Xero® bow sights and crossbow scopes use two AAA batteries.
The lighted scopes use a 3-volt CR2032 battery.
A: The battery is located in the top of your scope. Just unscrew the top turret. The battery is a large watch battery size 3020 if my memory is right.

The reverse draw allows for a very long, 16.5” power stroke to really maximize the power of the 165-lb. limbs. The Storm RDX fires 400-grain arrows at a whopping 370 fps, translating to a muzzle energy of about 122 ft.
In short, power stroke describes the distance that the string accelerates the arrow down the flight rail. Hence, a crossbow with a longer power stroke means longer acceleration of the arrow and translates into faster arrow speeds. Conversely, a crossbow that has a shorter power stroke will yield slower arrow speeds.
A: Yes, the battery is only used to illuminate the reticle. If the battery dies, the reticle will appear black without illumination. I really like the scope but the illumination isn`t strong enough in bright daylight anyway.
Even though some cameras come with an add-on specialist battery pack, most digital cameras require standard AA batteries. These come in multiple options: alkaline, lithium and rechargeable. While alkaline batteries have a lower price, they usually have a short life in a digital camera.
Most cameras these days use rechargeable batteries like lithium ion , but there are still some that use AA batteries or AAA batteries. Good quality digital and DSLR cameras generally use lithium batteries which provide long-lasting power.
The hook at the end of the load cell connects at the middle to the strings of the crossbow. When the crossbow string is pulled back as far as possible and then released, the load cell measures the force. The digital panel meter provides a readout of the force measurement.
It may be engraved in the rail by the PCC anchor. It will be a seven digit number starting with a 9. If not, then turn your crossbow upside down and look inside the rail, towards the stock, behind the trigger assembly. The serial number will be on a sticker and start with XB followed by five numbers.
