Experienced athletes share their insights in answering this question:
This problem is caused by sharpening the chain on one side more than the other or can be caused by having the angle wrong when sharpening one side which causes one side to cut better than the other. The only solution is to get it sharpened professionally. All chainsaw users have to do this every few times we sharpen them.

How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

Saw chains operate by being propelled around a guide bar, removing material from the kerf by cutting chips from the side and bottom. In order to operate properly, the depth to which each tooth cuts must be limited to avoid it binding in the wood.
When diagnosing a machine that is not cutting straight look at the guides. If the rear guide is touching the blade even when not cutting, then the rear guide is probably set too far forwards. This is forcing the blade forward of its natural position on the blade wheels and can cause poor quality cuts.
The Setup: If your saw is not properly set/sharpened it won`t cut straight. The teeth of a hand saw are set (bent away from the centerline in alternating directions) so the effective cutting surface is just slightly larger than the body of the saw.
Circular saw technique

The first tool that comes to mind for cutting curves is a jigsaw, but if the curve is gradual, try a circular saw instead. It`s surprisingly quick and easy to cut a smooth curve with a circular saw. This method is for cutting rough curves. Don`t try to make furniture with this technique.

Another sign of a bent bar is when you constantly struggle to keep the saw from pulling to one side. There are several ways to test to see if the bar is damaged but the easiest is to just remove the bar and place it on a flat surface which can make any bends easy to spot.
Any size tool is perfect for cutting chains the way you need. Circular saws. These saws are most commonly used for cutting wood, but can also be used for other materials as well.
Its curved blade is designed to allow you to remove the meat from the joints and bones with ease, with little to no wastage. Moreover, it enables you to cut precise and thin slices. Often, you will find that the most delicious part of the meat is closest to the bones.
Despite the disadvantages, curved blades also offer advantages over traditional straight blades. The largest advantage that the curved blades offer over straight blades of equivalent size is that the curved blades have a greater radial component to their velocities while maintaining an equivalent tangential component.
Curve Cutting diamond blades are designed to be used with 4.5″ and 9″ angle grinders for cutting curves and radii with ease. The radii of the curve can be altered by tilting the angle of the blade in the cut.
The steel should be heated slowly to around 600/620°C and straightened at that temperature before being allowed to cool slowly and naturally. The heated area should extend well beyond the area to be straightened and, if a gas torch is used, a high heat output nozzle is required rather than a cutting nozzle.
To fix a broken or bent chain, you will need to remove it from your bike AND remove the broken or bent links. To do that, you will need a chain breaker tool. In the video, we used the Park Tool Master Chain Tool, which is the best tool for the job.
Place the blade on the anvil. Hammer down all ridges or lumps while using as few blows as possible to avoid expanding the metal too severely. If there`s a loose area, mark it and hammer between the mark and the blade`s rim to stretch out unnecessary tension.
The Best Chain Has Hexagonal or Square Links

A heavy-duty, hardened steel chain with hexagonal links thwarts nearly every thief with a bolt cutter. Hexagonal links (or square or trapezoidal) make it impossible for bolt cutters to get a grip.

A miter saw primarily cuts lengths of wood to make boards shorter (crosscut) and a table saw primarily cuts widths (ripping wood), where as a circular saw can handle both types of cuts.
A bolt cutter, sometimes called bolt cropper, is a tool used for cutting bolts, chains, padlocks, rebar and wire mesh. It typically has long handles and short blades, with compound hinges to maximize leverage and cutting force.
There are also industrial high-strength welded steel chains that are through-hardened. The larger diameters of these chains, especially the 5/8-, ¾-, and 7/8-inch sizes, are extremely difficult to cut due to their girth and hardness.
A chainsaw (or chain saw) is a portable gasoline-, electric-, or battery-powered saw that cuts with a set of teeth attached to a rotating chain driven along a guide bar. It is used in activities such as tree felling, limbing, bucking, pruning, cutting firebreaks in wildland fire suppression, and harvesting of firewood.
Chainsaws are intended only for cutting wood, in projects such as: Felling trees within the chainsaw`s operating diameter. Cutting (or bucking) fallen trees into smaller sections, either for firewood or disposal. Pruning large branches from trees.
A circular saw can`t make a perfectly straight cut by itself. It needs a little help from a fence or cutting guide. There are four ways to make straight cuts with a circular saw. The four ways are with a speed square, DIY circular saw cutting guide, Kreg Rip-Cut or Kreg Accu-Cut.
Press the ruler firmly onto the work surface, or secure it with sticky tack. Place the blade of your knife right alongside the ruler and slice downward, pulling the knife carefully toward you. Repeat a few times to make sure the paper is completely cut through. Don`t apply too much pressure with the knife as you cut.
: having the leaves cut lengthwise.
A curved blade will cut faster than a straight blade because the natural curve of the blade will bite into the wood at the toe end of the cut as you pull the blade towards you, slightly increasing the cut speed. A curved blade is also advantageous when you`re cutting above your head.
A jambiya, also spelled janbiya, jambya, jambia and janbia (Arabic: جنبية janbīyyah), also known as a shibriyeh (Arabic: شبرية shibriyyah) in the Levant, is a specific type of dagger with a short curved blade with a medial ridge that originated from the Hadhramaut region of Yemen.
Definitions of scimitar. a curved saber used in Eastern countries; the edge is on the convex side of the blade. type of: cavalry sword, saber, sabre.

I have a cut in the neck of my bob body opponent bag. its about 1 inch long right on his neck. how can i repair the cut?
ANSWER : Due to the material that is used, I’d get some fishing wire and sew the cut up. Stitch it normally, then go back over cross-stitching to get double the holding capacity. I’d then use some doctors tape, it’s very sticky and will keep the cut together. I know this sounds like doctors and nurses but it will work. Fishing wire isn’t going to snap, the only problem I can see is the bob body might hang its head slightly when you pull the stitching tight. Either way a cut to the neck will make him look hard as nails 🙂 Hope this helps. Your vote counts a lot. Thanks.

Starter was removed, rebuilt and reinstalled. Looking for help fo correct wiring.

The starter has 1 small post and 2 large brass posts. 1 at the top and the other atthe bottom

There are 5 wires

– red battery cable
– red & yellow (Small post?)
– 2 red
– 1 orange

What could happen if the combinatio is not correct when I connect the battery?

I believe the serial # is LD64157

1998 Sey ray 3.0 L mercruser 135 HP

ANSWER : Hi,

Attach the orange wire (FROM THE ALTERNATOR) to the stud on the starter solenoid that you connect the red battery cable.. Looking at the studded end of the solenoid, the small stud on the right side gets the yellow w/red stripe from the slave solenoid. The strapping coming out of the starter should be connected to one stud already. The empty large stud gets the two red and the orange wires.”

The Red/ Yellow wire goes to the Small stud, closest to the block,+ All the other wires go on the vacant Big stud.

Intex pool not compatible with Polaris vac-sweep cleaner
ANSWER : Polaris should have an adapter to make it fit, I’m surprised you didn’t get one, usually an adapter is put in a box to make it work with multiple pools, you can call them and order one or go to a local hardware store or Menards and make your own. They will have PVC fitting adapters. You should be able to find one that will work which you may need to permanently attach it on the one end and custom fit it, but if you have basic skills, then you shouldn’t have a problem with getting it to work. Let me know how this turns out.Benjamin
