side is dark. I have noticed in the past it was getting dimmer. I have ordered the bulbs from Thermospa, and was wondering if anybody has ever replaced these bulbs themselves. Do not want to have to call a technician if I can do it myself.
Thanks,
Betsy

First of all Betsy, if this involves more than 1 bulb, it is not a bulb issue, but rather a low voltage issue, or a power surge issue on one side knocking out all bulbs on one side…since you have noticed that they were getting dimmer over time…I suspect a voltage issue that has ultimately knocked out the lighting on one side. This is probably due to a circuit board failure, possibly a capacitor, but rather than trouble shoot a printed circuit board, it would likely be more cost effective to replace it…Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!

Maintenance Program: Insert a new ThermoClear cartridge into your filter cavity. Then simply add 2 ounces (for 1 to 2 people and an additional ½ ounce for each additional user) of Spa Activator each time after you use the spa and 2 ounces each week when spa is not in use.
Founded in 1983, it was purchased by a subsidiary of Jacuzzi Group Worldwide in 2012 and now operates under the name ThermoSpas Hot Tub Products, Inc.
Water is supplied to the hot tub water pump from an outside source. The hot tub pump`s impeller rotates at a high rpm, forcing water through the intake hose at moderate pressure to a heating device. The heater excites the water molecules, actually making them move faster, thus creating a higher temperature.
With good warranty options and additional safety features, the ThermoSpas hot tub range is as practical as it is customisable. If you`re looking for the best hot tubs with good warranties and personalizable options, the brand should be high up on your list.
Hot tubs need regular maintenance to ensure the water is kept clean and safe for bathers. Whether you are running on chlorine, bromine, ozone or you have a salt system, you should drain and refill your hot tub peroidically and flush the pipes to keep them clean.
There are three methods for draining a hot tub: through the drain spigot (a.k.a. drain plug), using a submersible drain pump, or with the help of a wet/dry vacuum. Before you start draining the tub, however, cut off the power supply so the jets and pumps can`t accidentally be during this procedure.
Are ThermoSpa hot tubs worth it? ThermoSpas combines the ability to customize hot tubs on a variety of levels with a reputation for unmatched customer service and one of the best extended warranties in the industry. ThermoSpas is an ideal choice for those looking for an upscale, luxury hot tub for their home.
The prices for ThermoSpas hot tubs range widely from $4,000 up to $22,000, depending on how many features you add to the model you choose.
Regular soaking in a hot tub may provide several health benefits, such as muscle relaxation, pain relief, and improved sleep. Some studies suggest a wider variety of health benefits, but more research is needed to determine the specifics of hot tub therapy with particular conditions.
Electrical resistance heaters are fundamental to hot tubs. These elements are responsible for generating heat. Pressure pumps are responsible for pushing water through the assembly housing. As water makes its way through the heater assembly, it is heated by an element coil.
Brand Reputation
You want your hot tub to last a long time, and you will expect that the brand you choose will be there to support you with parts and service for the life of your hot tub. It`s important to choose a hot tub brand that will be there if you need it.
Jacuzzi Brands is a global manufacturer of spas, swim spas, saunas, bathtubs, showers and related bathroom products and accessories. The Company operates under multiple brands, including Jacuzzi®, Sundance®, Dimension One Spas®, Hydropool®, ThermoSpas® and BathWraps®.
Most hot tub filters need to be replaced once every year. However, some high-quality filters can be used for up to three years, depending on your level of use. Low-quality hot tub filters, on the other hand, may need to be changed much sooner. Check your filter`s packaging to know how long yours will last.
If you do not want to put any chemicals in to your hot tub, no problem. But you must drain down and refill after each use and ensure that the water is never in the spa for more than 12 hours!
Draining and refilling your spa will be an important aspect of spa ownership. Many spas need to be drained and refilled every three to four months due to chemical build-up.
The quick answer to this question is yes, you can leave your hot tub empty.
Mix a solution of ½ part water and ½ part vinegar into a spray bottle. Spray the vinegar and water solution in liberal amounts over the hot tub.
The chemicals you will need to start your hot tub include a pH increaser, pH decreaser, calcium hardness, a metal removal (if using water from rainwater tanks or bore) and a sanitiser.
A Ph level between 7.2 and 7.8 should be maintained in your hot tub. 7.2 or below indicates that your water is too acidic, which can cause itchiness and eye burn, and your sanitiser to be less effective. High acidity can result in costly damage to your hot tub parts too.
While you could use a hot tub without chemicals, you could not soak safely. Water needs to be circulating and treated in order for it to be good for soaking. When you don`t use chemicals in your hot tub or use too little, you are creating the perfect environment for algae, bacteria, and other contaminants to thrive.
A 2-seater spa holds about 170 gallons (about 650 litres). A 4-seater hot tub holds about 330 gallons (about 1250 litres). A large spa that seats 7 or 8 people holds somewhere between 475 and 610 gallons (1800 and 2300 litres).
A hot tub should not be placed on soil or on a lawn. Instead, it will need a solid platform to support all of the weight. Exposure to wet soil and grass will reduce the life of your hot tub and expose it to insects and moisture.
In general, a small two-to-three-person hot tub will typically weigh 500 pounds when empty, and somewhere near 3000 pounds when filled with water. If your spa is of a much larger variety, such as a nine or ten-person spa, the dry weight will be somewhere in the ballpark of 900-1250 pounds, and up to 8000 pounds filled.
Value verdict: while they`re cheaper in the upfront cost, they`re less durable, less energy efficient and not all models can be used year-round, making them less convenient. They don`t provide the benefits of a hard-shelled tub in terms of seating or hydrotherapy either.
The Bike Technicians Tactic Phase1 An electrical inspection on the bike should produce results. First, the bike battery powers the entire lightening systems mentionable as ignition, meter readings, head lamps, signal indicators. However, the battery provides the power supply to several entities though also significant is the fuse box containing circuit protection coils. Inserting the bike key into the ignition to perform start mode displays the capacity power circuits. A charged battery should display an indication in the meter reading area also known as bike dashboard grading. A malfunctioning start mode on inserting key in ignition may be traceable several locations on the electrical circuits. Attempting to repair the electrical power of the bike usually requires batter power power test kit. The test kit ascertains the battery power making possible progress to the remaining electrical circuits. Test kit also ascertains the fuse box circuit functionality either with fuses still intact or extracted allowing for the next progress level. An observation tour of the bikes electrical wiring kits from battery hold through fuse box compartments to each lightening display area either headlamps, indicators, and meter reading should produce results of any visible damages that may require repairs after the electrical inspection has been performed. Once any faults were observed on the electrical channels, repair mode is the next level. A dull battery either may have been depleted completely of durational capacity requiring another for replacement. Alternately, a depleted power supply due to prolonged storage may require charge functionalities. Usually, a device capacapble of restoring a battery of electrolytes is resorted for charger ability. The type of battery may require constuents either liquid cathode replenishment in the battery entrapment area prior to charging feature is assumed with electrolyte machine. Once the battery has regained full functionality makes way the next repair task. The fuse box may have simply required replacement fuses either as missing or burnt out. A fuse box usually contains additional spare for replacement functionalities. An alternate arrangement at acquiring fuses on the auto mart may replace the burnt devices. The next electrical task is wiring fixtures achievable by mending broken cords with appropriate electrician’s tapes else malfunctions may remain. Alternately, a worn-out electrical wire is replaceable by acquiring the entire extension lengthwise between significant areas. The last remaining electrical units are lightening indicators consisting of bulbs or luminescent displays reflectors. Observe the blub areas either by loosening covers to inspect for observable burnouts else the entire electrical circuitry is ready for functionality observations with separate entities. Engine Technicians Tactic PHASE 2 A bike engine inspection includes observation for indications of malfunction. Any fluid residue is indication of problem areas. Where oil leaks usually requires engine block inspections. A bike engine consists of an entrapment compartment where mechanical combustion takes place. First, the entire observable block consists of an external coating known as engine bloc housing internal component of pistons, rings, and fastens known as cylinder heads. A bike engine has every component embedded within requiring technical expertise to achieve an inspection. Once deciding on the engine task requirements, acquire a tool box with the appropriate componements as first requirement before engine works is commence able. Second, the bike may require an area environment as workshop requirement to attain engine inspections. Third, bike engine are least bulky compared with vehicle engines however assistance would complement the inspection phase. Prior to inspecting the bike engine, a strap mechanism has to be assumed to achieve expert maneuverability also as safe precaution. Unless parts hinder maneuverability at engine locations, the only removable components should be the engine. First, start with disjointing the spark plug cables to acquire accessibility to plugs imbedded on the cylinder heads. The plugs require tools to loosen thereby exposing the combustible area. Once the spark plugs are exposed, two alternatives are likely. First, a spark plug may have gathered rust residue only requiring cleaning to attain regular capacity. The pin area of the spark plug may have been twisted due to overheating and slight melting dislocation. Usually cleaning the residue from old plugs may simply expose the ignitable capacities. However, an observation of twisted plug pin may require twisting back in place to achieve full ignitability once bike engine starts. A bike engine bloc has the pistons as combustibles or blasters of fuel gasoline. The rings perform as strap fasteners whenever the pistons move about combustibility. Usually, the engine entrapment components would have collected residue requiring clearing. Also, pistons together with rings may require replacements either as worn-out due to prolongs tasks or overexerted biker features.
