When it comes to setting up and breaking down, pop-up trailers are easy to use, especially if you`re new to the RV camping experience. Because of their smaller size, they`re easy to set up on leveling blocks when you pull into your campsite.

Lay the canvas face down on a clean thick cotton towel. Hold a steam iron above the back of the canvas about an inch or so. Lightly release steam onto the dent or wrinkle until it`s wet. Wipe off excess water, then let it dry upright.
Interior features might be leather-covered. There will also be full-size showers, separate toilets, large holding tanks, water that`s pump-powered, and possibly even air conditioning. There are pop-up trailers that have space where you can store various “toys” such as bikes, ATVs, or watercraft.
Also known as a “Pop-Up Caravan”, “Fold Out Camper” or “Tent Trailer”, a Pop-Up Camper is a class of recreational vehicle (RV) with collapsible roof and walls. Thanks to its fabric walls and screen windows, Pop-Up Campers can fold down into a compact package that makes it easier to tow than a full-sized trailer.
No matter the size of your camper build, you need adequate camper van ventilation. It fights heat, humidity and pollutants that can lead to a whole host of potentially icky problems in your conversion.
But what can you use it for? Portable Bar Hunting Shack Pop-up Shop Food Truck/Coffee Bar Car-Port Ice Fishing Shack Portable Pool Portable Bars Usually the first thing to go on a pop up camper is the canvas sides.
As long as you maintain a pop-up camper and keep it clean between uses, it can last up to 15 years or more. It`s important to make sure this type of camper is dry and clean before folding it up for storage. The chances of it having mold or other issues lessen if you store it properly.
When the canvas part of the camper is set up, it can get wet. If you`re not able to dry it before you have to fold the camper up again, the conditions are just right for mold. What`s worse, the insipid growth can infect every area of your camper.
This RV delamination problem is obvious. What is this? The result is a convex air pocket that causes bonding agent failure and separation. A bubble forms over the unglued pocket, which will grow in size over time as the fiberglass-walled RV flexes with normal use.
One part vinegar to two parts water in a spray bottle works well. And if you`ve got mold/mildew on your pop-up camper`s vinyl or canvas, try that vinegar and water solution there as well. Rinse your vinyl windows using clean water (again using a lighter jet spray) and pat the windows dry using a soft cloth.
Similar to the Stable-Lift jacks, electric truck camper jacks are corner jacks that work via an electric motor. They make it super easy to raise or lower the camper by simply pressing a lever, which then utilizes an electric motor to do the heavy lifting.
Available models to fit pop-up campers

Available in 14″, 15″ and 16″ rim sizes.

Some pop-up campers come equipped with air conditioning, but many do not. Don`t worry though! There are several different options for keeping you cool in your pop-up camper including a rooftop unit, window unit, and small portable A/C units.
If you`ve left your pop-up camper out in the elements for too long or stored it incorrectly, chances are that mold and mildew have built up. Not only can these ruin your canvas, they also make your camper smell unpleasant. Address this problem as soon as you come across it.
Typically, pop ups can sleep as many as eight people, meaning you can bring friends and extended family along and not have to worry about snuggling up at night. More storage – in addition to being able to sleep more people, pop ups have much more room for storage.
While towing shouldn`t scare you away from having a travel trailer, it 100% makes driving more challenging– you`ll have decreased visibility behind and around you, you`ll be pulling a heavier load (so you`ll have to be quicker to brake than if your vehicle was uncoupled), and you`ll always need to be cognizant of where …
Meaning of pop-up tent in English

a tent that is ready to use as soon as it is unfolded, without a frame having to be built first: We got a little pop-up tent to use on the beach. Fewer examples. Pop-up tents can easily get blown away by the wind. This pop-up tent is so easy to use even a child could assemble it.

Patching Holes in Your Tent

Sharp sticks, stones and errant tree branches can sometimes rip your tent`s fabric. If you carry a patch kit with you while camping or backpacking, you can repair a tear in a tent`s wall, mesh or rainfly while you`re out there. Or you can wait to do it at home.

Pop up tents will not leak in the rain, as long as they are sufficiently waterproof. This includes having fabric with a hydrostatic head rating of around 1,000mm, having been treated with a durable water repellent finish, and having a bathtub flooring extending up a few inches.

I have a 1997 Coleman 107 Hot Tub. While filling the tub it over flowed and the circuit breaker popped. Over the years I’ve done this a couple of times. I remove the side, let things dry for a day or so and everything is fine. This time, I reset the breaker and the spa went on. The pumps work fine, and the control panel shows the temp and the indicator light shows the heater is on. However, work never heats up. The local spa repair folks are crooks and they know less than I do, and I know NOTHING. Nonetheless, I’m going to try and fix the problem myself. Now, I need to know the best way to determine if the problem is the circuit board or the heater itself. I also need to know where I can get a repair maual. I’m tired of paying Goober and Gomer hundreds of dollars.
ANSWER : Check the terminals that lead into the heating element to ensure voltage is present (110 AC) if voltage is present upon start up the heating element must be replaced if no voltage is present is is most likely a control board issue. Go to this web site for contact info and possible repair manual aquisition.

Flames shooting up from back of Coleman stove.
ANSWER : Buy a new one. do not attempt to use this one again. There could be a pin hole in the propane lines or just a small crack. If you can hear it then there’s a problem.

However if you really want to fix this one try putting water on the propane lines and then putting on a new tank and opening the valve. DO NOT LIGHT THE STOVE. where there are bubbles there is your leak. When you find it seal it with a Flame retardent sealent or clamp the line. Also I believe Lowe’s sells parts that may work. just find out which line is leaking and replace the whole line.

I highly recommend just buying a new one and destroying the old one. DO NOT just throw it away please. Some one out there will grab it and try and use it. They will find out the hard way and maybe get hurt badly themselves or hurt someone else. Just imagine the guy who grabs it and goes camping with his family. Him and his son start it up. the son is right next to the unit. The guy fires it up and boom the son gets burned. Is it just me or would you feel bad if you knew this guy. I have seen it first hand. trust me it sucks. A buddy of mine did this and his son was in hospital for 3 days. he said he will never do that again.

So for safety sake please just buy the new one. don’t take unnessecary risks if you don’t have too.

Spark plug wire boot grounding out on coil, 96 outback 2.5 automatic, just put new spark plug wires, new spark plugs, and new coil on. ran great for two weeks, now spark is jumping out of boot at coil on one wire, put old coil back on and still does it in the same spot. replaced wires again, and still does it in the same spot. seems to do it only under a load. Is my new spark plug on that cylinder bad? Does the coil need some insulation under it? It is the coil that sits right on top of the motor. Any ideas? thanks.
ANSWER : Sparks are high voltage, and will always follow the path of least resistance. If you can visibly see a spark (whether in a lighted area, or in the dark), that means either that a plug wire (or coil wire) is open (non conductive), or your have a carbon track on the surface where the spark can be seen, but most likely you have BOTH problems!

If you have an ohmmeter, check the resistance of each wire involved, particularly spark plug wires … which means you must be able to connect to both ends of each wire at the same, and hopefully, FLEX those wires, to be sure they don’t have a break inside that is intermittent (comes and goes)!
