Trailer weight is the empty weight of your fully assembled trailer. This can be checked by weighing your empty trailer at a truck stop or another location with a certified scale.
Dry Weight

Heavier camping vehicles usually offer more amenities, including space for more travelers. There is a wide variance among the weights of most trailers, from about 1,000 to 9,000 pounds — but as a general ballpark, the average dry weight of a standard trailer is 5,200 pounds.
