Toy retailer The Entertainer has withdrawn loom band charms from sale after they were found to contain high levels of cancer-causing chemicals. Tests showed one charm contained 40% of banned phthalates, a chemical that makes plastic flexible, with EU law stating 0.1% is the legal limit.
Rainbow Loom is a plastic tool used to weave colorful rubber and plastic bands (called loom bands) into decorative items such as bracelets and charms.
Rubber bands create friction and rub the hair follicle in an isolated area, and this is what causes damage to the cuticle layers, ” MacCorquadale explains. “Over time, this friction wears away the cuticle layers and weakens the hair structure, causing irreversible damage.
Not just for girls, check out these fun Rainbow Loom Patterns for Boys! Did you know that the rainbow loom was created by a Dad in his garage? Since then it is one fad that keeps on growing and has definitely crossed gender lines.

Some of the easiest looms to use are peg looms, like the Lilli Loom, Easel Weaver, or School Loom from Schacht. These looms have rows of pegs or teeth that the warp can wrap around; the pegs hold the warp ends tightly while we weave a weft-faced tapestry image.
Why do my rubber bands break? It is normal to have about 3% defective bands within each bag of bands due to the normal manufacturing process. Please check your loom and hook to make sure that there are no sharp edges that may cut the bands.

There is no popular Rainbow Loom or Silly Bandz-equivalent in existence today because of the increase in technology use among kids. Arts and crafts simply aren`t as popular as they once were, and even a pandemic-fueled surge in at-home activities did not encourage a resurgence of the Rainbow Loom.
Choosing a traditional elastic material is great if you like a tight hold, while softer materials such as polyester, microfiber, and stretch are best if you are trying to reduce frizz or tension. And those with more fragile hair should almost always opt for silk.
It`s not that headbands are bad for your hair — in general, they`re not. It`s how you wear them and what they`re made of that matter more. Problems can arise when a headband (or hair tie) is too tight. For example, elastic headbands can tug the strands, causing breakage along the hairline.
But your hair ties can also be causing split ends and other damage! As we`ve discussed, our hair ties can cause damage if we wear them too tight or if we rush through putting our hair up. And, materials really do make a difference. Synthetic plastics can lead to snags, kinks, and splits.

I have a TX500, never been used (just out of the box) and had to get an electrician to my home for this problem. It will start rolling but quits in a few seconds. The electrician believes that it is a problem in the sensor that rides at the belt. There is only one sensor in the pulley; he thinks that perhaps there should be two as there is a hole placement opposite the one that is in there. When the belt quits, it goes to a number 3 on the board which he thinks is the sensor as well. If he is correct, where do we get another magnet to place there? If he is not correct, please offer help. We did not get a owners manual in the box and surely could use one; where can we get one? Please help…thankyou
ANSWER : Hello,I believe the best thing to do at this point is to look for a way to get the manual of the device, this will give a full guide and better understanding on how to fix this problem.Check to search for the manual of the device, the link provides almost all manuals to all device.Take care.

My daughter has a sweet pea scooter that had been blowing fuses and the motor got hot. Im sure the motor is shot. but my question is can anyone tell me if the motor would be the only thing I need to c
ANSWER : Find out whether it is 6 volts or 12 volts and there should be two wires that feed the motor either cut or splice and attach another set of wires with fuse in the line (simular to jumper cables) raise the back tire so it does not touch the ground and place jump wires to the negative and positive of the battery. If the motor moves in either direction without blowing the fuse the motor is good if not then its bad. Uses the same amperage fuse

ANSWER : If its what you are saying then it is a winchester model 1873. if it is and is in original condition and you havent tried to “clean” it up you need to get in touch with the people at as they would be the best source of info. oh and please turn off the caps lock.

Mercury 4 hp outboard engine wont go into gear

A dealer should have the assembly chart for easy fix

I continually get code 90 (low/NO flow) from my 8111. I have disassembled, cleaned EVERYTHING, including the inlet port AT the pump (remind everybody to check this as stuff gets past the filter basket and will plug the pump inlet).

There is No air in the system and I get superb pressure at the outlet, yet I still get code 90. I again removed the flow sensor and put my ohm meter across the flow sensor terminals and activated the flapper and measured an open circuit. I used a heavier magnet to see if I could get make the internals of the sensor move to get an ohm reading, but I get nothing but an open circuit, ie: no measured resistance.

Can I simply bypass the defective flow sensor to trick the 8111 to think it has full flow without damaging the ‘brain’ of the system.?

Intex corp is useless at these questions. They have been out of stock on this sensor for months and are telling me “two weeks” for two months and now it’s “end of August” which I do not believe. Meanwhile I am making no chlorine while the 90 code is showing.

I love the 8111, this is the first problem I’ve had with it, and I’m frustrated that I can not get such an important part from them.

Thanks for listening!

ANSWER : Have you been able to find a solution to this problem. I am having the same issue.

Kawasaki 550sx won’t start
ANSWER : Souds as if the starter is faulty. Use a volt meter to check voltage at the starter while holding the start button. If you get a battery voltage reading, then the starter is shot.

2007 Yamaha Grizzly 660. As soon as i turn the key on the engine temp light is on. Is this a tell tail for something wrong? if so what is wrong. Light comes on before i even start it. Also a couple of the lights for the shifter (to tell you what gear you are in) are not working. i believe F,N,R.
ANSWER : Http://

OK above is your service manual, so you can see whats what. have a look through the manual about the temp light for a start.

Now, with that light, now, you say it is ON even B4 you start? well OK, BUT, does it go out after starting? If YES then it is nothing to worry about, it is simply the way it starts.

Now IF it doesn’t go out, then two things maybe wrong, One, the “Sender” unit maybe falsely indicating. Replacement is only fix. Two, the sensor is fine, but the “Electronics” are “Faulty” and “Seeing” something that isn’t. again replacement is only fix.

Now you also indicate that there are “Other” lights that aren’t working?, now I wonder IF they are all linked? perhaps you have damage to an area of the wiring, and they are damaged? with one wire(s) sort of cut, disconnected, and the other say shorting to earth and making the temp light, light? Anyway something to think about and maybe investigate?

Usually they abrade where they go through the frame, or perhaps there was damage during manufacture etc?
