Once the inner part of the switch is removed it shows the positive contact as a small round piece of metal in the center of one side of the switch. If the contacts do fall out of the switch, they can easily be replaced. But if the contacts are not placed back into the switch correctly, the Mini MagLite will not work.

It sometimes happens that batteries become stuck inside the barrel and are hard to remove. If this happens, it likely means that the batteries have leaked and swelled up, and if the flashlight is non-functional, corrosion damage from the leaking batteries is almost certainly the cause.

If the battery is still stuck, try using a pair of needle-nose pliers or a similar tool to carefully grip the battery and gently wiggle it back and forth to loosen it from the compartment. Be careful not to damage the battery compartment or the battery.

The short answer is no. You can`t use LED replacement bulbs (if you can find them) to replace traditional mini lights on a traditional light string. It may seem like a good idea, cost-effective and simple. However, the wiring for your classic lights is different and unsuitable to handle LEDs.

Although LEDs can burn out, it`s relatively uncommon to see it within a lifetime if it`s in perfect condition. Most LED flashlights are evaluated to have a minimum of 50,000 hours of life.
Bring your AA Mini Maglite® into the 21st century with a 1 watt Luxeon® LED upgrade. Your batteries will last 4 times longer and you`ll never have to replace another globe.
All is not lost because you can revive them. If you have a balance charger designed for charging LiPo batteries, chances are it will revive your lithium-ion cells too. Or, if you have a digital multicharger that has `revive` functionality, that will work too.

As you will know, batteries contain a lot of voltage and current, and this can hurt you and even may kill people with bad hearts. Batteries are also filled with an explosive chemical combination. If a spark was to be large enough or hot enough, you could ignite this chemical and explode your car.
Most but not all battery-cable clamps have 10-millimeter bolts, so you`ll likely need a 10-millimeter open-end wrench to disconnect the cables. A socket-wrench set that includes that same-size socket will be helpful as well. In some cases, you can get by with just an adjustable open-end wrench.

Need the wire diagram to rewire my Ariens lawnmover to bypass the safety switch. It is Ariens GT-19 model # 931026 Serial # 001463.
Can you help? It is an old Ariens mower but still runs good but now I need to bypass the safety switch in order to run it any longer. The local Ariens dealer said I need to go through the internet and get the wire diagram as they cannot give it to me directly. They told me I needed the wire diagram and the part involved in bypassing the safety switch. Hope this is all the information you need to help me.

Thank you. Roger Fielitz

ANSWER : Here is owner manual:http://apache.ariens.com/manuals/030305C.pdfusually the switch is behind the ignition, sometimes at the N position of gearshift, just look for a switch with one wire coming in & one going out (usually the same color); disconnect the two wires & jumper them together to bypass the switch. Looks like yours has one under the seat.
