced 2 mos ago. Now color does not work. Light is “stuck” on white. Doesn’t seem that the color wheel is moving. Service that replaced light only gave me 30 day warranty on light. It was installed 12-13-2010. Any ideas on what to try?
ANSWER : You haven’t said what exact model you have so i can’t be sure but , in the models with rotating screens, the first part that fails is the coloured wheel – the heat deforms it , it bends out of shape and blocks the rotation. You will need to open the system and see if you can rotate the wheel by hand. If you can’t you need a new wheel. If the wheel can be moved by hand you will need to check if the motor gets powered when you try to change colours. If it gets powered but it doesn’t move then the motor is dead. If it doesn’t then the control board is faulty – replace the failed part.

I have had two small Coleman ‘Frontier PZ’ propane lanterns for a number of years with no problems. Last year one of them started shutting down for no apparent reason – it would light normally, burn for 4 – 5 minutes and then go out. This summer the second lantern has started doing the same thing. Changing gas cylinders seems to have no effect, nor does a new mantle fix the problem. It’s hard to be certain but as I can’t hear any gas hissing it’s as if the jet gets blocked after a few minutes alight. Turn off the gas, leave the lantern alone for a while and it will relight ok, though it will still only burn for a few minutes before going out again. Any ideas?
ANSWER : There is something in the jets or the piping to the mantels, you my find spider webing there, if you did no cap the port where the tank goes some small friends might have wanted to go camping with you.
