I have a vintage model winchester model 24 12 gauge SxS double barrel – circa 1955-56 is my guess. I would like to know if I can get a copy of an owners manual and more importantly the section on how to best clean the gun.Thanks,Steve

I spent that past 20min or so runnin through the normal places I normally find Owners manuals for older guns with no luck.The only place i was able to find one is on ebay. Gun Broker.com is also another place they are sellin them.Here is a LINK to the ebay Auction.

Winchester`s Model 24 double-barrel shotgun was introduced in 1939, just prior to the U.S. entering World War II, when most minds were not on sporting guns. Only about 116,000 of them were manufactured before it was discontinued from the Winchester catalog in the late 1950s.
An internal hammer shotgun with an external tubular magazine, Winchester produced the Model 12 from 1912 to 1964, a 51-year production life. Nearly two million shotguns were manufactured during that period in various grades, barrel lengths, and chamberings. A special production occurred in 2006 with limited numbers.

I highly recommend you don`t buy a Winchester Model 12 online if you can avoid it. The fact of the matter is these are collectible to a lot of people, and they do command higher prices online. You should find these at pawn shops and hole-in-the-wall gun shops.
There were only 132 One of One Thousand rifles produced in the Winchester 1873 Model, and a scant eight of the Model 1873 One of One Hundreds– only six of which are known today.

The Easiest Way to Identify a Gun Model Type
Long guns tend to have that information stamped directly on the barrel. Pick up a rifle or shotgun and you`ll see it, usually where the barrel meets the rest of the gun. Sometimes it`s on the right side, sometimes on the left.

I have a multifunction sports watch that i bought from Big W, (no brand name)
By accident i set the watch to 24 hour time, originally it was set to 12 hour time, how do i set it back? ive tried every button combo including the button combo i used when i accidently set it on 24 hour time, the instructions only say how to set the time and date, it doesnt say how to toggle between 12 hour and 24 hour time, is there a generic way to toggle it on sparts watches? btw, holding the mode button in does nothing on my watch, no matter how long i hold it in for
ANSWER : Hi. How may buttons do you have, 3 or 4 buttons?if you have the 4 buttons, try this:You need to go through the time and date settings again. The 24 and 12hr format select is at the end of time/date adjustment.To set the time and date:-press the top-left button then right-top button to set the seconds, press bottom-left button to set hour then press top-right button to adjust hour, press bottom-left button to set the minute then press top-right button to adjust minute. To set date, press the bottom-left button then press top-right button to adjust month, press bottom-left button then top-right button to adjust day and finally press bottom-left button to set the time format then press top-right button to select 12hour format. Press top-left button when done.Since you have a generic sports watch, it is hard to write specific instructions to set the time format.
