How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

check to make sure that that spring is in place and that it`s actually functioning if that`s plate is not pushing against the spring it will not allow your gun to go into semi-auto. so if that`s missing then you`ve found the problem and stop there and go ahead and replace that spring. and that should fix the problem.
The internal gears may be misaligned, and/or the motor may be disconnected or damaged. Multiple rapid beeps indicate the battery charge is completely diminished and will not shoot. Recharge your battery. No blinking or audible beeps may require you to replace the MOSFET.
There may be a number of reasons why your airsoft gun won`t shoot. This can range from simple wiring issues to more complicated ones like broken teeth gears. While some of these can be fixed, some might require changing parts and a visit with a local airsoft technician.
if it`s a V2 gearbox it could just be that you are feathering the trigger, so it doesn`t quite finish a full cycle before you release the trigger, so it locks up. easiest fix is to slow down a bit, make sure you are giving the trigger a firm pull, and it shouldn`t happen.
If you are using a 1,400 mAH battery, for example, you can expect to fire about 1,400 rounds before your battery goes dead. That may sound like quite a lot, but keep in mind that many airsoft battles often last several hours.
You can safely leave most batteries in your airsoft gun provided that you look after them and do not leave them entirely empty for an extended timeframe (typically no more than a couple of weeks).
Playing Airsoft in the rain won`t hurt or damage your Airsoft replica. Overall Airsoft replica`s are pretty water resistant, however they are not waterproof. For electric and gas powered Airsoft replica`s it`s pretty much the same.
Airsoft guns shoot plastic pellets at velocities from 30 m/s (98 ft/s) for a low-end spring pistol, to 200 m/s (660 ft/s) for heavily upgraded customized sniper rifles. Most non-upgraded AEGs are in the middle, producing velocities from 90 m/s (300 ft/s) to 120 m/s (390 ft/s).
A trigger lock is another inexpensive safe firearm storage device. To use a trigger lock, first separate the lock into two pieces. Next, insert the cylinder through the trigger guard behind the trigger so the trigger cannot be pulled. Then attach the second piece of the lock and remove the key.
It`s not good practice for a few reasons. Leaving BBs in your magazine will weaken your spring. The longer you leave BBs in your mag, the weaker it will become. This means it will feed BBs into your gun slower and can result in misfeeds and unexpected dry fires on full auto.
Dry Firing PCP and CO2 Air Rifles

Dry firing PCP or CO2 air rifles will usually be completely safe, as there isn`t a piston to worry about. You`re simply releasing a short spurt of air/CO2 to force the pellet up the barrel.

While it is true that Green Gas is easier on the gun, and more affordable, that doesn`t mean that Co2 is worthless. CO2 is going to kick harder, shoot faster, and work better in colder temperatures. Due to it`s higher pressure, a CO2 powered pistol will kick much harder than a green gas weapon.
A hit happens whenever a bb (including “friendly fire”) makes direct contact with any part of your body or gear. This includes flaps of cloth, backpacks, feet, or fingers. Gun hits do not count.
Airsoft is safe for teenagers as long as they`ve been taught about handling and safety. As a parent you need to judge your kid`s responsibility level as well as their ability to follow rules and instructions. Kids can perfectly take more and more responsibility around the age of 10.
For pistols, it is much more normal to see the 150 to 200 FPS range. While for assault rifles, ones below an FPS of 250 are generally not effective. A good FPS for an assault rifle would be anywhere from 300 to 400 FPS. Anything beyond 500 FPS is generally disallowed in most airsoft events due to safety concerns.
Cold doesn`t just affect the gas used in your airsoft guns, but affects the actual airsoft guns themselves. Metal shrinks in the cold, tightening up tolerances and causing more friction. Liquids become more viscous, meaning lubricants aren`t as effective and provide more resistance. Plastics become brittle and fragile.
No Holding or Grappling!

Physical contact between players is not permitted. This is to include excessive shooting of a player and or a game Referee. If a player is caught shooting a referee on purpose or supposed accident, the offending player will be removed from game play.

Dryfiring an airsoft weapon will cause damage and wear to its internal components, and it`s not recommended to do it to an excess.
They Hurt More Than Lighter Ones

As mentioned before, heavy BBs retain a lot of their energy when they leave the gun. So the hit hurts a tad more than it would with a lighter one. You can`t use them for close-quarter combat as they`ll inflict a lot of pain on your opponents.

Samuel Colt developed the first mass-produced, multi-shot, revolving firearms.
If mistreated, or used incorrectly then they may, on a very rare occasion, break or explode. So long as you`re careful with your CO2 cartridges, you don`t have anything to worry about.
It is estimated that one cartridge lasts about 80 shots, so it goes quite fast. The advantage of CO2 – powered airsoft guns is that they are very powerful, so if you want high muzzle velocity, you should look for your equipment among gas models.
What`s the Risk? Those who do not wear eye protection are at risk of eye injury, according to the AAP. Airsoft pellets that strike the eye can cause scratches, painful pooling of blood inside the eye, lens dislocation or blindness.
Accordingly, a typical 0.20 g airsoft pellet will penetrate the skin at 136.7 m/s (448 ft/s).

I have a tippmann custom pro with a cyclone feeder. I recently got the SAW stock to put on it and encountered some problems many times after I reassembled the gun. I took it apart at least 5 times before I thought it was fixed but now ive encountered another problem. I believe it has to do with the cyclone feeder not responding or something is out of line in the gun. When I picked up the gun to shoot, no paint came out so I took off the CO2 and the barrel and saw that the paintball was 1/3 inside the gun. I also have a problem when im shooting it sometimes does really fast burst. Thank you
ANSWER : Hi there. Tippmann markers are super tough to make sure that they are put back together properly. The stupid clamshell design plus all the little, under engineered parts make it difficult to get it back together properly, especially after installing a stock. I was in the paintball industry for 10 years but have been out of it for a little bit, but i was one of the founding members of Uprising Nation and was a gunsmith/ salesman for PaintballOnline.com / Xtremes. Now with that said…I even had trouble with the tippmann 98’s…and I can rebuild an autococker with my eyes closed but can sometimes be stumped by the tippy’s bad design. It is really tough to diagnose an issue on these guns without looking at it. You may have the ball detent backwards,l missing a pin, sometimes the after market stocks on those are a little too large on the outside diameter preventing the internals from properly seating. The cycloce system may be off due to the valves not meing properly aligned or the connecting rod not being in all the way. Many times though it is incorrect installation of the detent or the deternt gets damages. That little orange peice of **** flap is a mance. I would start there.

It may seem like i am bashing your gun. Im not… Once they are put together properly they work great. Just DONT TAKE THEM APART. lol. If you buy the parts at a local gun shop they will install them for free.

lol I have 6 guns for sale 🙂

Have a good day
