From the factory, the Mossberg 930 JM Pro has a 22-inch barrel that comes with a set of three Accu-Set tubes, including Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full tubes. The barrel has a ventilated rib and a fiber-optic front bead. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics mounts.
The Mossberg 930 SPX shotgun chambers both 2 3/4- and 3-inch 12-gauge shotshells. It can handle non-toxic shot and slugs.
And the 930 Pro has proven it can do both ever since the gun was introduced in 2016. Mossberg is better known for pump-actions—the 500 series is only second to the Remington 870 in number of guns sold—but has been making semi-auto shotguns since the 1980s.
Can I shoot slugs or buckshot through a “smoothbore” field barrel with Accu-Choke™ tubes? (500/505/535/9200/88/930 models) Yes, and with sabots or rifled slugs, the more “open” the choke tube, the better the accuracy (“Improved Cylinder” recommended.)
The Mossberg 930 is chambered for both 2-3/4” and 3” loads, and is steel shot compatible.
Given the low profile of shotgun bead sights, the Meosight III is a perfect fit for the Mossberg 930.
The good news is the Mossberg 930 is a very reliable weapon. Gas-operated shotguns tend not to be too finicky, and the 930 SPX is no different.
The 935 Magnum features a 3-1/2″ chamber, and a dual-vent gas system that cycles the full spectrum of waterfowl loads from heavy 2-3/4″ loads to the full range of 3″ and 3-1/2″ magnums. The gas system also aids in recoil reduction.
Shotguns depend on what you`re using them for. Your personal-defense shotgun will need at least 250 shotshellson hand, but if you use it for hunting, it`ll depend on what you`re after. For example, doves and ducks require far more ammo than hog or deer hunting.
The Mossberg 930 is gas operated, which means that some of the hot gases from the burning gunpowder are used to push a piston that operates the action, ejecting the spent hull and chambering a fresh shell. This gas action reduces the recoil felt by the shooter.
Barrels are not interchangeable between model numbers, gauge or capacity. 930TM and 935TM model barrels are interchangeable only with barrels of the same model, gauge and capacity.
It`s normally recommended that you use a cylinder or improved cylinder choke with slugs. You can even shoot rifled lead slugs through a full choke, but I wouldn`t press your luck with slugs made of copper or other materials. You will also see sabot (pronounced “SAY-bo”) slugs.

Need the wire diagram to rewire my Ariens lawnmover to bypass the safety switch. It is Ariens GT-19 model # 931026 Serial # 001463.
Can you help? It is an old Ariens mower but still runs good but now I need to bypass the safety switch in order to run it any longer. The local Ariens dealer said I need to go through the internet and get the wire diagram as they cannot give it to me directly. They told me I needed the wire diagram and the part involved in bypassing the safety switch. Hope this is all the information you need to help me.

ANSWER : Here is owner manual:http://apache.ariens.com/manuals/030305C.pdfusually the switch is behind the ignition, sometimes at the N position of gearshift, just look for a switch with one wire coming in & one going out (usually the same color); disconnect the two wires & jumper them together to bypass the switch. Looks like yours has one under the seat.

Help! Just bought a Remington 30 06 for my grandson that has a Bushnell Sportview U4124 4-12power scope mounted on it. I would like to sight it in at 100 yards using a 180 grain shell but I don’t have the owners manual and I don’t understand an on line explanation that I found. This is the on line message: “You’ll see two horizontal crosshairs, put the top one on the animals back then zoom in until the bottom one is on his stomach. Look at the numbers on the zoom dial there should be three lines they are D – deer, E – elk and A – antelope. The numbers are the distance to the game, you then turn the external elevation knob or turret to the matching distance and shoot dead on. No need to hold over for bullet drop. The sad part will be if you didn’t get the other turrets that would have come with it as they are calibrated to different calibers and bullet weights”
