Maximum pressure for using our wheels with clincher tires with inner tubes fitted is 120psi, however we believe best performance is achieved at below 110psi for all riders. Recommended pressures for clincher tires are slightly higher than tubeless to prevent pinch flats.
The inner tube has no significant effect on max pressure. The valve stem area is the only area sensitive to pressure, and in general the valve can withstand 200 PSI or better. (And if you exceed whatever limit there is the result is “catastrophic” failure, not simply the inability to pump in more air.)
The recommended operating pressure by the manufacturer is 3.4 pounds per square inch (p.s.i) or 240 millibar pressure (mb).
Locate the valve where you put your pump to inflate the airbed. Open the valve. You should instantly see and hear the airbed begin to deflate as the pressure is released. Gently press on the airbed to squeeze the air out.
If your valve is a Schrader (a car style) then you remove the cap by twisting, then use a pokey object to depress the center pin in the valve to release the air slowly.
If you`re new to tubing, the general recommendations are to keep speeds between 15-25 mph.
Capillary Action …..in Action!
Capillary action occurs because water is sticky, thanks to the forces of cohesion (water molecules like to stay close together) and adhesion (water molecules are attracted and stick to other substances).
99.9% of the time, if air leaks from a valve or air valve manifold, it is because you have a bad seal on an air cylinder or rotary actuator. With a worn or damaged piston seal (1), the compressed air holding the air cylinder in the retracted position leaks.
Pressure relief and safety relief valves will leak if the valve isn`t fully closed. This is a common problem in industrial settings where environments are often dusty or dirty. If there is any debris in the valve, it can obstruct the valve from fully closing, causing it to leak.
Float valve – failures – They are usually caused by scale blockage causing the stop water to fail. Float level valve-failure may be caused by water pressure, or it may be blocked by scale. When the floating ball inlet is just installed, first confirm whether the water stop function of the floating ball inlet is normal.
The liquid surface must be stabilised to eradicate the problem. Piping the outlet under the surface and diffusing the flow can work. Baffles across the tank or stilling tubes, to prevent the surface movement, always work.

The shut off valve function will 100% stop the flow of media when completely in the closed position. Shut off valves will also close around any product to make sure there is a 100% seal. Shut off valves offer a 100% full bore when in the open position.
Pressure Relief Valve is Leaking or Has No Pressure
If your pressure relief valve has no pressure, it`s likely that the balance hole has become plugged, the spring is broken, or the valve simply has a loose fit. In the case of a loose fit or broken spring, replacement is a must.
