How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?
We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :
You simply mount the dartboard to the wall at the correct height and you`re good to go. You can use a dartboard backing or cabinet for this if you`re worried about damaging the siding. If it`s an old barn or something, just throw the board up there and don`t worry too much about doing any damage.
Dartboards can go outside but you should never leave them there. You could attach a dartboard to a sturdy stand and have it set-up in the garden but when you have finished playing, you should take it down and place it indoors.
The layout of a darts board is a circle cut into 20 equal arcs, with an inner and outer bullseye at the centre, and two rings, one halfway and one on the outer rim of the circle, representing treble and double scores respectively.
The official regulation dartboard height to hang it on a wall is five feet eight inches from the floor to the center of the bullseye. In addition, the height is the same whether you use a steel tip, soft tip, or electronic dartboard.
Use wall anchors to secure your dartboard if you can`t find studs. If you don`t have a stud finder or if there are no studs where you want to hang your board, you will need to use wall anchors to attach your cabinet to the wall.
For clarity`s sake, here is the way the numbers on a modern, standard dartboard are organized, from the top position going clockwise: 20, 1, 18, 4, 13, 6, 10, 15, 2, 17, 3, 19, 7, 16, 8, 11, 14, 9, 12, 5.
Checked Bags: Yes
Any sharp objects in checked bags should be sheathed or securely wrapped to prevent injury to baggage handlers and inspectors.
darts, indoor target game played by throwing feathered darts at a circular board with numbered spaces. The game became popular in English inns and taverns in the 19th century and increasingly so in the 20th. A standard dartboard, with point values and scoring rings noted.
The electronic dartboard is smaller, with a diameter of 15.5 inches, and has an attached power source that reads the darts as they hit the board and displays the score on an LCD display. This can be more accurate than regular boards, depending on the quality of the board.
they`re made from polyester film which first winds through printing rollers. some print jobs involve just one basic color while others layer many colors to build up a design in the world of darts the wings are known as flights. a machine cuts out the flight shapes.
Dartboards are made up of compressed sisal fibers glued to a backing board held together by an outer metal band. The main advantage of this type of construction is that when you remove a dart from the board, the hole will heal behind it.
There are two types of dartboards: the soft plastic tip dartboard (electronic) and the dartboard for steel points (traditional).
Most modern dart boards are made from Sisal. Sisal dartboards should never be exposed to water or moisture. Not one component of your dartboard will benefit from getting wet. The sisal will absorb the moisture unevenly and cause your dartboard to look like a mountain range.
The moisture, salt (from sweat) and oil on your hands can corrode your dart barrels over time, and make them slippery. Cleaning your darts will also give you better grip by removing the slippery feeling and the grimy particles filling-in the hollows. To make your darts go the distance, clean them regularly.
Smaller flights cause less drag meaning the darts move through the air more quickly. Larger flights have the opposite effect causing more drag and slowing the dart down. It is advisable to use larger flights if your throw is gentler or if you throw with a lob.
The official distance is 237cm (7 feet, 9.25 inches) from the front of your dartboard to the back of the throw line (aka Oche or toe line).
Yes. Darts is a sport. England, United States, Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium have recognized darts as an official sport. Although it is possible to play as a hobby (as with most sports), darts requires players to be well-aimed and to compete at a high level.
Standard height from the floor to the bullseye on the dartboard is 5 feet 8 inches, while the oche (distance between the front of the board and the toeline) should measure 7 feet 9.25inches.
There is a camera around the dart board. The dart board takes pictures to determine the location of the dart landing. The camera passes the image sensor and uploads the image to the host.
Cabinet dimensions are 37″ x 30.25″ x 7.25″.
While darts is not a physically strenuous activity in its nature, it does pose some physical challenges – hand-eye coordination, improved aim, consistency, and muscle discipline. For all these reasons, darts does fit the official definition of the word sport and passes the test.
Darts are a dressmaker`s punctuation marks. They are a technique used for shaping garments by curving straight fabric to the body. Darts are created by stitching a long, thin pinch to a point, which is then pressed down to one side.

Is it a stand up or a wall mount dartboard?
Step one: Will it turn on? (stand up) if yes go to step two
If nothing is working verify your AC power cable, (the cable coming from your outlet to the machine) is in good working condition, check for cuts/abrasions/sharp bends/knicks in the wire. If nothing seems out of the ordinary you could then try a different cable. The cable itself is a generic cord and you probably have one lying around somewhere, unlike your cell phone chargers which are not at all interchangeable.
Step two: Will it boot up? (stand up)
In older standup dartboards like the galaxy 1 or “bull shooter”, a lot of times if it will not boot up or keeps resetting it is because the contacts get dirty over time. Carefully disconnect the main and or secondary line voltage feeds going from the power supply to the motherboard. be sure to slowly pull the connector(s) from both sides as to not bend the small fragile prongs behind it.
Then, using a very fine sandpaper, were talking something smooth to the touch, such as 1000 grit or a piece of standard 8”/11” copy paper, gently wipe off the contacts. (small metal prongs on the motherboard). There will more than likely be brown carbon residue left on your piece of paper.
Note: You would not want to use something abrasive such as regular sand paper or a file; because you will likely have to do this periodically over the life of your dart board.
Step three: Is the monitor/screen not working?
Check your connection coming directly from your power supply. there should be plugs, one plug should be going to the monitor while the other goes to the motherboard. try unplugging the cord coming from the monitor and plugging it and checking for defects before plugging it back in.
Step four: connections, connections, connections.
Follow all your wires coming off or going to the motherboard and the back of the dart board. Anywhere you see can see a plug or connection verify its tight and follow all your wires while scanning for defects. especially with small wires even the tiniest of knicks or exposed copper should be cut and spliced and wrapped in electrical tape to prevent moisture from corroding the connections.
All i can say about wall mounted electric dart boards is they are cheap and can be damaged very easily. Often times if you threw a dart hard enough it would be more than enough to do some permanent damage or cause malfunctions such as no sound or distorted sounds coming from speakers. All I can personally recommend short of taking it apart and looking at everything is going to walmart and buying another one for 30ish dollars.
