Shuffleboard tables are made of wood and the best tables will feature solid North American maple or white maple. They will also be less likely to dent or be damaged by the pucks during game play.
Not all pucks are created equal, though—there are two different sizes. Medium ones measure in at 2 1/8 inches and work best on 9`, 12`, and 14` shuffleboard tables. Large pucks, on the other hand, measure in at 2 5/16 inches, making them ideal for 16`, 18`, 20`, and 22` shuffleboard tables.
