The seals will need to be replaced and you should be able to purchase them from a sporting goods store or online.

How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

You can leave a pellet in the chamber indefinitely. It won`t cause any harm. The o-rings in the gas cylinder will break down looooong before the pellet causes damage to the barrel.
WHO CAN SHOOT? If you are 18 years or older there are no restrictions on buying an air rifle and ammunition, and you can use it wherever you have permission to shoot.
Make sure that the magazine catch is in place so that the magazine can rotate around it. Check the pellets that you loaded and make sure they are not too long for the magazine. Pellets that are too long and/or protrude when seated will contact the receiver and cause jams. Check your breech seal.
If your Crosman airgun was manufactured after July of 1975, the first three or four digits of the serial number indicate the month and year the gun was built. For example if the first three or four digits of the serial number were 1179 or N79 then your gun was manufactured in November of 1979.
Some ammunition manufacturers recommend rotating service-related ammunition as little as every six months. By following that guide line, magazines would remain fully loaded a maximum of six months before being unloaded and reloaded.
Air weapons are not licensed in England and Wales, but have restrictions on their sale. Air guns, air rifles and air pistols are exempt from the certification requirement if they are not of a type declared `specially dangerous` by legislation.
Air weapons with muzzle energy greater than 12 foot- pounds may only be held on a firearms certificate issued by local police forces. Air pistols with muzzle energies greater than six foot-pounds (and certain other air weapons) are prohibited and may not be possessed without the authority of the Home Secretary.
When the air rifle is dry fired, there is no pellet to slow the piston due to air resistance, making the piston hit the end of the compression chamber under much greater pressure. This will cause a certain amount of damage, dependent on the make and model of your gun.
I found two tangible benefits from lubricating pellets. There was a slight improvement in accuracy when using pellets that had started to oxidise, so had dulled – shiny pellets appeared unaffected. The second benefit was protecting the barrel bore.
Crosman`s first models were the traditional American multi-pump pneumatic design, where 3 to 10 pumps would pressurize a reservoir for each shot. Descendants of these original models are still made, in rifle, pistol and carbine form, and they remain quite popular.
It is light, handy, affordable, and reasonably accurate. With its multi-pump pneumatic power source and solid accuracy, the Crosman 362 is a good choice for adult shooters looking for a simple yet powerful air rifle.
Plenty of Crosman Models to Choose From. Crosman has built their reputation upon uncompromising quality and safety. In doing so, they have diversified and now offer dozens of different CO2, pump, spring and Nitro Piston models. Every shooter has a different style.
Never Leave CO2 in your Airgun: Leaving CO2 in your gun longer than 24-48 hours can have a detrimental effect on the integrity of the seals and create issues with the CO2 sealing in the future.
To keep air rifles away from the wrong hands store them in a lockable cupboard or a gun cabinet. The keys must be kept away from the cabinet separately and in a secure place. If the cupboard does not have a lock you can use a secure locking device to attach the air rifle to the fabric of a building or a fixed feature.

Airgun manufacturers will typically impose a one to 10 time pumping maximum on their multi-pump airguns based on standard day conditions and maximum valve pressure. The pump limit is meant to preserve seals, reduce wear and tear and prevent valve lock.

What we have always recommended for new spring or gas piston air rifles is a break-in period of at least 150 shots. Some rifles will be good to go with 100 shots and still some might require 200 shots to get settled in.

Mar 12, 2010 – Could it be the check valve? I took it off and the flap appears to be working correctly. This well has been here a long time. Never given me any problems. I do have galvenized couplers on the discharge and intake sides. Old. Could these be leaking even though they show no sign of water? The discharge is able to hold 30 pounds easily overnight. I do not hear any vacuum in the intake when I take it off. Could the pipe to the well have a leak? I know I would have to insert a sleeve bnut I do not want to go through the hassle if I do not have to. I had put on a brand new pump from the hardware store that did the same thing so I think that would elliminate the pump as being the problem.
Mar 12, 2010 – I have a 3/4hp flotec convertible jet pump. It is able to hold 30lbs pressure on the discharge side as the primie easily for 24 hours. It is not able to pull water from the well whcih has been here for years. i disconnected it for the winter and rehooked it up. The galvanized couplers on the discharge and pump side are old but do not appear to be leakeing as I taped them well. The check valve seems to be functioning well as I took it off and the flap works correctly. The well is not pulling watrer. there does not appear to be a vacuum on the check vale when I losen it. could the check valve be bad? I am aware I might have to resleeve the well, but do not want to hassle with this if I do not have to. I want to eliminate everything else first. i put another brand new pump on it to see if it was that. That partiuclar pump which was the same thng did not work either.

3 year old Toro Z4200 time cutter Z, 19 HP Kohler, engine runs great, new battery, new solenoid, with the seat sensor connected or by-passed, STILL WONT start off the key switch. Clicks at the kill relay. Would the kill relay be the problem?
Whats confusing is, both the green and blue posts on the solenoid have 14.01 volts when you turn the key to ‘start’ position. Did the same thing with the old solenoid, which is probably still good. I replaced it to eliminate that variable. It also ‘clicks’ at the fuel switch at the carburetor bowl, but that is only 1 lead (I assume a hot lead) so Im thinking that CANT be it.
Using the old hillybilly method, jumping across the 2 top posts on the solenoid, with the key in on position, it will start right up, run, drive and mow just fine.
So my best guess is this ‘KILL RELAY’ must be bad?
Any help would be appreciated, thank you !
ANSWER : These things are pre requisites for engine cranking: PTO/Blades are off/button pushed down, the steering arms are out/parked position, and you are in the seat. I think. Definitely the blades have to off.

I have coleman component 443 camping stove.
While pumping, the input air by the pump leaks just after the pump.
I guess the cap of pump should be replaced.
I tried to buy the part in Vancouver, unfortunately, I couldn’t.
I will visit seattle next week, is there any repair center in seattle?
ANSWER : Yms3023000-The only official Coleman repair facility is in Wichita, KS. Try oiling the flexible gasket at the end of the pump. More often than not, a leaking pump is is due to the gasket drying out and not forming a proper seal.Hope this helps.Regards,DIYpro

I have a Kohler Condidant 5 Generator that will run as long as you hold the start button in. It dies when you let off. I have a harness for the remote switch but no switch – It also will start the generator when you cross the red and black wire and run as long as you hold them together. There are 3 wires to the main switch and 5 to the remote switch. Does the starter stay engaged the whole time you hold the start switch or does the computer release the starter once it is running? The Generator is producing electricity because I tested it while holding the start button. Some where is a wire that shold tell it to keep running. I have read online many descriptions of the same problem, most are told the board is bad so they replace it and still have the problem. Have not found a solution. Talked to a marine machanic today and he said he fixed his friends generator doing the same thing by running a bypass wire but he couldnt remember exactly what he did it was a long time ago. Can anyone help me. Thank you
ANSWER : The problem is either the ballast resistor or the starter bypass relay. The bypass relay should be part of the starter solenoid. I’m afraid I can’t tell you exactly where the ballast resistor is located. It should be a physically fairly large resistor made of ceramic. It should be retangular roughly 1.5″-3″ long and 3/8″-1/2″ accross with a wire on each end. It could also be a coil of wire mounted on a phenolic board.
