The Smith & Wesson Model 63 . 22/32 Kit Gun, is built on a stainless-steel J-frame and chambered in 22 Long Rifle. This lightweight revolver is small enough to be carried inside a hunter or fisherman`s kit bag, as its name suggests.
Revolvers – The official serial number is located on the bottom of the butt of the frame. Some revolvers also have the serial number located on the inside of the frame, in the yoke area.
It is OK to dry fire any modern S&W revolver except for 22LR or 22 Mag chambered models. With a 22 since it is a rim fire, the firing pin can hit the back of the cylinder and damage the firing pin. Dry fire practice is a great way to improve your trigger control.
The ultra rare Smith & Wesson Model 320 was a revolving rifle produced by Smith & Wesson in the late 19th century. The Smith & Wesson Model 320 Revolving Rifle is one of Smith & Wesson`s rarest products.
Smith & Wesson Model 617

Like Ruger, Smith & Wesson offers several excellent . 22 rimfire guns. One of the very best is their Model 617, a 10-shot stainless double-action revolver built on their sturdy K-Frame. The 617 is fine for backyard plinking, but this is a gun that was built for serious accuracy.

22 Magnum, with an advertised velocity of 1,050 fps and 98 ft-lbs of energy from the muzzle.
With a few very rare exceptions, all Smith & Wesson firearms have the serial number stamped on the bottom or the front of the grip. This is the most authoritative place to check the gun`s serial number. On some S&W revolvers, other numbers can be seen when the cylinder is swung out of the frame.
Many pistols, including Glocks, have their serial numbers on the barrels as well as the slides and frames. Only the frame needs to have the serial number. The other parts receive them for tracking and proof that the parts were matched to the gun (“all matching”).
Dry fire does not pose any real risk of damage to most modern centerfire firearms; however, it can for rimfire weapons, where the firing pin in most designs will impact the breech face if the weapon is dry-fired.
It needs to be cleaned and lubed prior to shooting. Also, most manufacturers have specific instructions for breaking in the firearm. It takes time for a new gun to “wear in” all the parts so they fit correctly; new guns (and magazines) will be stiff and the gun won`t be at its best until it`s broken in.
500 S&W remains the most powerful production handgun cartridge. A . 500 S&W Magnum Cartridge.
The Maxim gun, developed around 1884, was a recoil-operated, belt-fed, water-cooled machine gun that fired more than 500 rounds per minute at an effective range of more than 2,000 yards (1,830 meters).
That`s a great instinct; S&W has been making quality 9mm pistols for more than half a century. S&W makes some of the best 9mm pistols for concealed carry, for law enforcement duty use, home defense, and for general plinking/range use as well.
Historically, firearms chambered in . 22 have been used for things like hunting small game, pest control, plinking or training new shooters how to use a gun for the first time.
The . 22LR suppressed High Standard pistols were widely used during both the Second World War and the Cold War. When the United States entered World War II, the U.S. military quickly bought up all available . 22LR target pistols for marksmanship training purposes.
22 LR bullet is less powerful than larger cartridges, its danger to humans is often underestimated. In fact, a . 22 LR bullet is easily capable of killing or injuring humans. Even after flying 400 yards (370 m), a .
The . 22 LR has ample energy to penetrate the human skull and has had military application in WWII and Vietnam primarily in covert assassination by close range PBI (17).
The Easiest Way to Identify a Gun Model Type

Long guns tend to have that information stamped directly on the barrel. Pick up a rifle or shotgun and you`ll see it, usually where the barrel meets the rest of the gun. Sometimes it`s on the right side, sometimes on the left.

The 1st three numbers of your serial number will always provide your manufacture date. The 1st number is the YEAR of manufacture; the 2nd & 3rd numbers indicate the MONTH of manufacture.
The Smith & Wesson Model 1 was the first firearm manufactured by Smith & Wesson, with production spanning the years 1857 through 1882.
40 S&W is a rimless pistol cartridge developed jointly by American firearms manufacturers Smith & Wesson and Winchester in 1990. The .
Serial Number Information

Under current federal law serial numbers must be located on the frame or receiver of every firearm. Serial numbers (or partial numbers) can also be located on many other parts of firearms as well.

A. The Federal Gun Control Act of 1968 requires that serial numbers be stamped on all firearms manufactured for sale in the United States since 1968. (1) A factory-assembled pistol normally will have a serial number. When a factory- assembled pistol does not have a number, the number probably was eradicated.
For example, if you drop your cartridge near a steel object and it lands at the perfect angle with enough force, the bullet could go off. When there`s enough force, the impact on the primer would mimic the impact of a firing pin after the trigger of a gun is pulled.

I have a 1997 Coleman 107 Hot Tub. While filling the tub it over flowed and the circuit breaker popped. Over the years I’ve done this a couple of times. I remove the side, let things dry for a day or so and everything is fine. This time, I reset the breaker and the spa went on. The pumps work fine, and the control panel shows the temp and the indicator light shows the heater is on. However, work never heats up. The local spa repair folks are crooks and they know less than I do, and I know NOTHING. Nonetheless, I’m going to try and fix the problem myself. Now, I need to know the best way to determine if the problem is the circuit board or the heater itself. I also need to know where I can get a repair maual. I’m tired of paying Goober and Gomer hundreds of dollars.
ANSWER : Check the terminals that lead into the heating element to ensure voltage is present (110 AC) if voltage is present upon start up the heating element must be replaced if no voltage is present is is most likely a control board issue. Go to this web site for contact info and possible repair manual aquisition.

Hello, I have an old Tippman A5 (about 5-6 years
ANSWER : You will have to buy a different barrel for the A5, I would suggest ansgear.com, rockstartactical.com, or ebay. Make sure that you get the right threads along with an apex capeable front. I would suggest the sly carbon fibur barrels, or get a autococker barrel and a lapco adapter for your A5. Hope this helps if you have any questions just let me know.
