If your puck falls into the alley, the rules of shuffleboard say you have to sit out the rest of the round. Receive a 1-point penalty if you: Touch the playing surface at any time. Hold a puck in your hand while the other team is playing.
Games are played in frames until one player or team scores 51 points. Every player or team gets to finish each frame and the highest score is the winner (51 points or greater). If the player or team that scores 51 points or more has the hammer (the last player or team to play), then they are declared the winner.
The zone closest to the point from which the weights are shuffled is worth one point, the next furthest zone is worth two points, and the furthest zone away from the players is worth three points. If a puck travels to the end of the playing surface and hangs over the edge, the scoring value is four points.
Each end of the court has a scoring area in the shape of a triangle. The tip of the triangle is worth 10 points, the next two zones are worth eight points, and the farthest zones are worth seven points. The first team to 75 points wins.
A 1 point safety is extremely rare, but it can happen. What is a 1 point safety in football? A 1 point safety is when the team trying to score a 2-point conversion or PAT turns the ball over, the defense takes the ball out of the end zone, then gets tackled in the end zone for a safety.
Scoring is based on the numbers of the compartments 1 – 4. For each set of four disks constructed by taking one from each compartment, 20 points are awarded (i.e. 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 doubled). After the sets of four disks have been removed and tallied, any remaining disks score the amount shown on their compartment.
Each player has 3 sub-turns to get as many pucks in the scoring boxes. The boxes are numbered from left to right: 2, 3, 4 and 1.
1) Games are played to 15 points

While you can also play to 21, or any other number for that matter, an official match is played to 15. The first player or team to reach 15 points wins.

Red Numbers

This technique involves sliding the puck along the edge of the table, in an effort to knock off the opponent`s puck(s). It`s a cool trick that comes in handy in a pinch.

Only one team scores in a round. The team which has their weight closest to the end of the board scores. All of their weights which are ahead of their opponent`s deepest weight (closest to the end of the board) are added together for the score for that round.
What is a first touchdown scorer bet? To win this bet, you must correctly pick the first player to score the first touchdown in the game — the first player who receives a touchdown pass or crosses the goal line with the ball.
Many leagues and competitions originally awarded two points for a win and one point for a draw, before switching to the three points for a win system.
Sjoelbak, aka Dutch Shuffleboard and Sjoelen, is a wooden board game which is excellent for dinner parties or family gatherings.
Though there are many differences between table shuffleboard and deck shuffleboard, both kinds are a great source of fun for all ages.
Casual or Tournament Play

In order to play in a tournament, your table must be the regulation size of 22` long and 20” wide Tournament weights are 2 5/16” in diameter and must weigh about 12 oz. If you are not planning to host official tournaments, you have more leeway with shuffleboard size and your weight choice.

It is legal to aim your own shots at a player`s puck with the goal of removing them from the scoring zone or even into the 10 OFF zone, for which a player receives a penalty of minus 10 points. If a player`s puck is on the 10 OFF line then the player receives a five point penalty.
shuffleboard, also called shovelboard, original name shoveboard, game in which disks are shoved by hand or with an implement so that they come to a stop on or within a scoring area marked on the board or court (on a table, floor, or outdoor hard surface such as concrete).
After all eight disks have been played, the score can be counted. For a disk to count for points, it must be completely within a scoring area and not touching any lines that border the area.
The game of “Knock Off” is likely the most popular shuffleboard play variation, and it can be played in singles (one vs. one) or doubles (two vs. two).
Play. The Players (or teams of two players, one at each end) take turns going first during a game. Flip a coin to decide who plays yellow and who plays black; yellow starts the first end. Players slide disks alternately.
Black Numbers – This refers to a classic game where you keep score using the regular scoring rule. It involves giving points to shuffleboard pucks that land within areas of the table that display the black numbers.
Yes – there are many varieties of the game and most of them have stood the test of time and remain very popular.
Using the rail to guide your shooting hand, the side-wheeling shot is the standard and more accurate method of shooting. This method, which is particularly helpful on longer shuffleboards, involves directing the puck with your thumb, index, and middle fingers while your ring and pinky fingers use the edge as a guide.

Starter was removed, rebuilt and reinstalled. Looking for help fo correct wiring.

The starter has 1 small post and 2 large brass posts. 1 at the top and the other atthe bottom

There are 5 wires

– red battery cable
– red & yellow (Small post?)
– 2 red
– 1 orange

What could happen if the combinatio is not correct when I connect the battery?

I believe the serial # is LD64157

1998 Sey ray 3.0 L mercruser 135 HP

ANSWER : Hi,

Attach the orange wire (FROM THE ALTERNATOR) to the stud on the starter solenoid that you connect the red battery cable.. Looking at the studded end of the solenoid, the small stud on the right side gets the yellow w/red stripe from the slave solenoid. The strapping coming out of the starter should be connected to one stud already. The empty large stud gets the two red and the orange wires.”

The Red/ Yellow wire goes to the Small stud, closest to the block,+ All the other wires go on the vacant Big stud.

How do I set up a dart board the correct way, with measurements etc? And where is the best place to put your dart board?
ANSWER : Id say the best place is where you have an open space to play, normally we have ours outside on the patio, but in winter we put it on the back of the hallway door, we use soft cork on the outsides of the board so when you throw miss, it lands in the cork, not the door. Have a look at this site:
Dart Board Part 1 as they have all the measurements you need with a picture as well explaining everything to the tee.
