How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

Set up a hose connected to a cold water supply. Spray your tent with the hose, making sure you hit all the fabric. Wait for the tent to completely dry – it should be hot to the touch and then re-tension any parts that have now expanded. Repeat the process at least twice more to ensure complete waterproofing.
Canvas Tents normally last 15-30 years depending upon on how well it is taken care of and how much the tent is used.. The main reasons canvas tents are ruined: Putting the canvas tent away wet. Regardless of the water & mildew treatment on tents the canvas will get rot and mold if put away wet.
For a canvas that was originally painted in oils, you`ll have to scrape and sand the paint to remove it. If you want a fresh, clean surface to work on, then you can always flip the canvas over to the unused side to paint on it. Once you`re finished, you can start painting again!
If you want your tent to be waterproof, your best bet is to purchase a canvas waterproofing solution or canvas waterproofing spray.
Because canvas is made of individual fibers, a tear often pulls them apart and leaves a rough edge of fibers behind. For a DIY approach, you can patch the canvas on the backside of the painting using another piece of canvas slightly larger than the tear itself and secure with acid-free glue.
Canvas tents do not need external water proofing as the material they are made of is sufficient to deal with extreme moisture-prone weather conditions. That being said, a brand-new canvas tent is likely to leak near the seams as they go through weathering process.
We don`t recommend extended pitching during the winter months. Canvas Bell Tents are created for holiday camping, so leaving pitched for longer durations will increase the risk of mould forming on the canvas. Holiday camping is considered to be a duration between one day and up to 4 weeks.
Thanks to their thicker material, canvas tents are more effective than synthetic tents at blocking the heat from the sun as well as preventing warmth from escaping the tent. This results in a temperature inside the tent that`s cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Fly Advantages and Recommendations

Wall tents and canvas tents are excellent for camping, hunting, and outdoor adventures, but they need protection from the elements to keep them in top shape. A fly is a recommended accessory for all wall tents, providing a moisture barrier and protecting the canvas roof from UV rays.

How long does it take to put up? The first time your pitch your tent you need to attach the guy ropes, but once they are on they are on for life. You`ll also take a while as you get used to it, so allow 1-2 hours for your first attempt. Once you get the hang of it ONE person can do the whole thing in 45-60 minutes.

Square tent with 2 types gazebo poles, varenda, 2 side windows
ANSWER : The 2 longest of the poles go in an x over the center of the tent and the 2 shorter ones go arch to the sides. http://www.wenzelco.com/details.aspx?NavID=412shows a picture very similar to your tent. If you go to image 2 it shows it with out the fly. now if you got 2 sets of 4 poles, 2 long and 2 short, and one set is all aluminum, then I would go with the aluminum set. It is less likely to collapse in high winds.

Need the wire diagram to rewire my Ariens lawnmover to bypass the safety switch. It is Ariens GT-19 model # 931026 Serial # 001463.
Can you help? It is an old Ariens mower but still runs good but now I need to bypass the safety switch in order to run it any longer. The local Ariens dealer said I need to go through the internet and get the wire diagram as they cannot give it to me directly. They told me I needed the wire diagram and the part involved in bypassing the safety switch. Hope this is all the information you need to help me.

Thank you. Roger Fielitz

ANSWER : Here is owner manual:http://apache.ariens.com/manuals/030305C.pdfusually the switch is behind the ignition, sometimes at the N position of gearshift, just look for a switch with one wire coming in & one going out (usually the same color); disconnect the two wires & jumper them together to bypass the switch. Looks like yours has one under the seat.
