It is jammed and the trigger is not moving

How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

Poorly made airsoft BBs can: Leave fragments within your airsoft gun and this will cause the gears to start jamming up and breaking. Scratch the barrel and deform it. With enough wear and tear, the barrel starts pointing your BBs in the wrong direction.
An airsoft fuse is the first, and probably most effective, piece of protection standing between your AEG and electrical damage. The fuse is part of your gearbox`s overall circuit. An AEG fuse stops too much current flowing around your circuitry should a power surge occur by `breaking`, or halting.
Poor technique, faulty rounds, and mechanical problems lead to a number of reasons as to why the gun got jammed. You can reduce the odds of having your weapon jam by routinely cleaning your firearm.
Mechanical malfunctions of a firearm (commonly called jams) include failures to feed, extract, or eject a cartridge; failure to fully cycle after firing; and failure of a recoil- or gas-operated firearm to lock back when empty (largely a procedural hazard, as “slide lock” is a visual cue that the firearm is empty).
What`s the Risk? Those who do not wear eye protection are at risk of eye injury, according to the AAP. Airsoft pellets that strike the eye can cause scratches, painful pooling of blood inside the eye, lens dislocation or blindness.
Just as you remove BBs from your airsoft when not using it, you should also remove the CO2 cartridge. Thanks to this, the seals in the airsoft gun will last longer. You should also remember to clean the airsoft gun regularly and properly maintain the seals.
The short answer is no; not all airsoft guns require batteries. However, most airsoft guns on the market today use batteries to power their motors. Battery-powered airsoft guns can typically fire more rounds per minute than their gas and spring-powered counterparts, so they are usually more favoured by airsoft players.
No Holding or Grappling!

Physical contact between players is not permitted. This is to include excessive shooting of a player and or a game Referee. If a player is caught shooting a referee on purpose or supposed accident, the offending player will be removed from game play.

Shots Per Battery

If you are using a 1,400 mAH battery, for example, you can expect to fire about 1,400 rounds before your battery goes dead. That may sound like quite a lot, but keep in mind that many airsoft battles often last several hours.

Dry fire does not pose any real risk of damage to most modern centerfire firearms; however, it can for rimfire weapons, where the firing pin in most designs will impact the breech face if the weapon is dry-fired.
A failure to eject a round happens most commonly when the casing of the newly fired round does not successfully leave the chamber of the gun. This can commonly be caused by a broken extractor claw, excessively-dirty gun chamber, case rim failing, or several other reasons.

Check the pellets that you loaded and make sure they are not too long for the magazine. Pellets that are too long and/or protrude when seated will contact the receiver and cause jams. Check your breech seal.

ANSWER : Personally, with that many problems, I’d call Mossberg and get a return authorization. None of these things should be happening, especially with a new gun.

I have a tippmann custom pro with a cyclone feeder. I recently got the SAW stock to put on it and encountered some problems many times after I reassembled the gun. I took it apart at least 5 times before I thought it was fixed but now ive encountered another problem. I believe it has to do with the cyclone feeder not responding or something is out of line in the gun. When I picked up the gun to shoot, no paint came out so I took off the CO2 and the barrel and saw that the paintball was 1/3 inside the gun. I also have a problem when im shooting it sometimes does really fast burst. Thank you
ANSWER : Hi there. Tippmann markers are super tough to make sure that they are put back together properly. The stupid clamshell design plus all the little, under engineered parts make it difficult to get it back together properly, especially after installing a stock. I was in the paintball industry for 10 years but have been out of it for a little bit, but i was one of the founding members of Uprising Nation and was a gunsmith/ salesman for PaintballOnline.com / Xtremes. Now with that said…I even had trouble with the tippmann 98’s…and I can rebuild an autococker with my eyes closed but can sometimes be stumped by the tippy’s bad design. It is really tough to diagnose an issue on these guns without looking at it. You may have the ball detent backwards,l missing a pin, sometimes the after market stocks on those are a little too large on the outside diameter preventing the internals from properly seating. The cycloce system may be off due to the valves not meing properly aligned or the connecting rod not being in all the way. Many times though it is incorrect installation of the detent or the deternt gets damages. That little orange peice of **** flap is a mance. I would start there.

It may seem like i am bashing your gun. Im not… Once they are put together properly they work great. Just DONT TAKE THEM APART. lol. If you buy the parts at a local gun shop they will install them for free.

lol I have 6 guns for sale 🙂

Have a good day

Air hose problems
ANSWER : You’ve either stretched the hose at the end, it has a tear, or it burst earlier. If you have any spare length you can trim the end and reattach it.Likely though it’s just barely long enough so you just need to pick up another one from your local paintball store or airsmith and pop that ****** on and you’re back in business!Good luck!

Do I have to take the gun apart to get the battery in the gun???
and also before i was done with the gun my brother put the paintballs in the hopper but for some reason they were falling out of the barrel. Did I do something wrong???
ANSWER : No, you didn’t do anything wrong… Paintballs come in a variety of sizes. That difference is very hard to see with the naked eye, but your barrel knows what fits and what doesn’t. Players have a choice in barrels and ID-internal dimensions, so the balls are various sizes as well. You will have to sample a few brands and see what works best for you.Good luck!
