To take your dartboard for a `spin`: unclip the number ring and turn the board by one segment. E.g. 20 would become 12. Then just clip the number ring back on. And remember to go in the same direction each time.
The electronic dartboard is smaller, with a diameter of 15.5 inches, and has an attached power source that reads the darts as they hit the board and displays the score on an LCD display. This can be more accurate than regular boards, depending on the quality of the board.
1. Rotate Your Dartboard. Perhaps the easiest and most underutilized way to extend the life of your sisal dartboard is to simply rotate it, and rotate it often. If you`re playing on your dart board a couple of hours every day, we recommend you rotate it at least once a week.
The game is over when a player reaches zero. The winning team is the team with the lowest combined score (both team members). If the game score ends in a tie, the player/team that reaches zero wins. All general rules of play will apply.
Dartitis is a medical condition experienced by dart players. It is an unexplained loss of motor control in the hand, wrist, or arm. It is similar to “the yips”, and results in the inability to properly release the dart during a throw.
There are two types of dartboards: the soft plastic tip dartboard (electronic) and the dartboard for steel points (traditional).
A set in darts consists of a sequence of legs (games) played, ending when the count of legs won meets certain criteria. Throwing first is considered an advantage in a leg, so players alternate who throws first in each leg during the set.
Detach the metal frame from the dartboard. Then, take a low-pressure vacuum cleaner or scrub brush and clean the surface of the board. This will remove all the dirt from the board. Now, take a dry cloth and clean the surface of the board to wipe down those minute dust particles.
The most any practice day should be is 3.5 hours, which equals a maximum of four full sessions with proper breaks. If you are going for a big practice day then you will need to lengthen the breaks in-between each hour, making the actual practice day last almost 5-6 hours.
When you reach the dart tip (the pin), sew off the edge of the fabric. The short stitches won`t unravel and replace the need to backtack or tie the ends together. The trick of sewing along the fold of the fabric for a few stitches helps to get a nice smooth finish and avoids a pointy Madonna vibe to your darts.
Turn – A player is entitled to a maximum of three darts per turn. A player may opt to throw zero, one, two or three darts. Unclosed – When a team has two or fewer marks on a number or Bull`s Eye.
So on the last turn, it is not necessary to throw all 3 darts – a player can win with the first or second dart of the turn.
The name of the game is the starting number of points. The number hit is reduced from the starting points and the game ends when the score becomes exactly 0! The first player to lower his/her score to 0 wins! The score needs to be exactly 0.
The fastest you can win the game is with three throws totaling nine darts. If you get triple 20 on two turns then 141 on your last, you hit zero.
The upper arm is twisting to let this happen, so it also affects up/down on your darts. If your darts go down and right, your elbow is moving out and away from your body. This is also referred to as chicken-wing. If your darts go up and left, your elbow is moving in and toward your body.
Practice does not make perfect in darts, it`s regular practice that does. You can be an awesome player, but your game will go downhill quickly if you don`t play regularly. If you are only playing once a week, your game will not improve much. Playing multiple times a week will improve your accuracy dramatically.
A: Among other things, the dart wrench is used for tightening shafts, minor straightening of shafts, and prying the shaft prongs open to insert thicker flights.
The dart`s shaft is the part of the dart located between the barrel and the flight, the one that connects these two elements. The shaft, also called a stem, is screwed into the dart`s barrel, and holds the flight firmly in place.
The lower end of the bristle dart board category has offerings at around $30.00, but the upper end can go as high as $120.00. This broad range in price is due to the high variability in quality, with more expensive boards using higher quality fibers, a tighter fiber core compression, etc.
The London dartboard is a board that has the traditional number system we are used to seeing, a doubles ring, a trebles ring, a bullseye and outer bullseye. Most people refer to this dartboard as a traditional or standard dartboard and are not aware the dartboard does have another name.
There is no doubt that missing shots are common and that they can significantly damage your wall. Sadly, it can create lots of holes, and dings that will look worse as time goes on. As the paint starts to chip off, your wall will look like crap. You can`t depend on your aim to be precise all the time.
The moisture, salt (from sweat) and oil on your hands can corrode your dart barrels over time, and make them slippery. Cleaning your darts will also give you better grip by removing the slippery feeling and the grimy particles filling-in the hollows. To make your darts go the distance, clean them regularly.
A nine-dart finish, also known as a nine-darter, is a perfect leg or single game in the sport of darts.
The dart game of Sudden Death is played in a series of rounds. Each player gets to throw three darts per round to determine their score for that round. Once everyone has gone, whoever has the lowest score for that round is eliminated and is out for the rest of the game.

I have the Intex Sand/Pump pool filter Model SF 20110. It’s been running real great for the last 4 months. However recently it has been tripping the internal overloads and I have found the pump motor to be very hot when I put my hand against it. I have tried several different solutions, such as a level ground platform that was clear of any obstructions, made sure that the motor vents under the motor was clear of anything that would prevent air flow. I used a non electrical type of lubricate on the impeller. When I would turn on the pump the rotor would not turn but only would hum very loudly and then slowly begin to turn. I also noticed that the motor’s rotor shaft would not turn to freely due the tightness around the rotor’s shaft. After using the lubricate the shaft would turn a little easier. I used an amp meter on the incoming voltage line and the motor would run at 4.5 amp. And yet it still overheated and tripped the motor overloads. I can only think that the motor is still not getting enough ventilation. I have check and cleared all the incoming lines and found nothing block the pumps input or output lines. Any suggestion?
ANSWER : I just looking into this issue my self. The pump cools itself by a internal fan, which is run by the motor. Well I took the housing cover off to find out all the fan blades have broken off and were setting in the base of the pump. Once you remove the fan blades from covering the air intake, it might be fine. I will find out my self once summer gets here.

When i go to stari my bike it doesnt turn over i
ANSWER : If it doesn’t turn over when you push start, but it does if you wiggle the key back and forth, it’s probably the ignition switch. Try to isolate the problem by only doing one thing at a time, such as wiggling the key while it’s in the on position, or pushing start several times. It might be the starter motor too, but that seems a less likely possibility if turning the key back and forth fixes it temporarily. The way to make sure would be to jump the ignition switch all together (hotwire it) to see if it always starts then. You should be able to find a wiring diagram to show you how to do this.
