I have an older pop-up camper made by Skamper. The cable system is getting harder to operate, and don’t want to have a problem raising or lowering top while far away from home on a camping trip. Is there a distributor for cable repair kits for a Skamper pop-up? Also a manual available?

The battery on a pop up camper is charged in two ways: through the use of a generator or by being connected to an external power source. Pop up campers that are equipped with generators will have a charging system that kicks in automatically when the generator is running.

We recommend white lithium grease. You should do this weekly. A simple walk around your car lift for a safety check is easy, yet rarely done. Make sure there is nothing in the tracks or carriage (shop rags, tools, cardboard, etc.)
Properly maintained deep-cycle batteries should last for 6 or more years. Unfortunately, some RV owners replace RV batteries every year or two. Extending battery life is not difficult; it just requires some basic care & maintenance.
The answer is usually yes, you can run your RV converter without a battery. However, you should always check with your manufacturer, make sure you disconnect correctly, replace the battery as soon as possible, and avoid towing until that new battery is installed.
How many watts does a pop-up camper use? Pop-up campers typically consume between 1500 and 3000 watts, while some air conditioners can boost that number as high as 3500. Your camper`s size and air conditioning or heating systems will determine this.

If you love tent camping but want a few more amenities, a pop-up camper is a great option. Pop-up campers are excellent towable RVs for folks that don`t want to upgrade to a truck or simply want to go RVing more affordably. Pop-ups are the most affordable RVs you`ll find, and they offer a lot for the money.

Bottom Line: You Don`t Need to Disconnect Your RV Batteries While Plugged Into Shore Power. Your RV`s electrical system can be a bit intimidating and it never hurts to have an abundance of caution. But in this case, there`s no need to worry.
Can I use a car battery in my RV? A car battery can be installed in your RV either as a starting battery or `house` battery, but its capacity may not be sufficient to last very long or perform well. Match the battery to the application for the best results.

I have a Scuba Pro X650a regulator. After having the unit serviced this winter I used it last month for the first time in St. Croix.
The first day of diving went fine. However, as the week progressed I noticed that when taking in a breath the regulator continued to trickle air at a very small rate. While not enough to be concerned about safety at this point it has become an annoyance both from the fact that bubbles continue to trickle past my ears and air usage has increased. This is an intermittent problem.
I had it looked at by 2 certified Scuba Pro Dive shops and they could not find anything wrong with it though one did lower the first stage pressure just to a bit to see if that would work. I also cycled the control lever position for “dive” and “surface” intervals to ensure that there were no sticking problems.
It does appear that the problem is intermittent and that it only occurs when the regulator is under water.
In addition is there a diagram in which I can use to troubleshoot this problem?
NOTE: this version of the X650 was not on the recall list of Scuba Pro.
Any help would be appreciated.

ANSWER : Strangely enough I had the exact same problem with mine.. I’m in the caribbean I love diving and spear gun fishing.. I had one of these a year ago with the same issue I actually wound up increasing the pressure to get it to work.. It wasnt muc use cause my air ran out at a faster rate. Was never able to fix ,, A buddy of mine had the same issue ,, wound up replacing the swivle vale and this helped for a week and then back to the same old .. I then changed to the Aqualung Mikron Regulator had no issues and it works great .. Quite frankly I think we had bad ones here but I’m not sure where you got yours. If you wish you can replace the swivle valve (most likely cause) but I’ll just change the unit and get another..

I can’t get the cable to stop popping off of the pulley underneath the bench press seat. Every time I try to lift weight using the bench press, quadricep curls, or anything that puts pressure on the cable connected to these exercises, the cable pops off the pulley. If you could show me how to get a diagram of how to run the cable or give me another solution to this problem, I would be deeply obliged.

ANSWER : Hello,I had same problem. I fixed it by taking plastic sides off using a long
phillips head screwdriver. Jay, you don’t have to take the sides off to
fix your problem. The sides come off only to untangle and rewind cables
on pulleys. Pull the cables all the way out. Have a helper pull out and
keep holding out the tension knob This is shown at the bottom of page
nine in the manual. With someone holding the tension knob out turn the
large pully located beneith the tension knob CLOCKWISE! I screwed mine
up by turning it counter-clockwise. This winds the handle to the top
and if you start with all the cable pulled off the pully, the cable
should then wind itself nicely back onto the pully. Once the handle is
all the way up, with the round ball on the cable jammed up against the
pully, then and only then let go of the tension knob and let it fall
back into place. If the handle falls down a few inches repeat this
proceedure but push lower pully a bit harder and try to turn tension
knob, while it is pulled out, in the opposite direction and it will
then click into place one notch tighter and should hold the black ball
on the cable firmly against the pulley. Let me know if this was helpful.wish you good luck,take care.

Machine will stop adjusting resistance. On start up the machine will usually work. I can go through the calibration procedure and it will calibrate and work normally for 4 or 5 resistance adjustments. It will then stop adjusting. It acts like there is a cable pulled and refuses to adjust, even though I am not getting the warning telling me to “Release cable”
I have modified the wiring harness so that the wires do not fall off from the stepper motor, so this is not the problem. If I shut the machine down and leave it for several minutes, it will come back and work normal again… for a while. I am wondering if there is a problem with the sensors that are detecting a cable pull? Is there a way to disable those sensors to see if that is the problem

ANSWER : I would think that your problem has possibly to do with a faulty power supply, component, see to my mind it is a thermal problem as it heats up,it goes faulty? The Voltage changes and it goes out of spec.. When left to cool, it then is OK… Usually, & from my experience this is a thermal problem. To see obtain some Freeze Spray, from radio Shack or similar,and spray components on the main power board, and others too, use it on any large heat sinked components and see if when you do this the fault clears. Then replace that component(s).
Or as you suggest the sensors that feed the inputs maybe with sensors though one has little option but to replace them and see if this clears the problem.

I bought a new mossberg 590 a1 shot gun a month ago, I love the gun but its having a couple of problems, the first problem is that when shooting every once in a while i get sprayed in the face with exuast from shooting through the safety very scary! any ideas whats causing this? how to fix it? second is that some times the fireing pin sticks and the gun will not discharge a round? the third problem is that i have had feeding issues with gun where it will not realice a gound from the tube, ive taken a tip of a knife to the stuck round in the tube and it prys out with little effort, these problems dont happen every time i go shooting, just every once in a while, but they a happening more and more, im conserned cause the gun is brand new, and i wanna be safe while shooting, can you guys help me? any ideas/solutions? please help!!!!!!!
ANSWER : Personally, with that many problems, I’d call Mossberg and get a return authorization. None of these things should be happening, especially with a new gun.

Think it may be a line tension problem. every
ANSWER : Try attaching the swivel to a chain link fence and walk away feeding the line completely out. Then begin reeling in the line at a normal pace with the drag set at max, after 10-15 turns decrease the drag a full turn. continue doing this until the line is fully retrieved. then set the drag as you normally would before fishing. Sometimes the line gets twisted while fishing which cause the tangles and backlashes. Make sure you use a barrel swivel also.

Extremely high rpm’s in neutral
ANSWER : Maybe the idle speed needs to be decreased, or check for engine overheating since you said that this happens after you have had the engine on for a while, this too can hcause strange rpms.
