Funny thing about Lithium Ion batteries, once they are fully charged, any additional applied voltage may result in a fire or explosion. It is the job of a battery IC to prevent this overcharge by shutting off the speed controller to prevent over voltage.
If the board doesn`t turn off after 15 minutes, that means you would need a new ESC.
The great thing about Evolve electric boards is that they turn into standard skateboards when the battery dies. You`ll be able to propel yourself to your destination with ease as you glide down the road.
Overcharging can shorten the lifespan of your battery, so it`s best to only charge it until the light indicator turns green. By following these simple tips, you can help ensure that your electric skateboard battery lasts for as long as possible.
Its recommended to not leave it on charge overnight. It`s a good idea to run your board all the way past 0% to the point it turns off every now and then to give the cells the opportunity to do a full charge cycle. Lithium batteries don`t have a memory, so this isn`t crucial for overall battery health.
Every week or 2 weeks, you can leave the board plugged in for an extra 30min to 1 hour after it is fully charged. The next thing you can do is NOT to ride in wet conditions.
Meepo V5 VERDICT – Great For Beginners

Meepo V5 remains a very good entry-level electric skateboard. The board is beginner-friendly and prioritizes range over power. While Meepo cut down on the motor wattage of the board, Meepo V5 is still one of the fastest boards among top-performing budget boards.

Yes, you can ride an electric longboard manually.
Generally speaking, an electric skateboard can last for 8-20 miles per charge for up to 1-3 years. Of course, this depends on a number of different factors. Luckily, you now know what those factors are. With this knowledge, you can help take certain measures to prolong your skateboard`s overall lifespan.
An electric skateboard might advertise a certain level of water resistance, but that doesn`t mean it`s waterproof. Even boards that have high IP ratings run the risk of damaged electrical and drive systems after repeated or prolonged exposure to wet conditions.
Avoid going out straight after rain. The riding surface is still likely to have a significant amount of water present and you would be surprised how much water can be kicked up off the riding surface and onto the boards compartment.
Most of the electric skateboards are not made for wet/rainy day, so it is better not to ride an electric skateboard on a slippy road or in rain. Water gets into the metallic parts and causes rust, making bearings seize up and stick to your truck. It makes the bolts rust making it impossible to get the nuts off.
Once the battery drops below its optimal state of charge, the charger will switch itself back on and begin charging the battery once again. If your onboard charger has a float or maintenance stage, you can keep it plugged in indefinitely without fear of overcharging your battery.
The answer to the first question is variable, depending on one`s circumstances and preferences, while the second question is a simple yes/no question and the answer is: yes — you can certainly leave your EV plugged in overnight, and most people do.
Yes. You can leave your board plugged in without issue. In fact, it is healthy for the battery to be left on for an extended period of time (overnight, etc.) every couple of weeks to balance the battery`s charge.
CAUTION: Meepo Boards are not waterproof. Wheels are slippery when wet. Always wear a helmet when riding an electric skateboard.
Yes, you can leave your electric bike battery charging overnight. There`s no need to worry about overcharging or over-draining your e-bike battery.
While the charging time with a standard charger is 3.5 hours for the standard version and 2.5 hours for the ER version, a Fast charger that is also available for purchase will cut that time to just under a whopping 30 minutes (Standard) or 1 hour (ER), making this eboard a lot more versatile when it comes to range.
Meepo Board vs Boosted Board

Meepo`s Mini 2 S is the best Boosted Mini X alternative, and certainly does have the power and quality control to be one of the best electric penny boards around. However, longboards are the preference for almost all riders in the e-board community.

Meepo is one of the first to manufacture high quality value-driven electric skateboards. Founded by Kieran Mao, the company thrives on innovation, passion, and quality.
All Meepo boards are handcrafted on-site in Meepo`s Shenzen factory. Over 120,000 Meepo Board riders in 70+ countries have fallen in love with electric skateboarding.
Electric skateboards, also known as esk8 or e-skate, have become increasingly popular and are extremely fun to ride. They are equipped with motors inside the wheels and have a removable battery embedded in the deck.
If you`re comparing the learning process of riding an electric skateboard to that of a classic skateboard, it`s tricky to answer but we would say electric skateboarding can be easier to start out with.
Yes, you can control an electric skateboard with your phone. There are a few different ways to do this, depending on the skateboard and the controller. Some skateboards come with Bluetooth controllers that connect to your phone, allowing you to control the board with your phone.

I have a Kohler Condidant 5 Generator that will run as long as you hold the start button in. It dies when you let off. I have a harness for the remote switch but no switch – It also will start the generator when you cross the red and black wire and run as long as you hold them together. There are 3 wires to the main switch and 5 to the remote switch. Does the starter stay engaged the whole time you hold the start switch or does the computer release the starter once it is running? The Generator is producing electricity because I tested it while holding the start button. Some where is a wire that shold tell it to keep running. I have read online many descriptions of the same problem, most are told the board is bad so they replace it and still have the problem. Have not found a solution. Talked to a marine machanic today and he said he fixed his friends generator doing the same thing by running a bypass wire but he couldnt remember exactly what he did it was a long time ago. Can anyone help me. Thank you
ANSWER : The problem is either the ballast resistor or the starter bypass relay. The bypass relay should be part of the starter solenoid. I’m afraid I can’t tell you exactly where the ballast resistor is located. It should be a physically fairly large resistor made of ceramic. It should be retangular roughly 1.5″-3″ long and 3/8″-1/2″ accross with a wire on each end. It could also be a coil of wire mounted on a phenolic board.

I have a New Balance 1400 (a few years old). When I run (7.0 or higher) the treadmill shut off. I loosen the belt than I retighten it. I ran 5.5 miles (ranging from 7.0 to 7.4). It ran great. Today it shut off before I got to 1 mile, Than I got it running again and it shut off after only .5 miles.
ANSWER : I wish I was there to get a look at it I don’t think its a electronic problem sounds to me from the description the motor may be getting hot. my suggestion would be to unplug it and take a can of air to the motor and blow it out get the dust and dirt off and out of it if possible most motors are sealed others are very accessible. also do the electronics this couldn’t hurt. a can of air is cheap and it could make a big difference as far as keeping it cool then plug it back in go for a run if this works great if not you may have a bigger problem with the motor. after a few years the bearings tend to dry out and the motor may be starting to fail if that is the case I would look to Ebay you can usually find one there for about 50-80 bucks I hope this has been of some help

Turned poulan pro 42 inch 18.5 HP Briggs and Stratton mower off after 1hr of use to move a board I was about to mow over. Tried to restart it but it just backfires. Removed spark plug and it looked fouled. Cleaned it up but when looking at spark it is orange in color. Bought new spark plug and now get white spark. Installed new spark plug and it still backfires. Plug is wet with gas. Any suggestions?
ANSWER : Check the valve clearances and especially the inlet valve to make sure that it is not riding (staying slightly open) B&S are notorious for valve problems as most of their motors do not have a valve adjustment on them, the valves stems have to be filed/ground down to get a clearance. Somewhere between 0.010 to 0.015″ is near enough for the inlets and about 0.005″ more for the exhaust. It is not critical.

I just purchased this Yamaha boat w/Twin MR-1 140hp motors, less than 100hrs (60 prox)and the starboard motor only reached 8000rpm on a 10000 redline spec (the port motor reaches 10000rpm. I have replaced the spark plugs immediatly and now the motor reaches 9500rpm. When the plugs were replaced the plug wire top of the plugs had a black powder residue (like graphite)and #1 & 4 plug electrode end were black minimal soot and #2 & #3 had a white color residue on the ceramic.

Any suggestions to attain the full 10000rpm?
