You should go to the Burton website and purchase a new set of bindings, or check out eBay and Craigslist to see if anybody has some used parts/bindings for sale.

How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

The heel should fit snugly in the binding. A properly fit binding should allow the boot to flex, but not sway. If you have comfortable boots, and the bindings securely grip your boots with no extra play, then you have a good match.
Yes, the boots use the same construction as Burton`s standard boots so you can expect the same fit and feel you would find in a traditional Burton boot.
Fortunately, Burton bindings have a number of simple adjustments that you can make in order to set everything up just right. If you`re not techy, you might think you want to keep these adjustments at arm`s length, but it ain`t true.
Re:Flex binding baseplates from Burton are considered universal, allowing the bindings to be mounted on 3D, 4×2, and snowboards featuring The Channel.
A: yes, they will fit the older bindings.
You do not need Burton EST bindings to use the Burton Channel System. This is one of the amazing benefits of this system – most bindings are compatible or have an optional disc that will work.
you can change bindings by removing the binding mount entirely and replacing it with a new one. This requires drilling new holes in your skis.
This Araldite Epoxy Glue 2-Part Pack AW 2101 is ideal for ski and snowboard repairs thanks to its rapid bonding and viscous properties.
You don`t necessarily need to replace your bindings with your new boots unless they don`t fit into your old bindings. Adjusting a ski or snowboard binding to a new boot involves adjusting your footplate, ankle and toe straps, and high back position for the boot to fit correctly.
Snowboard boots should be your first acquisition when assembling a board-boots-binding setup. You want boots to fit comfortably so you can move on to bindings and create a great match.
In most cases, new snowboarders should start with a soft flexing binding to allow the most forgiveness when learning fundamental edge control. In contrast, an experienced snowboarder may lean towards a stiff binding for instant response and control.
Does the binding include mounting hardware and discs for any board? Yes, our Re:Flex™ baseplate comes with a mounting disc and hardware that can be used on any 4X4 board in the industry, as well as boards featuring The Channel®.
All bindings purchased directly from Burton (either from burton.com or a Burton flagship store) or an authorized dealer should include the necessary mounting hardware. Bindings purchased from a reseller may or may not include complete mounting hardware.
Normally, when looking at a snowboard from the side it will be flat—or two-dimensional—across the waist from edge-to-edge. Most snowboards on the market feature this 2D profile. Alternatively, snowboards that are contoured from edge-to-edge are referred to as 3D, based on the three-dimensional concave shape.
While we generally recommend split-specific bindings for splitboarding, any standard, non-EST snowboard binding that can accept a 4-hole disc can be mounted to a Burton splitboard with the appropriate hardware. Note: Burton pucks are required to mount any snowboard bindings to a Burton splitboard with The Channel.
Not all ski boots are compatible with all ski bindings. Using a setup with non-compatible components increases the probability that your skis will not release properly, creating the potential for serious injury. That`s why it is important to make sure your ski boots and bindings are compatible and safe.
Q: Can I mount new bindings on old skis? A: Yes, it is possible to install new bindings on skis that have already been drilled to accommodate different bindings. However, you will probably have to drill new holes in your skis to accommodate the new bindings.
Every Burton snowboard is waxed, sharpened, and ready-to-ride as soon as you take it out of the sleeve. With a factory wax, sharpened edges, and a fresh bevel, every board is finely tuned for immediate use on most terrain in most conditions.
If your have a Burton snowboard and you get yourself some sweet Nitro bindings with the mini disc your gonna need a set of these to fit them together.
When your snowboard starts to get worn out, it will take more energy on your part to do the same basic maneuvers. As such, when your board starts to lack pop, it`s time to start thinking about getting a new one. Another good indicator that your snowboard needs replacing is that its camber or rocker begins to diminish.
If the board flexes like normal, you may be able to seal up the damage and ride until something worse happens. If there is grinding or any kind of unusual resistance, then chances are your gear is damaged to the core and needs to be replaced as soon as possible.
Snowboard bindings are always in demand; if yours are in good condition, you can sell them. Alternatively, you can donate or gift them to someone who can`t afford a new pair. You can also use parts such as the straps to repair other bindings. You can also use the bindings for some DIY work.
Bindings Average Lifetime

Some manufacturers indicate a lifespan of 50 to 100 sessions for most bindings, while other brands advise switching pairs after 4-5 years. The truth is, it depends on how much and how hard you ride.

COMB, SPIRAL & THERMAL BINDING. These are the three techniques commonly used when binding short-run books.

Need the wire diagram to rewire my Ariens lawnmover to bypass the safety switch. It is Ariens GT-19 model # 931026 Serial # 001463.
Can you help? It is an old Ariens mower but still runs good but now I need to bypass the safety switch in order to run it any longer. The local Ariens dealer said I need to go through the internet and get the wire diagram as they cannot give it to me directly. They told me I needed the wire diagram and the part involved in bypassing the safety switch. Hope this is all the information you need to help me.

Thank you. Roger Fielitz

ANSWER : Here is owner manual:http://apache.ariens.com/manuals/030305C.pdfusually the switch is behind the ignition, sometimes at the N position of gearshift, just look for a switch with one wire coming in & one going out (usually the same color); disconnect the two wires & jumper them together to bypass the switch. Looks like yours has one under the seat.

Spark plug wire boot grounding out on coil, 96 outback 2.5 automatic, just put new spark plug wires, new spark plugs, and new coil on. ran great for two weeks, now spark is jumping out of boot at coil on one wire, put old coil back on and still does it in the same spot. replaced wires again, and still does it in the same spot. seems to do it only under a load. Is my new spark plug on that cylinder bad? Does the coil need some insulation under it? It is the coil that sits right on top of the motor. Any ideas? thanks.
ANSWER : Sparks are high voltage, and will always follow the path of least resistance. If you can visibly see a spark (whether in a lighted area, or in the dark), that means either that a plug wire (or coil wire) is open (non conductive), or your have a carbon track on the surface where the spark can be seen, but most likely you have BOTH problems!

If you have an ohmmeter, check the resistance of each wire involved, particularly spark plug wires … which means you must be able to connect to both ends of each wire at the same, and hopefully, FLEX those wires, to be sure they don’t have a break inside that is intermittent (comes and goes)!

I need new canvas on my coleman newport. Can you
ANSWER : Anyone who does boat cover repairs…a canvas expert, can create new tent fabric from using the old stuff as a pattern. We found such a person at a marina sales department. We had to replace our boat cover twice and that was the least expensive and best job! We replaced our Coleman canvas once and it was several hundred dollars back in the 80s at the local Coleman dealer in Dayton OH

ANSWER : If you just need the cord — most hardware stores do carry replacement cord ( sold by the foot ),, if you look in the chainsaw department you should be able to find the size that you need. as soon as you have the cord you can re spool the winding unit and this will restore the pull start function.
you can also buy the cord at your local lawn and garden shops, snowmobile shops or chainsaw shops.
