BLX is the new Wilson Racquet Technology engineered with basalt fibers combining proprietary Frame, String Holes and Grip Technologies for THE PERFECT FEEL. BL = Basalt + X = Proprietary Technologies combined for the perfect feel. Basalt is a natural volcanic rock.
300 grams (or 10.6 ounces) is an average weight for a racket. Less than 285 grams (10 ounces) is considered light.
This refers to the point at which the racquet balances. This point can be closer to the handle, which is considered “head light” (HL), at the halfway point of the racquet (evenly balanced) or towards the head of the racquet, “head heavy” (HH).
WILSON TOUR LIMITED BLX $299.
The Wilson Sporting Goods Company is an American sports equipment manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois.
Weight: A heavy racquet is more powerful, more stable and transmits less shock than a lighter racquet (all other things being equal). The extra weight of a heavy racquet helps it win the battle at contact when the stringbed collides with the ball.
Generally speaking, a light racquet will be more maneuverable; a heavy racquet will be more stable. Beginners should choose a racquet that weighs somewhere between 9.5 and 11 ounces – on the heavier end if you`re strong or relatively athletic.
Any racket with a balance point of 285-290mm (length measured from the bottom of the racket handle, without any replacement grip being applied) is considered a balanced racket, while anything lesser than that is considered head light, and anything more is considered head heavy.
4 pts HL is simply a measurement for the balance of a racquet or, more specifically, how heavy a racquet feels when you swing the racquet to hit a ball. Ultimately this means that the racquet contains more weight towards the handle of the racquet and less weight towards the head of the racquet.
Not only do LED lights look infinitely cooler than halogens, but they`re also more efficient. They run much cooler than halogen lights, and you won`t have to replace them as often as halogen light bulbs. The fact that they run so cool indicates the efficiency advantage they hold over halogen bulbs.
LED headlights are light-emitting diode headlights. They use semiconductors to transmit energy-emitting photons that create light. These headlights can get hot, so some require additional fans or heat sinks to control the temperature.
There are three main types of headlamps: halogen, HID and LED. Each type has distinct advantages, so if you`re buying a car consider all the types that are available before making your decision.
A company dedicated to sport. A town devoted to craft. A factory distinguished by its legacy. Since 1955, every leather Wilson football has been built by hand in Ada, Ohio, by our veteran team of skilled craftsmen and women.
Like many others, Wilson manufactures their tennis racquets in China, but it`s an American company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.
The company suffered financial reversals in 1914 and, in a move calculated to capitalize upon the popularity of U.S. President Thomas Woodrow Wilson, reorganized as Wilson Sporting Goods Company under the leadership of businessman Thomas E. Wilson.
Do heavier rackets give more power? Yes. Heavyweight tennis racquets (+ 300 grams) help to produce more power behind the ball and can help to maintain control in a faster swing. Heavier racquets are mostly used by Professional, Tour, Advanced players as well as those who want to generate more power.
For a more head light balance, add lead tape under the grip at the bottom of the racket. This will add more weight to your racket without you actually feeling the change, shifting your balance point lower down the frame and making your racket feel more head light.
Adding lead tape to the head of your racket will make it more head heavy, whereas adding weight to the handle of the racket using lead tape, silicone, putty or a heavier grip will make the racket more headlight.
When it comes to the actual tension, most manufacturers recommend stringing elastic materials like nylon or natural gut around 50-60 lbs. If using a stiffer string like polyester, drop the tension to avoid arm injuries.
In general, the strung weight is going to be around 15-18g (0.5 oz) heavier than the unstrung weight. Each type of strings has slightly different characteristics, so this will vary based on the type of string you use.
Some rackets` design prevents weight from being added inside the handle. In these cases, we`ve found going down a full grip size and adding a heat shrink sleeve is an effective and inexpensive way to tail-weight.
How does one find and measure the balance point in a racket? Simple, place the racket across your index finger and move it side to side to find the balance point, then measure from the bottom end of the racket to the balance point to find the length of the balance point.
It is the standard 27 inches long with a balance point of 330 mm, making it slightly head light and easy to swing. The 71 stiffness rating is a bit less flexible than many racquets for club or recreational players. However, Babolat has implemented some new technologies for 2021 to help with comfort.

Trying to install a new fluro light, pull out old light to find 3 reds and 3 blacks 1 copper earth. What do I do to connect it up the right way??? When I pulled the old Fluro light out the 3 Reds were joined together with a connector ,two blacks were joined to one end of light wire, the other to the other end of the light wire, earth wire to the light case, the third black wire was connected to the wire from the ballast? Does this all make sense
ANSWER : No, this does not make sense but I have seen strange wiring before. There is power going from the light someplace else. Just connect it back up exactly as the old light was connected. It worked before so it will work again. If it works it is wired correctly. Without being there to check which wire was the hot wire and which was neutral it is impossible for me to say what is what. Make sure you connect the ground wire to the light chassis.

Hi, my tiger river spa does not heat. Filters are clean, jets work, no light installed. On ciruit board, green light for “Lim” , red light for heat, no other lights. Just bought house one month ago, no manuals.
Spa is a Bengal. Have noticed a symbol (can’t tell what it is) on the screen then most of screen goes blank with just the power light on. Is there a vacation mode or something like that?
Thanks for your help.
ANSWER : Spa’s are such that so many components can become faulty when left unattended to over a period of time. But most likely what your unit needs is just a regular service to clean up its systems and also ensure there are no leakages in the pipes. Bengal is a wonderful and durable product. The problem could range from low power supply to wires being eaten up by rats and other pests. Also it could be burnt out heaters thereby the inability to produce heat. The indicator on the screen could mean various things but the screen going blank usually would be caused by poor power supply. If you dont have the technical know how refer an expert to check it out and ensure the exact problem of the above mentioned is wrong with it before repairs can be carried out.Hope this solution has been helpful?

Had entire spa light replaced 2 mos ago. Now color does not work. Light is “stuck” on white. Doesn’t seem that the color wheel is moving. Service that replaced light only gave me 30 day warranty on light. It was installed 12-13-2010. Any ideas on what to try?
ANSWER : You haven’t said what exact model you have so i can’t be sure but , in the models with rotating screens, the first part that fails is the coloured wheel – the heat deforms it , it bends out of shape and blocks the rotation. You will need to open the system and see if you can rotate the wheel by hand. If you can’t you need a new wheel. If the wheel can be moved by hand you will need to check if the motor gets powered when you try to change colours. If it gets powered but it doesn’t move then the motor is dead. If it doesn’t then the control board is faulty – replace the failed part.

I have a wildwood le 25bhbs and the only towing lights working are my signal lights. can’t get running lights or brake lights to work. I saw where it looked like the towing harness may have been pinched. So I repaired that, but, they still do not work. Any ideas? Is there a fuse somewhere I need to check? Do I need to hook the trailer up to my trailer hitch before they will work? Is there a wiring diagram or repair manual somewhere I can get? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
ANSWER : There should be an inline fuse, check that first.

My swimming pool. I have just had my fifth IC 40 Intellichlor chlorine generator installed in 4 years at a cost of over $900 today. Each one has worked for no more than 8 months. The first three were replaces under three year warranty, the fourth by a factory rep and I bought the fifth today. The first three all failed with Flow Chk PCB error message. The fourth just stopped working on Sunday, no power or lights. A local Pentair warranty person, whom I paid a Service Call, unplugged the unit, opened the small power center cover, showed me the green light indicating that there was power, plugged in a new IC 40 which worked immediately (as did the other four). I asked if I should replace the power center and he said that it’s basically just a transformer and is working fine. We do get occasional power blips that make the clocks on microwaves, etc blink, but I thought that the power center essentially isolates the cell from these. I do have a Florida Power and Light surge protector on the electrical box that brings power into the house. I have now talked to the pool builder, two Pentair warranty repairmen and one factory rep. I am at a loss. They all tell me they have no idea why these units fail after less than a year. This last IC 40 was installed 3/24/2010, version 2.0 and now failed in less than 5 months. Should I replace the power center that the IC 40 plugs into. Any other suggestions. I have been told that this is the best chlorinator. I don’t want to keep replacing units. By the way, each unit had been spotless inside. I keep the water chemicals and salt levels at ideal levels. The units have never worked long enough to get dirty inside. The power center is connected to an Intellitouch control system outside with an indoor control panel. Last time I called Pentair North Carolina and got some smart alec tech person that had no suggestions. Please Help if you can.
ANSWER : I’ve had the same experiance. On my fifth one as well. Fail every year. No idea why.
