It will help us to track your crossbow if you use the Serial Number found on the underside of the pistol grip as the subject header.
SAFETY GUIDELINES

Barnett crossbows are equipped with an automatic anti-dry fire safety mechanism, which engages every time the crossbow is cocked. An arrow must be loaded into the flight track to release the safety and the safety must be disengaged or in the “off/ fire” position before each shot.

This crossbow is a fast shot, slinging arrows at a whopping 345 fps with 106 ft. -lbs. of energy.
Barnett does not recommend leaving a crossbow cocked for more than four continuous hours.
It may be engraved in the rail by the PCC anchor. It will be a seven digit number starting with a 9. If not, then turn your crossbow upside down and look inside the rail, towards the stock, behind the trigger assembly. The serial number will be on a sticker and start with XB followed by five numbers.
The crossbows were manufactured in the US and the defective sensors were made in China. This is not the first problem concerning the Barnett Outdoors crossbow.
Crossbows work on essentially the same principle as a bow – energy stored in the limbs of the crossbow is transferred to the arrow upon release of its string. Crossbows have a limited range, similar to that of a bow, and require careful estimation of the distance to the target to ensure a precise shot.
The trigger mechanism includes a trigger that is attached to a sear that contacts a bearing attached to the cable catch assembly. Cocking the crossbow causes a string nut in the cable catch assembly to rotate. When the crossbow is cocked, the string nut retains the crossbow cable and a bolt is loaded.
A common misconception is that faster is better. However, this is not always true. For example, a typical crossbow provides 260 FPS to 400 FPS. If you want to get the best out of your crossbow, then I suggest you choose a crossbow with a speed of 250-300 FPS.
As with most vertical bow hunters, effective range for a crossbow is about 40 yards. At this distance most hunters are able to fire a crossbow accurately enough to be lethal. Just like vertical bows, kinetic energy is the name of the game.
Summary. If you don`t care about hitting a target, a powerful modern crossbow can shoot as far as 500 yards. If you want to hunt, up to 80 yards is possible for a very skilled shooter, however you should stick to a maximum of 60 yards, and preferably much less than that (30-35) if you are a beginner.
We could talk about specifics and comparisons all day long, but the bottom line is: Compared to heavier and longer arrows from vertical bows, crossbow arrows drop like a rock and lose energy quickly after leaving the rail. What`s more, they do not stabilize well at long range.
The earliest representations we have of the crossbow date from 400 BCE, in China. By 209 BCE the Chinese army had 50,000 crossbowmen who fought with mass-produced bronze weapons. These crossbows, which were an important weapon in war until rifles were invented, were usually mounted and could fire up to 650 feet.
After outgrowing its facilities in Odessa, the Barnett team makes a move toward Florida`s west coast to the town of Tarpon Springs. The factory and offices there remain the company`s main manufacturing hub and headquarters today.
Barnett Crossbows

Today, the company makes its products in the town of Tarpon Springs, Florida. Even though their products are fairly affordable in the world of crossbows, Barnett doesn`t skimp on quality or features.

Best Overall – Barnett TS380. The TS380 is one of the most versatile Barnett crossbows on the market. It has a pass-through foregrip and adjustable butt stock so that you can adapt it to your size and stance. The 380 FPS bolt speed is also highly versatile.
The faster the crossbow shoots, the stronger the materials that make up the bow assembly need to be in order to withstand the stress. So, when buying a crossbow, don`t get caught in the speed trap.
In general, crossbows have more speed and accuracy than compound bows. Some of the fastest compound bow speeds on the market are anywhere from 320 to 350 feet per second. Crossbows can shoot well over 400 feet per second. Even inexpensive crossbows can usually shoot around 350 to 370 feet per second.
Uses. Because most bullet-shooting crossbows use small bullets, the bullet-shooting crossbow was used primarily for hunting. The small caliber rounds are perfect for killing animals like birds and rats.
You shoot bolts, which are like shorter versions of the arrows used in archery. Crossbows use a trigger to shoot the bolts, a bit like in rifle or pistol shooting. You shoot at a target, usually from 8 to 20 metres away. You`ll have to keep an eye on the target as you pull back the bowstring and set the bolt in place.
A crossbow and a compound are similar in the way that they are both mechanical and powerful. However, a crossbow is much easier to draw and fire because of the trigger system. Because a compound bow does not have a trigger system, you still need to use your draw strength to shoot the arrow.
While recurve crossbows require you to put some body weight behind each shot, a compound crossbow uses a complex system of cables and pulleys, called cams, to bend the more rigid limbs back.
The powerful limbs move a short distance and stop quickly when an arrow is shot. Therefore, the crossbow must have more physical mass than a compound bow to absorb the shock. This short, heavy power stroke means the crossbow will create more noise when discharged than the conventional compound bow.
Consider the broadhead weight

While 100 grain is by far the most common weight, if your crossbow can support either a 125 or 150 grain option, it`s definitely worth considering for the extra momentum and punch.

ANSWER : Here is owner manual:http://apache.ariens.com/manuals/030305C.pdfusually the switch is behind the ignition, sometimes at the N position of gearshift, just look for a switch with one wire coming in & one going out (usually the same color); disconnect the two wires & jumper them together to bypass the switch. Looks like yours has one under the seat.

The instructions I got are not exactly for the tent in the bag, so I need to find out the specific instructions for my tent rther than the generic instructions it came with.
ANSWER : Search on the internet for the manufacturer’s name, and the tent model. Most have instruction sheets downloadable from their websites. If that doesn’t work, and they can’t help you by email, then try to find a scout troop or outdoors club in your area, who may be able to help you find instructions or even someone with a similar tent.
