How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

Clean off the fan and reinstall. Sometimes the motor will automatically shut off as a safety feature. Check the underside of the motor for a reset button. If this reset button has been triggered, your air hockey table should power up just fine after you push the button and pop it in back in.
Examine the air holes closely and look for blockage and debris in the holes. Anything blocking the air holes will negatively impact game play. Also pay attention to chipping around the air holes as this can be a sign of a table in decline.
When buying an air hockey table, you`ll want to consider size. Regulation size tables are 8 feet long and 4 feet wide. This is the ideal size for serious players, but it is also a great pick for commercial use. Having a regulation size table means you can host tournaments and attract pro players to your establishment.
Air hockey is a Pong-like tabletop sport where two opposing players try to score goals against each other on a low-friction table using two hand-held discs (“mallets”) and a lightweight plastic puck.
Air hockey tables typically come in two different types: large-puck models and small-puck models. The large-puck models include full-size pucks that are around 3 ΒΌ inches in diameter. Small-puck air hockey games feature smaller pucks and tend to cost less than the large-puck styles.
The good news is you can usually fix it without having to replace the table`s surface. The smaller the dent, the easier it is to fix. Use clear epoxy to fill the dent in until it`s level. After the epoxy has set, use sandpaper to grind down the surface and carefully re-drill any clogged air holes.
Surface. As mentioned above the surface material of an air hockey table should be MDF which is sometimes covered with either a plastic coating or a laminate coating. It would be a good idea to buy a table which has this coating over the stickers and designs to ensure the smoothest playing surface possible.
Though similar in concept to air hockey (commonly known as “glide hockey”), table hockey games are more of a simulation of the sport of ice hockey while air hockey is more abstract.
The frame of the air hockey table is made of 1″ by 4″ pine wood. The inner dimension of the frame or the playfield size is 80cm by 50cm. Using a circular saw and a guide, we cut down four pieces of wood, two strips of length 80cm and two of length 54cm (as the width strips will overlap the length strips).
But the official size for an air hockey table, and now we`re talking about the large, commercial-standard tables that you`ll find in arcades and bars, is 8ft in length. This is easily large enough for all players to have a really fast, hectic game, with loads of space for tactical shooting and clever rebounds.
The original idea was to create a miniature hockey game that involved a frictionless surface that a puck could float on. Using ice as the surface was obviously out of the question so an air table came about and the rest is history. 1.
The game is played in a similar fashion to regular air hockey, albeit with a magnetic puck. Because the puck is made with different polarity on each side, the puck can be flipped in order to change the effects of the magnets.

Air hockey tables are available in a range of sizes, from tabletop versions to large models spanning up to 90 inches in length. Regulation-sized tables are typically 84 inches long and about 48 inches wide.
When the air hockey table is turned off, there is no air from the holes to raise the puck above the surface of the table. Because of this, there is much more static friction between the puck`s surface and the table`s surface, making it a lot more difficult to play the game.
Space Needed for Air Hockey
We recommend at least 3 extra feet of space on either end of the table for the players` maneuverability. So in total, for an air hockey table you`ll need a rectangular space that`s roughly 13.5 feet by 6 feet to comfortably store a ping pong table.
Spacing can be formulated as a rule: avoid bringing your defender onto teammates, or more specifically, into the passing, shooting, and driving lanes of teammates. If an attacker already occupies a certain spot or lane, then another one shouldn`t move in the same space, congesting it and closing the play.
Space Hockey challenges you to ride hoverbikes around floating platforms to capture the ball and launch it into the swirling vortex of your opponents` goal. It is fast, it is frantic, it is an adrenaline kicking rush from the start and it is always in motion.
The digital boards allow broadcasts to constantly change which advertisers appear. There are five different “zones” sold to sponsors: behind both nets and all three zones. Ads are sold like commercials, with brands buying 30-second increments, based on the game clock. Every game, teams have 120 increments to program.
They`ve created a puck with infrared emitters and use “active tracking,” a set of 10 infrared cameras fixed to the catwalk at the top of an arena, to keep tabs on it. Thirty times a second, data is collected from the puck and “player tags” that are slipped into the backs of players` jerseys.
Using the brush attachment on your vacuum, skim it over the tabletop. Switch on the air blower on your table. Using a damp cloth, wipe the surface of the table, and then do the same using a dry cloth to buff. Vacuum all goalie mallets, and check if the felt needs replacing.
USA Hockey designates four skill levels: Tier 1: The highest level of competition, also called “AAA”, following the Canadian system. Tier 2: also called “AA” or “A”. Tier 3: may also be called “A”, the lowest level of competitive hockey. Recreational/Developmental: Includes house league and select.
At most levels of play each team must designate one captain and a number of alternate captains (usually two or three) who speak to the officials when the captain is on the bench. Captains wear a “C” on their sweaters, while alternate captains wear an “A”.
Air hockey tables are made of slick surfaces usually made out of plastic. This playing field is surrounded by raised edges that prevent the puck from flying off the table. Each air hockey table is drilled symmetrically with tiny holes across the entire surface, creating an even and frictionless playing field.

Kettler tennis table has rusty legs, one is very bad
ANSWER : To stop this much rust – go to any hardware store and buy (I forget the exact name) a “paint” called Rust Stop. It will stop the rusting and turn the existing rust into a hard black surface that you can then paint.

ANSWER : Yeah, it could be getting low on freon but you also could turn up the ac a bit… if your running at 68 degrees or something turn it up to 72 and it wont freeze up as quick.

We just got a Seascape Hot Tub with no instruction booklet. We can not get it too heat or the jets to work. We see functions F1 thru F8 when we hit the jets button. What do the mean?

Yes, please advise where I can get replacement parts for our Stanley Cup Regent Air Hockey Table. I emailed them and Hedstrom has taken over Regent Sports ( Gone out of business ) and has only limited parts. Of course they don’t have the part I need, which is a Goal Sensor. It’s part #22 on model # 50457, any help would be Greatly Appreciated.
