HI I am also a collector of firearms. I was in the USMC and just retired after 24 years I just retired 14 months ago. If you will google value of firearms there is a link that will take you to a page where you put all the info in like serial number. Smith and Wesson also has a site that you should look up by the serial number group. You can find a lot of info from that page. To my knowledge Smith and Wesson does not have a value guide on there web site.
i hope this may help you,

32 ACP is far from a powerhouse round. The round generally pushes a 71-grain bullet to around 900 fps from a 4-inch barrel, turning in around 128 foot-pounds of muzzle energy.
The Smith and Wesson Model No. 3 top-break revolver was introduced by them in 1870. This interesting and very functional pistol was designed by Major George Schofield. The Major`s idea was for easy reloading of a sidearm while on horseback.

Along with a few lever action rifles from Henry Repeating Arms, the . 327 Rugers are really the only . 32 caliber revolvers in current production that are widely available in the US. Ammo support is minimal, too, with barely a handful of factory loads being produced for the magnum calibers.
The ultra rare Smith & Wesson Model 320 was a revolving rifle produced by Smith & Wesson in the late 19th century. The Smith & Wesson Model 320 Revolving Rifle is one of Smith & Wesson`s rarest products.
Hands down the most popular rimfire caliber for revolvers is 22 LR. The reason 22 LR is a popular revolver caliber is simple: 22 LR ammo is inexpensive and has little recoil.
The Smith & Wesson Model 3 is a single-action, cartridge-firing, top-break revolver produced by Smith & Wesson (S&W) from around 1870 to 1915, and was recently again offered as a reproduction by Smith & Wesson and Uberti.

The 0.32 bore revolver costs Rs 1.38 lakh.

32 ACP isn`t perfect. It`s not the most powerful caliber, and it is lacking in some departments. It`s not the perfect caliber for carry, but it might be the perfect caliber for someone. The low recoil and small size make it fairly attractive in a tiny gun, and it can do the minimum to stop a threat.

ANSWER : Hope you did not loose any parts. Take it apart again or take it to a gun smith. I would take it apart again first. you might also want to sweep the area with a magnet like the ones from the builder supply store, before you vacuum. you might just find a missing clip, spring or pin.

Spark plug wire boot grounding out on coil, 96 outback 2.5 automatic, just put new spark plug wires, new spark plugs, and new coil on. ran great for two weeks, now spark is jumping out of boot at coil on one wire, put old coil back on and still does it in the same spot. replaced wires again, and still does it in the same spot. seems to do it only under a load. Is my new spark plug on that cylinder bad? Does the coil need some insulation under it? It is the coil that sits right on top of the motor. Any ideas? thanks.
ANSWER : Sparks are high voltage, and will always follow the path of least resistance. If you can visibly see a spark (whether in a lighted area, or in the dark), that means either that a plug wire (or coil wire) is open (non conductive), or your have a carbon track on the surface where the spark can be seen, but most likely you have BOTH problems!

If you have an ohmmeter, check the resistance of each wire involved, particularly spark plug wires … which means you must be able to connect to both ends of each wire at the same, and hopefully, FLEX those wires, to be sure they don’t have a break inside that is intermittent (comes and goes)!

ANSWER : This could be a factory safety that the hammer and trigger do not move while in the cocked position. The barrel may be locking down purposely. Look near the spring or in the path of the barrel where it folds back up and look for a release button. What do you see?
