“2½ kids” is sometimes used as a reference to an `average` family size. – TrevorD. 27. It`s surreally referencing the average 2.5 children in the average family in the specified population, treating it whimsically as if every family had exactly the mean number of children. – Edwin Ashworth.
For an average, it means most of a half of the households have 2 children, and the main part of the second half has only 1 kid.
Children look to their fathers to lay down the rules and enforce them. They also look to their fathers to provide a feeling of security, both physical and emotional. Children want to make their fathers proud, and an involved father promotes inner growth and strength.
“Our beliefs and attitudes spill over to our kids,” educational psychologist and parenting expert Michele Borba tells CNBC Make It. “If pessimism always builds and it becomes personal, permanent, or pervasive, it robs our kids of hope.”
Women turning 45 now tend to have around 1.9 children.
The number of kids that feels good to you is of course totally up to personal preference, your parenting style, and a lot of other very individual factors. For our lifestyle, I just love having 4 kids around. An Australian study found that parents with 4 or more kids were the happiest.
Contrary to your impression, at birth, girls look more like their mom than their dad. It is only from the age of one year that they would start to resemble their dad. There are several hypotheses to explain this phenomenon. The first would be related to evolution.
Stephen Kendrick outlines seven roles that a father plays in the life of his family: provider, protector, leader, teacher, helper, encourager, and friend.
I recommend following TRICK, an acronym for Trust, Respect, Independence, Collaboration and Kindness: Trust: Trust has to start with us, the parents. When we`re confident in the choices we make, we can then trust our kids to take necessary steps toward empowerment.
An actual study revealed one to two children is the ideal number for “happiness”, but with two you don`t have to deal with the aforementioned only child issues.
Number of families in the US by number of children 2000-2022

Around 7.01 million families had three or more children under 18 living in the household in 2021.

Stress. A TODAYMoms.com survey of more that 7,000 mothers found that the least stressful number of kids is four, while the most stressful number is three. Scary Mommy blogger Jill Smokler told Today that she wholeheartedly agrees. “Going from one to two was an easy, breezy transition,” she said.
Mothers at the end of their childbearing years who have a bachelor`s degree or higher have about 2.2 children on average. The two-child family is the most common family type among moms with a high school diploma or more, and it is particularly prevalent among women with a bachelor`s degree or higher.
Yes, a size 7 is a small shoe size for men. Shoe sizes usually correlate with height.
Sizes range from 0-2 (extra small) to 14-16 (extra large). Smaller sizes are usually petites, and larger sizes usually found in women`s or plus size departments. Remember that each clothing brand will have their own sizing guidelines, so watch carefully to ensure you are buying the correct size.
About 15 percent had their first child by age 22, nearly 30 percent became dads by 24, and less than 20 percent fell into each of three other age groups: 25-26, 27-29 and 30-44.
Sometimes children end up looking exactly like one parent, or even closely mirroring a sibling, and sometimes they don`t resemble anyone in the family. It`s all entirely possible. Kids share 50% of their DNA with each of their parents and siblings, so there`s plenty of room for variation.
In fact, dad`s contributions to their baby boy`s genes make up sixty percent of the kiddo`s looks. Mom`s contributions only influence the other forty percent, which explains a lot in terms of baby boys looking like identical, miniature copies of their daddies!
Through almost every studied culture, fathers have assumed three primary roles: the protector, the provider, and the disciplinarian. Before we discuss each of these roles, it is important to note that in many two-parent families today, mothers are fulfilling these three roles as much as fathers.
Important Responsibilities of a Father

Expressing love in healthy ways. Taking good care of yourself both physically and mentally and modeling appropriate behavior when help is needed. Being understanding and forgiving.

Our extensive animal phase has even included some mythical creatures, the most memorable of which is the unicorn parent. The Urban Dictionary defines this as “a mother who`s not perfect, enjoys alcohol, has a sense of humor and couldn`t care less what you think.” She might not care, but I think I like her.
The 4 types of parenting. The four main parenting styles — permissive, authoritative, neglectful and authoritarian — used in child psychology today are based on the work of Diana Baumrind, a developmental psychologist, and Stanford researchers Eleanor Maccoby and John Martin.
Child number two or three doesn`t make a parent happier. And, for mothers, he found, more children appear to make them less happy—although they are happier than childless women. For dads, additional children had no effect on their well-being in his study.
Since having five or more kids is generally the cutoff point for being considered a “large” family, here are all the ways your parenting will change once you hit that pivotal plus-five milestone.

ANSWER : The Gun should be looked at by a gunsmith for your safety and the safety of your son and anyone else that comes into contact with it.

From Wikipedia info:The Model 12 (introduced in 1912) was the next step from the Winchester Model 1897 hammer-fired shotgun, which in turn had evolved from the earlier Winchester Model 1893 shotgun. The Model 12 was designed by Winchester employee Thomas Crossly Johnson, and was based in large part on a design by John Browning. It was an entirely new hammerless design and was initially available in 20 gauge only (12 and 16 gauge guns were not sold until 1914). The Model 12 was the first truly successful modern hammerless pump-action shotgun ever produced. Its tubular magazine was loaded, and the action was fed, through the bottom of the gun. Empty shotgun shells ejected to the right. Depending on the particular wooden transformer plug installed in the magazine, 2, 3, or 4 shells could be stored in the tubular magazine. Without a plug, the magazine will hold 6, 2 3/4″ 12 ga. shells. With its forged and polished steel parts, the ultimate reason for the end of its regular production in 1963 was that it had become too expensive to produce at a competitive price. The primary competition at this time came from the much less expensive Remington Model 870, which had been introduced in 1950. In addition to price competition issues, the Winchester Model 12 rarely had parts break or wear out, often serving multiple subsequent owners, which further served to limit repeat sales. The majority of “modern” Model 12 shotguns manufactured after the 1930’s were chambered for 2¾-inch shotgun shells, only. Some early Model 12’s, however, were chambered for 2 9/16-inch shotgun shells. To add further confusion, some of these early Model 12’s have subsequently been modified, with their chambers lengthened to accept 2¾-inch shotgun shells, while others remain in their factory-stock 2 9/16-inch chamber lengths. Careful inspection by a gunsmith is always recommended to determine whether or not it is safe to fire a modern 2¾-inch shotgun shell in older Model 12’s.Special commemorative examples were nonetheless produced by Winchester after 1963 through 2006, through specialized gun collector purchase programs, but the Perfect Repeater shotgun was never mass-produced after 1963. The Winchester factory announced a complete closing of the factory facility in January 2006, thus ending the Model 12’s long and illustrious career at the age of 95 years. This site is for the R&R of the barrelhttp://www.nrapublications.org/TAR/Winchester12.asp

Treadmill is stopping after about 1 minute running on it.if my son runs on it it wont stop.
ANSWER : There are a few things that can cause the belt to stop running. First thing to do is check the lubrication and adjust the tension (get a manual from the manufactures website if you don’t have one, it will cover this adjustment). Next, clean the speed sensor wheel with compressed air or a q-tip and apply Paraffin wax under the belt and adjust tension if needed.
