Call them and ask for the frequencies

How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

You can go on the Internet to RadioReference.com, which will give you frequencies for your own hometown. You can also talk to anyone who`s used a scanner near where you live.
Frequency bands received include:

87.3–107.9 MHz (Commercial FM) 108–136.99166 MHz (Aircraft) 137–174 MHz (VHF Hi) 380–512 (UHF Bands)

5850-5925 MHz band

All other public safety channels are licensed by the FCC under varying rules and administrative procedures.

One of the best ways to follow police activity is to use scanners and listen to the radio chatter. This may sound legally questionable, but the Communications Act of 1934 established that radio airwaves are public property. It`s well within your rights to listen.
In Europe and Africa (defined as International Telecommunication Union (ITU) region 1) and in Australia and New Zealand, it spans from 87.5 to 108 megahertz (MHz) – also known as VHF Band II – while in the Americas (ITU region 2) it ranges from 88 to 108 MHz.
Try a police scanner website.

The best way to find an online police scanner for a particular city is to search the web for that city and “live police scanner.” You can also use any of the following sites to browse police radio channels and listen. Some popular options: Broadcastify (US) OpenMHz (International)

The Analog Hand-held Radio Scanner 1010 from Whistler receives VHF Lo bands 29MHz-54MHz, Aircraft 108MHz-136.99166MHz, VHF Hi bands 137MHz-174MHz and UHF Bands 380MHz-512MHz.
This planning thrust was precipitated by the establishment of the 700 MHz public safety band.
Boise. Boise PD and Fire have migrated to the 700 MHz ICAWIN system.
Public safety radio systems (such as those used by police, firefighters and emergency medical technicians) operate in several portions of the 800 MHz band, which consists of spectrum at 806-824 MHz paired with spectrum at 851-869 MHz.
Band Usage

The military services use the 138-144 MHz band to support air-to-ground, air-to-air, and air-ground-air (AGA) tactical communications; air traffic control operations; LMR nets for sustaining base and installation infrastructure support; and for tactical training and test range support.

While it`s not a must-have app for your Android phone, a police scanner app comes in handy in some situations. These apps let you listen to the radio feeds of police, fire, and other emergency departments on your phone. You can learn about any criminal activity or emergency in your local area.
FM broadcasts

In Europe, channels can be on any multiple of 100KHz, even or odd. This means that a digital tuner from the USA will not tune European stations properly, resulting in distortion. Some tuner models are switchable between the two schemes, but these are rare.

Reception distance

VHF radio waves usually do not travel far beyond the visual horizon, so reception distances for FM stations are typically limited to 30–40 miles (50–60 km). They can also be blocked by hills and to a lesser extent by buildings.

Military aircraft also use a dedicated UHF-AM band from 225.0 to 399.95 MHz for air-to-air and air-to-ground, including air traffic control communication. This band has a designated emergency and guard channel of 243.0 MHz. Radio aeronautical navigation aids (navaids) use other frequencies.

Help! Just bought a Remington 30 06 for my grandson that has a Bushnell Sportview U4124 4-12power scope mounted on it. I would like to sight it in at 100 yards using a 180 grain shell but I don’t have the owners manual and I don’t understand an on line explanation that I found. This is the on line message: “You’ll see two horizontal crosshairs, put the top one on the animals back then zoom in until the bottom one is on his stomach. Look at the numbers on the zoom dial there should be three lines they are D – deer, E – elk and A – antelope. The numbers are the distance to the game, you then turn the external elevation knob or turret to the matching distance and shoot dead on. No need to hold over for bullet drop. The sad part will be if you didn’t get the other turrets that would have come with it as they are calibrated to different calibers and bullet weights”
I don’t understand how to set the elevation knob to 100yards when its lowest shown number is 150. If I need other turrets how or where can I get them? Thanks, a frustrated grandfather.
ANSWER : You can contact the Remington directly who will ship you a free users manual. Here is the company’s Contact Us details:

Need the wire diagram to rewire my Ariens lawnmover to bypass the safety switch. It is Ariens GT-19 model # 931026 Serial # 001463.
Can you help? It is an old Ariens mower but still runs good but now I need to bypass the safety switch in order to run it any longer. The local Ariens dealer said I need to go through the internet and get the wire diagram as they cannot give it to me directly. They told me I needed the wire diagram and the part involved in bypassing the safety switch. Hope this is all the information you need to help me.

Thank you. Roger Fielitz

ANSWER : Here is owner manual:http://apache.ariens.com/manuals/030305C.pdfusually the switch is behind the ignition, sometimes at the N position of gearshift, just look for a switch with one wire coming in & one going out (usually the same color); disconnect the two wires & jumper them together to bypass the switch. Looks like yours has one under the seat.

What if the puck lands mostly in a higher numbered column but slightly on the line of the lower number before it? Can I score it as a higher value since it is mostly in that number zone?
ANSWER : Unfortunately
not, a puck needs to land entirely in a zone for it to be awarded that point
value. If it rests between two zones,
