Hi – I have a 1994 Coleman Destiny pop-up style camper – I was wondering if you could tell me where I could find the serial number?
ANSWER : Hello Joe,the serial # (VIN #) is usually located on the tongue of the trailer. It can either be a tag, or it may be stamped. The axle may also have a tag that has the VIN # as well. Sometimes the tray that holds the propane cylinders covers this up.On the popup box itself, there may be a small name plate located on the roadside front corner as well.

Broken extractor housing on Remington 870
ANSWER : Http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=653/Product/REMINGTON_870_RIVET_STAKING_TOOL_SET

On my model 770 in 300 mag. new right out of the box, cleaned in and oiled it but the bolt action was still sticky and after firing a box and a half though it it still will not eject the spent casing and I have to turn the gun on it’s side and let it drop out on it’s own. I have even called Remington’s repair shop in Or. and they can’t guarantee it will work as he said it was nothing but a cheap rifle from Remington. I will be sending to Remington’s repair shop and if they can not repair it what rights do I have to get my money back? As I don’t feel that I should keep on having to pay for shipping all the time for there poorly made rifle.

I have a Winchester Model 190 with serial number B1302781. This model and serial nubmer does not show up on the Windhester site. Can you tell me when this rifle was manufactured?
ANSWER : The model 290 came out first, in 1965. The 190 came out in 1967. The 290 was made until 1973 and production of the 190 ended in 1980. There were approx. 2,150,000 model 190/290 made through the years.Since yours was made before the middle of the production run, and before 1973, I would guess late 60’s to around 1970 or 1971.

Hope this helps.
