Shakespeare Mach III Spinning Reel Details:

Mach III 3000 reel – Capacity 0.31mm / 125m – Ratio 6,2 – Weight 260g.

This Shakespeare cirrus combo comes pre-spooled with 8-lb stern monofilament fishing line that is ultra lightweight, yet extremely strong and durable.
The Shakespeare Company is a subsidiary of Pure Fishing which manufactures fishing equipment.
Most fly reels are measured in weight and range from 3 to 12. As a rule of thumb, your fly reel weight should match that of your rod. For example, if you bought a 5-weight fly rod, make sure the fly reel you choose can handle line weights ranging from 4 to 6.
The most common weights of braided fishing lines are 10, 20, 35, 50, 65, and 80-pound tests, but they can go well above 100 pounds. Essentially, you want to use a heftier line for heftier fish.
The lighter your chosen line class, the more chance you will get bites and ultimately, more fish! Lighter line will be thinner in diameter compared to a heavier line.
The best all-around fly rod for freshwater fly fishing is a 5-weight. A 5-weight fly rod offers the most versatility for everything from panfish, bass and small salmon. A 5-weight is also great as a “back-up” fly rod once you grow as a fly fisher.
From my experience, Shakespeare makes excellent fishing rods and reels. I have been using Shakespeare products for years and still have the first fishing pole I bought for myself (a Shakespeare) about 6-7 years ago. It is still in fine working order; although, I must admit that it has seen better days.
Shakespeare. One of the most widely available brands, Shakespeare makes fishing gear easily accessible to every angler. Especially for beginners, Shakespeare makes it easy to get out on the water while on a budget and start catching fish.
Reel Size 2500

An increased number means that the spool and line capacity are slightly larger than the size 1000 spinning reel.

Instagram Reels are viewed in a vertical orientation, so videos and photos should be 1080 pixels wide and 1920 pixels tall (an aspect ratio 9:16).
Instagram Reels length may be up to 90 seconds or up to 15 minutes, and it depends on how the Reel is created. If the Reel is created via Instagram Reels tool in the app straight from the Instagram camera, the length is up to 90 seconds. The default Reel length users can create via the IG camera is 15 seconds.
No. The heavier line will not work well with the action of the rod. The extra line capacity won`t matter when your rod breaks off instead of your line breaking.
3000 size – This size reel is ideal when fishing small commercials where a short cast is all that is required. A small 3000 reel won`t help you cast long distances but is perfect for chucks of 30m or less.
The general rule for most reel manufactures is 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch from the edge of the spool. You want to put enough line on the reel so that it casts well, but you still want to be able to see about 1/16 or a little more of an inch of the spool when it`s fool.
Reel lubricants

Because WD-40 is a degreaser, it breaks down grease and oil. Never use it to lubricate a reel. The basic rule of thumb is to grease gears and oil everything else — sparingly. Too much grease and oil impede the spool and reduce casting distance.

Cleaning the Reel

After every fishing trip, basic maintenance requirements include cleaning the outside of the real with a damp microfiber cloth and perhaps adding a light layer of protectant and lubrication. WD-40 Multi-Use Product works well to provide routine care with a trusted and easily available product.

A: Yes it does have a metal needle tip. Q: Does the lubricant have an expiration date? A: No it doesn`t have an expiration date.
A baitcasting reel has an open face. The spool rotates parallel to the rod. Unlike the spinning reel, the spool of the baitcasting reel actually rotates. An oscillating bail winds line onto the spool of a spinning reel.
The 6 Lb test strength is great for targeting multiple species. It`s light enough to pull in a pile of Panfish, and heavy enough to get your Largemouth Bass dockside. However, when you get more specialized a lighter test (2-4 Lb.) for Panfish and a heavier test (8-12 Lb.)
Thicker line decreases casting distance and accuracy

If you`re not covering enough water, or placing your lure exactly where you want it to go, you`ll miss out on fish that you might`ve otherwise been able to catch.

Deep-Sea Fishing

In general, you can get by with a 6 to 7-foot medium-action offshore fishing rod with a heavy baitcaster reel and 20-pound test monofilament line. If you`re going for deep-sea bottom fishing, however, you`ll need 50-pound line.

In general braided line 30lb plus is recommended for sports fishing because it makes reeling in much easier. However using a lighter line takes more skill and makes for more of a fight.
Generally, sizes range from fractions of an ounce for light line fishing and small fish rigs, up to several pounds for dropping rigs in deep ocean. More usually, sinkers in the 0.5–8oz category cover most of what the average angler will use in fresh or saltwater.
