Dear Sirs: I tried Smith & Wesson but they do not have parts for this gun. They said it was to old. I purchased the 9mm, stainless steel gun new on 9-10-1988. I still have the original parts list that came in the box with the gun. I am trying to find the left side ”Manuel Safety, Ambidex” item no. 77- part no. 064920000 and ”Manuel Safety Screw” item no. 79 – part no. 064900000.Please let me know if you have these parts for sale and advise me of the cost.Thank you,Jim

One way screws, a type of security screw, are the screws most often used in safes, security gates, bolt locks, and hangings in public areas. While they`re easy to install, they`re much more difficult to remove. One way screws have smooth slots that make it near impossible to grip screwdrivers onto.
Most standard screws, bolts or nuts are unscrewed by turning them anti-clockwise, as shown in the image below. A good way to remember this is to try and commit to memory the phrase that all junior mechanics learn – righty tighty, lefty loosey.
Traditional security screws, also known as tamperproof screws, are otherwise standard screws but with a unique head, making it nearly impossible to remove with common tools. That used to mean that any screws that couldn`t be removed with a slot-style or Phillips® head driver could be considered security screws.
Use a Clutch Head Removal Tool

Clutch head removal tools feature two, super-hard tungsten carbide tips which can effectively dig into the screw head. By applying pressure, via the removal tool, it`s possible to gain enough purchase to be able to loosen the security one way screw.

Screw Handedness: Left-Hand Thread and Right-Hand Thread

Screw handedness refers to the direction that a screw`s thread wraps around its shaft. Right-handed threads run clockwise, and left-handed threads run counterclockwise.

Screw may be right- and left-hand thread depending upon the direction of the helix. A right-hand thread is that which gets tightened into the nut when it rotates in the clockwise direction. A left-hand thread is that which rotates in the anti-clockwise direction while tightening.
(mnemonic) Used to recall the direction a standard screw, bolt, or nut must turn to either tighten or loosen, right meaning clockwise and left counterclockwise.
The easiest way to remember which direction tightens and which one loosens is the old axiom, Righty-Tighty and Lefty-Loosey. This means that turning most threaded things right, or clockwise, tightens them (Righty-Tighty), and turning them to the left, or counterclockwise, loosens them (Lefty-Loosey).

There`s a common misconception that tamper resistant screws and tamper proof screws are the same thing, however, this is not the case. Tamper resistant screws are relatively difficult to remove, whereas tamper-proof is nigh on impossible without the right tool.
To remove a screw without a head, you can simply grasp the end of the shank with pliers. Turn the pliers to release the screw from the material, and pull out the screw.

Square tent with 2 types gazebo poles, varenda, 2 side windows
ANSWER : The 2 longest of the poles go in an x over the center of the tent and the 2 shorter ones go arch to the sides. http://www.wenzelco.com/details.aspx?NavID=412shows a picture very similar to your tent. If you go to image 2 it shows it with out the fly. now if you got 2 sets of 4 poles, 2 long and 2 short, and one set is all aluminum, then I would go with the aluminum set. It is less likely to collapse in high winds.

TC5000 and after extended use I smell burning and upon removing the belt cover and drive belt I felt of the motor on the motor side of the drive pulley and it was ”red-hot”, obviously the source of the smell of the burning. The motor spins freely without any rubbing noise. The drive pulley (motor side) and the tread pulley appear to be alligned. One curious thing is that the threaded motor output shaft is recessed about 3/8” from the outside edge of the pulley. Could it be the bearing on the pulley side of the motor? I am dumbfounded as to what the solution might be. Note that I could not enter the exact product as my model seemed to be invalid. My model is the TC5000. Thanks [email protected]
ANSWER : Just because it spins freely doesnt mean it cant have a shorted winding. Id send it back where it came from or at least replace the motor.
