Normal dirt can be washed with water adding a little vinegar and a soft brush. Most often an effective cleaning can be done with a vacuum cleaner.
With a tare weight from 400 kg (880 pounds) the trailer is extremely light, which also goes for the investment needed. The looks of the tent are unmistakeable Combi-Camp, but the Flexi is a completely new addition to the product range.
Mix a 4 part water 1 part vinegar solution to kill mold and/or use a canvas specific cleaning product of your choice. Unroll your tent, peg down the groundsheet and remove all dust, dirt, and particulate with a clean broom or a vacuum with a brush attachment.
Remove any loose dirt and debris from the canvas using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner. Mix a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water in a bucket. Dip a soft brush or sponge into the solution and gently scrub the canvas, working in small sections at a time.
The kerb weight of Mahindra Bolero Camper is 1700 Kg.
There is a wide variance among the weights of most trailers, from about 1,000 to 9,000 pounds — but as a general ballpark, the average dry weight of a standard trailer is 5,200 pounds.
Canvas Tents normally last 15-30 years depending upon on how well it is taken care of and how much the tent is used.. The main reasons canvas tents are ruined: Putting the canvas tent away wet. Regardless of the water & mildew treatment on tents the canvas will get rot and mold if put away wet.
How Waterproof is Canvas? Canvas is a durable material and is naturally slightly waterproof. During a mist or light rain, your canvas should only get a little bit wet, or the water may not soak through at all.
Canvas tents do not need external water proofing as the material they are made of is sufficient to deal with extreme moisture-prone weather conditions. That being said, a brand-new canvas tent is likely to leak near the seams as they go through weathering process.
What causes condensation in tents? Air temperature in the tent can become warm and humid from people, heaters, and a lack of ventilation. When the warm air inside the tent hits the relatively cool fabric of the tent, the moisture condenses into liquid form.
There are three weight classes for backpacking tents: Ultralight: less than 3pounds (1.36 kilograms) Lightweight: 3 to 4.5 pounds (1.36 to 2 kilograms) Heavy to Midweight: more than 4.5 pounds (2 kilograms)
I`ve carried a 2kg tent before and it`s perfectly feasible! It`s possible to get sub-1kg tents, but remember that people have been wildcamping since the days of cotton canvas, and those were never as light as 2kg. Pack your rucksack and weigh it – ideally it should be less than about a quarter of your bodyweight.
As a guide a backpacking tent should weigh no more than 3kg per person, and less is much better. But less weight often means less room inside the tent and can mean a compromise on quality. Less weight can also mean a higher price tag. So you need to balance weight, quality and comfort in terms of space and price.
If you`re just getting into backpacking, one rule of thumb is to keep the weight of your first backpacking tent under 2.5 to 3 pounds per person. It can be lower than that, but that`s a good upper limit to shoot for and one that`s still relatively easy to carry in a backpack.
Generally, camper trailers do have brakes. They usually connect to the truck so that they know when to apply. Some campers, if they are really tiny, will not have brakes, as the truck`s brakes should be sufficient to stop. There are two types: proportional and time-delayed.
Think of a tractor-trailer as a loaded semi-truck or a loaded 18-wheeler. That means the weight of a tractor-trailer is approximately 35,000 pounds empty and up to 80,000 pounds fully loaded.
We don`t recommend extended pitching during the winter months. Canvas Bell Tents are created for holiday camping, so leaving pitched for longer durations will increase the risk of mould forming on the canvas. Holiday camping is considered to be a duration between one day and up to 4 weeks.
Thanks to their thicker material, canvas tents are more effective than synthetic tents at blocking the heat from the sun as well as preventing warmth from escaping the tent. This results in a temperature inside the tent that`s cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
How to clean a painting on canvas. Oil paintings or acrylic paintings on canvas can be cleaned with gentle liquid soap and a white cotton cloth. Olive oil-based soap works great as well. Again; be gentle with paintings that have thick impasto.
One of the main reasons canvas prints can fade is exposure to UV light. UV light can cause the colours in the image to degrade and fade, and it can also cause the canvas to become brittle and damaged.
The effects of water on paintings

Canvas supports can shrink dramatically when wet, causing paint and ground layers to crack, buckle and flake off. Wood products can swell and warp. The layers of laminated cards can separate and distort.

The best treatment for acrylic canvas is a fluoropolymer-based product. This type of treatment is compatible with the original finish, and it gives excellent and long-lasting results. Waterproofers that have a petroleum-based vehicle have demonstrated better performance on acrylic canvas than water-based treatments.
Coat your tent with waterproofing spray (DWR).

Generously coat the tent with DWR spray all around the outside. You need only to spray the outside of the tent, as the coating will soak into the fabric and bond with it as it dries. Ensure that you cover each area of the tent, and don`t leave any fabric untouched.

I have a wildwood le 25bhbs and the only towing lights working are my signal lights. can’t get running lights or brake lights to work. I saw where it looked like the towing harness may have been pinched. So I repaired that, but, they still do not work. Any ideas? Is there a fuse somewhere I need to check? Do I need to hook the trailer up to my trailer hitch before they will work? Is there a wiring diagram or repair manual somewhere I can get? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
ANSWER : There should be an inline fuse, check that first.

ANSWER : The 2 longest of the poles go in an x over the center of the tent and the 2 shorter ones go arch to the sides. http://www.wenzelco.com/details.aspx?NavID=412shows a picture very similar to your tent. If you go to image 2 it shows it with out the fly. now if you got 2 sets of 4 poles, 2 long and 2 short, and one set is all aluminum, then I would go with the aluminum set.
