How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

The problem of an appliance not lighting is usually caused by one of two things. Either the generator is clogged-up with soot, or the fuel & air tube is blocked by dirt or varnish. Lanterns. (go to stoves) Give it 30 or 40 pumps to really pressurize it well.
Usually a poorly burning lantern or stove will be from not enough fuel or not enough air. If your appliance is not getting the proper amount of fuel, it just won`t get as bright or as hot as it should. If it is starving from air it will not burn hot or bright and often times appear yellow.
Check the bug screen: Bug screens exist to block insects from getting into your gas lantern. If the screen becomes obstructed, there won`t be enough oxygen in your gas lamp and the flame will be smothered. Check your bug screen for obstructions and use air to clean it. If it won`t come clean, replace the bug screen.
Is the lantern broken? A – When the glitter stops swirling this is typically a sign that the batteries are running low. The lights will continue to stay on after the glitter stops swirling because it takes less power to run the lights than the motor. Replace all batteries with 3 new “C” size batteries.
You`ll know it`s fully charged when the LED indicator turns green. Once charged, this lantern shines 400 bright lumens more than 12 meters on its high setting. With a runtime of up to 4 hours on high and 20 hours on low, the sun will come up long before you need to recharge.
Although there isn`t a set schedule for cleaning your lantern, you should clean it whenever it is dirty before storing your lantern at the end of camping season. Under most conditions, lanterns can be wiped out with warm water and dishwashing soap and then dried before storing.
Your best bet is to start with low pressure for a dim lantern and pump it up for more brightness. A few years back, I ran lanterns for a year on RUG, and often ran them until they were out of fuel. I did not see any instances of low pressure causing an issue. If pressure gets too low, the lantern will just go out.
This Coleman lantern has three settings.. high(5 hours), medium(15 hours) and low(45 hours) before recharging. I like the convenient handle it has and I like how it looks.
They burn a fuel like propane, white gas or kerosene to produce heat, and the heat causes the mantles to produce light. The mantles are a ceramic mesh that encase the flame produced by the lantern.
Batteries. It`s important to note that battery type is important when using your lantern. Some lanterns are able to use alkaline and lithium batteries, but not every lantern can. Also, lithium-ion rechargeable batteries are a great way to use rechargeables with a “primary” powered device.
Potential Fire Hazard. Sky lanterns can fly up to 3,000 feet and lasts for around 6 to 20 minutes, or when the flame burns out.
With a runtime of up to 5 hours on high and 20 hours on low, the sun will come up long before you need to recharge. The LED lasts a lifetime, so it never needs replacing and it runs cool so it`s always safe to touch, even when it`s been on for hours.
Pour in 1/4 of a tank or so of “HEET” (brand) or other alcohol based automotive fuel line cleaner. DO NOT use drug store alcohol because it contains water. Swirl the HEET around inside your stove/lantern and let it sit for 20 minutes, then empty the cleaner from your stove/lantern.
Coleman recommends a shelf life of 5 – 7 years for liquid camp fuel if the container is unopened and full. If the vintage Coleman Fuel has been opened then its shelf life is reduced to around 24 months.
Our Verdict. The Coleman Northstar is a lantern`s lantern. It is a propane-fueled, car camping behemoth that is very, very bright. In fact, it receives the highest score for brightness of all the products we tested.
Product details. Take the Coleman Carabineer Classic Personal Size Water-Resistant 400 Lumens LED Lantern, Red anywhere you need extra light. This lantern shines 400 lumens up to 12 meters on its high setting.
Does propane expire? Another way you get peace of mind with propane delivery from Bottini Fuel is that propane doesn`t have a shelf life or an expiration date. That`s because propane doesn`t go bad! Other fuel sources can degrade over time, like kerosene, diesel, heating oil and gasoline.
Look at the tare weight that is stamped on the collar/handle of the propane tank. That is the only truly precise measurement of that specific tank`s empty weight. If you put a propane tank on a scale and the reading matches the tare weight stamped on the collar/handle, then the tank is definitely empty.
Make packing up your lantern as easy as possible with the Coleman QuickPack Propane Lantern. The 2-mantle design of this lantern creates a steady, bright glow of up to 1000 lumens of light that reaches up to 22 meters away.
Description. Coleman`s new U-tube fluorescent lantern runs from 8 D-cell batteries.
Carbon Monoxide Poisoning with Camping Equipment

Never use portable heaters or lanterns while sleeping in enclosed areas such as tents, campers and vehicles.

During deepavali, mustard oil is traditionally used to light the lamps. Deepavali, also recognised as the Festival of Lights, is a five-day festival. Many people have lit oil lamps to celebrate this day at the Diwali Festival. They use mostly mustard oil for the lighting of oil lamps.
To take a Flame, a player must equip their Lantern then raise it ( Secondary Use ) close to either the Well of Fate, a lit Lantern or Beacon and then press the button prompt to “Take Flame”. Be careful with Ship Lanterns as the other prompt is to “Place a Flame”, which will replace the previous colour.
One lantern, 100,000 tons of burning plastic

A sky lantern works like a hot air balloon. The candle flame bellow the shell warms up the air inside it, causing the lantern to float up and stay airborne until the candle is extinguished.

I have a wildwood le 25bhbs and the only towing lights working are my signal lights. can’t get running lights or brake lights to work. I saw where it looked like the towing harness may have been pinched. So I repaired that, but, they still do not work. Any ideas? Is there a fuse somewhere I need to check? Do I need to hook the trailer up to my trailer hitch before they will work? Is there a wiring diagram or repair manual somewhere I can get? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
ANSWER : There should be an inline fuse, check that first.

I have had two small Coleman ‘Frontier PZ’ propane lanterns for a number of years with no problems. Last year one of them started shutting down for no apparent reason – it would light normally, burn for 4 – 5 minutes and then go out. This summer the second lantern has started doing the same thing. Changing gas cylinders seems to have no effect, nor does a new mantle fix the problem. It’s hard to be certain but as I can’t hear any gas hissing it’s as if the jet gets blocked after a few minutes alight. Turn off the gas, leave the lantern alone for a while and it will relight ok, though it will still only burn for a few minutes before going out again. Any ideas?
ANSWER : There is something in the jets or the piping to the mantels, you my find spider webing there, if you did no cap the port where the tank goes some small friends might have wanted to go camping with you.

HI!
I continually get code 90 (low/NO flow) from my 8111. I have disassembled, cleaned EVERYTHING, including the inlet port AT the pump (remind everybody to check this as stuff gets past the filter basket and will plug the pump inlet).

There is No air in the system and I get superb pressure at the outlet, yet I still get code 90. I again removed the flow sensor and put my ohm meter across the flow sensor terminals and activated the flapper and measured an open circuit. I used a heavier magnet to see if I could get make the internals of the sensor move to get an ohm reading, but I get nothing but an open circuit, ie: no measured resistance.

Can I simply bypass the defective flow sensor to trick the 8111 to think it has full flow without damaging the ‘brain’ of the system.?

Intex corp is useless at these questions. They have been out of stock on this sensor for months and are telling me “two weeks” for two months and now it’s “end of August” which I do not believe. Meanwhile I am making no chlorine while the 90 code is showing.

I love the 8111, this is the first problem I’ve had with it, and I’m frustrated that I can not get such an important part from them.

Thanks for listening!

ANSWER : Have you been able to find a solution to this problem. I am having the same issue.

My swimming pool. I have just had my fifth IC 40 Intellichlor chlorine generator installed in 4 years at a cost of over $900 today. Each one has worked for no more than 8 months. The first three were replaces under three year warranty, the fourth by a factory rep and I bought the fifth today. The first three all failed with Flow Chk PCB error message. The fourth just stopped working on Sunday, no power or lights. A local Pentair warranty person, whom I paid a Service Call, unplugged the unit, opened the small power center cover, showed me the green light indicating that there was power, plugged in a new IC 40 which worked immediately (as did the other four). I asked if I should replace the power center and he said that it’s basically just a transformer and is working fine. We do get occasional power blips that make the clocks on microwaves, etc blink, but I thought that the power center essentially isolates the cell from these. I do have a Florida Power and Light surge protector on the electrical box that brings power into the house. I have now talked to the pool builder, two Pentair warranty repairmen and one factory rep. I am at a loss. They all tell me they have no idea why these units fail after less than a year. This last IC 40 was installed 3/24/2010, version 2.0 and now failed in less than 5 months. Should I replace the power center that the IC 40 plugs into. Any other suggestions. I have been told that this is the best chlorinator. I don’t want to keep replacing units. By the way, each unit had been spotless inside. I keep the water chemicals and salt levels at ideal levels. The units have never worked long enough to get dirty inside. The power center is connected to an Intellitouch control system outside with an indoor control panel. Last time I called Pentair North Carolina and got some smart alec tech person that had no suggestions. Please Help if you can.
ANSWER : I’ve had the same experiance. On my fifth one as well. Fail every year. No idea why.
