Regulation size shuffleboard tables (also known as tournament tables) are 22 feet long by 20 inches wide. The cradle, which is the narrow area surrounding the playing surface, adds inches to these dimensions, so the actual size is around 23 feet long and 31 inches wide.
Surface Materials

Poplar, North American Maple Wood, White Maple, Russian Birch, and Canadian Soft Maple are other materials used for shuffleboard tables. Maple, birch, oak, and mahogany are the best materials.

Shuffleboard tables are measured by the outside over- all length of the cabinet, not the board, so a 14 foot table is exactly 14 feet long.
Regulation size shuffleboard tables are 22 feet in length and 20 inches wide. Before you get ahead of yourself, measure out the dimensions where you plan to place it. Set the boundaries so you can visualize the table in your basement or game room.
Shuffleboard tables are made of wood and the best tables will feature solid North American maple or white maple. These are going to be the most expensive but they are also going to be less apt to warp and shift with heat and humidity. They will also be less likely to dent or be damaged by the pucks during game play.
Not all pucks are created equal, though—there are two different sizes. Medium ones measure in at 2 1/8 inches and work best on 9`, 12`, and 14` shuffleboard tables. Large pucks, on the other hand, measure in at 2 5/16 inches, making them ideal for 16`, 18`, 20`, and 22` shuffleboard tables.
Polyurethane is, essentially, liquid plastic that hardens. It is the most popular coating for shuffleboard tables of today.
To maximize the quality of your plays, you`ll need to use a silicone spray to go over the entire shuffleboard table as well. Just like proper waxes, there are special silicone sprays you should use that are also provided in maintenance kits or online with other shuffleboard accessories.
A 12-foot shuffleboard table will have a playing surface that`s around 10.5 feet to 11 feet long and 16 inches wide. Shuffleboard tables that are longer than 12 feet normally have a playing surface width of 20 inches.
This shuffleboard has the official playing length of 2 meters, height of 4.5 cm and has the width is 41 cm which is the same as the boards used annually in the shuffleboard world championships in Holland.
The Sjoelbak board should be placed on top of a table and the game is mostly played while standing but can also be played sitting down. The entire game consists of a wooden board approx. 16” wide by 79” long with a 4-slot portal bar and 30 pucks.
Imagine if you had to turn side ways and walk through the door. Then after you would be side ways behind the shuffleboard you would be bent over the cradle to make your shots. This is why we generally recommend that you allow 2 foot behind your table and a wall.
In order to decrease friction, the table is periodically sprinkled liberally with tiny, salt-like beads of silicone (often referred to as shuffleboard wax even though silicone is not a wax, or sometimes as shuffleboard sand, or shuffleboard cheese, due to its visual similarity to grated cheese).
Though there are many differences between table shuffleboard and deck shuffleboard, both kinds are a great source of fun for all ages.
Play. The Players (or teams of two players, one at each end) take turns going first during a game. Flip a coin to decide who plays yellow and who plays black; yellow starts the first end. Players slide disks alternately.
Penalties & Technicalities. If your puck doesn`t pass your foul line, it`s removed from the table. This is called being in the “illegal” zone. If your puck falls into the alley, the rules of shuffleboard say you have to sit out the rest of the round.
Outdoor shuffleboard court dimensions & surface materials

Shuffleboard is played on a court that is 6 feet wide by 39 feet long, with 6 feet 6 inch standing room at either end. It should be on a flat surface that allows the discs to easily slide.

Shuffleboard wax, also known as sand, dust, powder, cheese, salt, sawdust, and more, is a material that`s sprinkled on table shuffleboards to decrease friction between the puck and the table, preserve the tables thickness, and increase the speed of weights as they glide across the table.

A well-made shuffleboard table should have a slight concave. Climatic adjusters are installed to ensure that weights do not fall off the side of the board and into the gutter.

Need the wire diagram to rewire my Ariens lawnmover to bypass the safety switch. It is Ariens GT-19 model # 931026 Serial # 001463.
Can you help? It is an old Ariens mower but still runs good but now I need to bypass the safety switch in order to run it any longer. The local Ariens dealer said I need to go through the internet and get the wire diagram as they cannot give it to me directly. They told me I needed the wire diagram and the part involved in bypassing the safety switch. Hope this is all the information you need to help me.

Thank you. Roger Fielitz

ANSWER : Here is owner manual:http://apache.ariens.com/manuals/030305C.pdfusually the switch is behind the ignition, sometimes at the N position of gearshift, just look for a switch with one wire coming in & one going out (usually the same color); disconnect the two wires & jumper them together to bypass the switch. Looks like yours has one under the seat.

ANSWER : You will have to buy a different barrel for the A5, I would suggest ansgear.com, rockstartactical.com, or ebay. Make sure that you get the right threads along with an apex capeable front. My daughter has a sweet pea scooter that had been blowing fuses and the motor got hot. Im sure the motor is shot. but my question is can anyone tell me if the motor would be the only thing I need to c
ANSWER : Find out whether it is 6 volts or 12 volts and there should be two wires that feed the motor either cut or splice and attach another set of wires with fuse in the line (simular to jumper cables) raise the back tire so it does not touch the ground and place jump wires to the negative and positive of the battery. If the motor moves in either direction without blowing the fuse the motor is good if not then its bad. Uses the same amperage fuse

I have a table top plainer i need to gauge new
ANSWER : Yes, there is only one way to do this right, or else you will have speed bumps in your wood. There is a gauge that rides on the knife drum, it is shaped like the letter C, has a bump in the middle, when you are setting the knives, don’t tighten them up, just snug them, take your gauge over the edge of the knife, you want it to just touch it, not bump it or pull it, just shave it, snug up the keeper, go to the other end of the same knife, do the same thing, then go back, then go to the middle, then when it looks good, torque it down. Now do the other knife the same way. Make sure you torque them down, double check it. Use a block of wood to tap them in, and the lifter screw to pull them out. Those little 2 edged knifes are not worth diddly, you want a big, one inch knife in there. Something solid. Hopefully that is what you have. You can buy the gauge at woodworker’s supply.
