The reel will not cast line.
Possible Cause: Spool empty of line or insufficient line length. Solution: Fill spool with new line or replace with new wound spool. Possible Cause: Line tangled behind spinnerhead. Solution: Remove front cover and spinnerhead assembly to untangle line.
A reel spool is a large diameter mandrel used for winding and possibly storing large rolls of paper board and tissue. More and more mills are winding on cores (10″, 12″ 14″, 16″ on up) right on the tissue & paper board paper machines.

Penn Spin Reel will not lock after casting
ANSWER : On the front of the spool there is a device to turn to set the drag. Torn it tighter and tighten it until slightly below the breaking point of your fishing line. It isn’t a critical adjustment, it just keeps your line from breaking while trying to land a fish.

I have a mitchell riptide 80 spinning reel. I lost the screws and parts that hold the bail to the reel. I need a manual to show me the parts that I need to get. I also need the manual to show me exploded views so that I can clean and do maintainance on it.

I have the penn Senator 15L and lately the reel when over 200 yards of Line goes out then I start to reel it in the reel starts to Slip and no line can be reeled in? Do you have a solution? Thanks
ANSWER : The weight of that much line is caausing the drag to slip. you need to tighten the drag up some more. hope this helps

How to strip down a pflueger supreme reel. i need to know how to undo the handle from my pflueger supreme reel so i can get the side cover off. i need to change the pawl, and the pawl axle
ANSWER : On the new Pflueger Supreme ( which I own one of) tighten the drag down ( just snug it down) PUSH IN ON THE DRAG STAR, TURN HANDLE; COUNTER CLOCK WISE! Handle will back off…you must keep the drag star compressed until you reach a point it will no longer engage…..DO NOT LOSE THE SPRING behind the drag star. Good Luck.

Need the wire diagram to rewire my Ariens lawnmover to bypass the safety switch. It is Ariens GT-19 model # 931026 Serial # 001463.
Can you help? It is an old Ariens mower but still runs good but now I need to bypass the safety switch in order to run it any longer. The local Ariens dealer said I need to go through the internet and get the wire diagram as they cannot give it to me directly. They told me I needed the wire diagram and the part involved in bypassing the safety switch. Hope this is all the information you need to help me.

ANSWER : Here is owner manual:http://apache.ariens.com/manuals/030305C.pdfusually the switch is behind the ignition, sometimes at the N position of gearshift, just look for a switch with one wire coming in & one going out (usually the same color); disconnect the two wires & jumper them together to bypass the switch. Looks like yours has one under the seat.
