Experienced athletes share their insights in answering this question:
It could cause some tearing if it is abused. What i did on my trampoline was took a lighter and melted the rim of the hole to melt the fibers together so that it doesnt fray. Do this and it will be fine.

## How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

Dig the hole

Dig out 10 inches of soil evenly across the entire hole. Then dig an inner hole in the middle that is 2ft or 24 inches less in diameter than the trampoline size in a bowl shape to a depth of 36 inches (about 3ft) for 12ft and 14ft trampolines and 30 inches (about 2ft 6 inches) for 8ft and 10ft trampolines.

As a general rule, the hole for your inground trampoline should be approximately three feet deep in the centre, (sometimes not just as deep for smaller trampolines). Most inground or flatground trampolines will require a bowl-shaped hole, deepest in the centre and shallow at the edges.
The 12-foot trampoline is big enough for two kids to jump around and do flips, but you start pushing its limits when adding more than one adult. When it comes to heavier adults, 14-foot trampolines might be a better option.
12ft Trampoline: It`s 366 cm in Diameter. 14ft Trampoline: It`s 427 cm in Diameter.
It is now important that you dig to the deepest point of the trampoline. This deepest point should be in the exact centre of the hole to be dug. Start digging here and try to dig your way out from a deep point. This way, you will have a good result and you don`t need to reinforce the wall unnecessarily.
If you are looking at a slightly larger 12ft trampoline, you will need a 28.4ft area to make space for the trampoline in your garden. But if you look at one which comes with a net, then you will only need to allow for 15ft of space.
The surface area of a 12 ft trampoline is normally about 86~93 square feet, which allows almost a person of any weight or a family with 2 kids jumping on it.
Wait until your child is older than six years before getting a trampoline. Make sure that only one child uses the trampoline at a time. Always supervise your child on the trampoline. Younger children are more prone to serious injury.
If there is only one or two children jumping on the trampoline each time, a 12 Foot Trampoline is also big enough for 3 kids. 12 FT Trampolines are also somewhat one of the most popular trampolines.
The sharp nails, which many animals have, can damage your trampoline jumping mat and trampoline safety pad. Think of a tear in your safety pads or a hole in your bouncing surface. Repairing or replacing these trampoline parts can be an expensive joke, so pay attention!
Safer. In-ground trampolines are generally safer than normal trampolines because they`re flush-to-the-ground not raised above the ground accessed by a ladder. Parents have peace of mind when they let their kids loose on an in-ground trampoline.
Trench with a Mattock

A mattock is designed for digging narrow trenches—just right for running cable or pipe. Swing it like an ax to cut into hard soil, and then lift out the dirt with the wide blade. The chopping blade slices through roots. Wrap tape around the shaft to gauge the depth of your trench.

It is now important that you dig to the deepest point of the trampoline. This deepest point should be in the exact centre of the hole to be dug. Start digging here and try to dig your way out from a deep point. This way, you will have a good result and you don`t need to reinforce the wall unnecessarily.
An in-ground trampoline can be aesthetically pleasing and seem a lot safer than the typical installation. In fact, one of the top customer questions asked is “Isn`t getting in-ground trampoline installed safer than having it above ground?” The short answer is `No.
A NASA study found that trampoline jumping is 68% more efficient than running or jogging. In fact, it proved to be the best exercise to rebuild the lost bone tissue of astronauts whose weightless state caused them to lose 15% of their bone mass.
In order to place a normal trampoline underground, you would need to dig a hole large enough to bury the legs of the trampoline. You can`t do this with a shovel over a two-day weekend. The walls of the hole will weaken and the surrounding soil will erode and fall into the pit.
When space is limited, or the children are younger, our range of 8ft trampoline for sale is a perfect fit. But it will still comfortable handle older kids and adults.
8-10 foot: For small gardens, a round trampoline measuring less than ten feet in diameter is a good option. Just remember you should only ever have one child on an 8ft or 10ft trampoline at a time, and be mindful of the weight limit. 12 foot: This is considered a medium size for round trampolines.

For a 12- or 14-foot (3.5- to 4-meter) trampoline, for example, dig a 3-foot (1-meter) hole. For trampolines that are 8 to 10 feet (2.5 to 3 meters) in diameter, a hole that is 2.5 feet (. 75 meters) deep is sufficient.

Need to fix regulator for coleman stove 5410708
ANSWER : Just where the regulator attaches to the burner there is a small nut that may be loose. If you look closely at this and turn the regulator (stove off and hose detached!) you may see the nut hat turns easily. Tighten it and make sure the regulator does not rotate too freely, but still turns to adjust when attached to the hose or the smaller gas cartridge, if using that. Test carefully after this.

We found that we had a broken Shear Pin in our Thrust Nut. When we tried to replace it, we find that there is about a 1 inch difference between the hole on the whiffletree and the hole on the Thrust Nut.
What would have caused this and how do we adjust the whiffletree so the holes match?
ANSWER : Why don’t you put something in the hole to substitute for the shear pin and try to pull the shaft in the direction you need to line it up? It sounds like it could use the thrust nut to maintain the spacing to some degree.

Depending on the size of the shearpin hole you may be able to use rope or wire to form a loop and pull on the loop.

Mar 12, 2010 – Could it be the check valve? I took it off and the flap appears to be working correctly. This well has been here a long time. Never given me any problems. I do have galvenized couplers on the discharge and intake sides. Old. Could these be leaking even though they show no sign of water? The discharge is able to hold 30 pounds easily overnight. I do not hear any vacuum in the intake when I take it off. Could the pipe to the well have a leak? I know I would have to insert a sleeve bnut I do not want to go through the hassle if I do not have to. I had put on a brand new pump from the hardware store that did the same thing so I think that would elliminate the pump as being the problem.
Mar 12, 2010 – I have a 3/4hp flotec convertible jet pump. It is able to hold 30lbs pressure on the discharge side as the primie easily for 24 hours. It is not able to pull water from the well whcih has been here for years. i disconnected it for the winter and rehooked it up. The galvanized couplers on the discharge and pump side are old but do not appear to be leakeing as I taped them well. The check valve seems to be functioning well as I took it off and the flap works correctly. The well is not pulling watrer. there does not appear to be a vacuum on the check vale when I losen it. could the check valve be bad? I am aware I might have to resleeve the well, but do not want to hassle with this if I do not have to. I want to eliminate everything else first. i put another brand new pump on it to see if it was that. That partiuclar pump which was the same thng did not work either.
