I need a picture to show me how to thread a simple Shakespeare fishing rod and reel. I have never been fishing with a rod and reel, always use a cane pole in the past.

Feed the line down through the eyelets on your pole ,now open the bail on your reel tie the line on the spool, and start reeling(keep tension on the line, prevents line from tangling) when i resting mine I only go about two thirds on my spool.

Buy a premade fishing reel and attach it to the side of the larger 34 inch (1.9 cm) PVC pipe. Screw the PVC pipes together. The last step is to screw the 2 pieces of PVC pipe together to form your fishing rod and run the fishing line through the eyelets. Attach a hook, bobber and sinker to the end of the line.
If you are going to be regularly catching fish between ¾oz and 1lb, a 1500–2000-size reel will be your best choice. For most bass fishing techniques, a 2500–3000-size reel will suffice.
Baitcasting reels are the most powerful fishing reels, hands down. They can handle heavy lines and produce a lot of pulling power, making them a great option when you`re chasing larger fish. Baitcasters also allow you to feel the line as it`s going out, so you can stop it exactly when you need to.
A reel spool is a large diameter mandrel used for winding and possibly storing large rolls of paper board and tissue. More and more mills are winding on cores (10″, 12″ 14″, 16″ on up) right on the tissue & paper board paper machines.
The spool work process is responsible for preparing the output data, processing the output request, and passing the output request data to the host spool system. Spool work processes run on the spool server. A single spool server can support multiple spool work processes.
Spooling is a process in which data is temporarily held to be used and executed by a device, program, or system. Data is sent to and stored in memory or other volatile storage until the program or computer requests it for execution. SPOOL is an acronym for simultaneous peripheral operations online.
Green. Green is a good color for blending into the water. The majority of water we anglers fish have some sort of green tint to it. Like camouflage, the green line blends into its surroundings and makes a good choice for anglers looking to keep their line invisible to fish.
It`s important to know a line`s “pound test,” or the amount of pounds of pressure it can withstand before breaking. The higher the pound test, the stronger the line. For trout fishing, for example, one might use a 4- or 6-pound test line. For bass/walleye/northern pike fishing, use 8-pound test and up.
Anglers typically divide gear ratios into three categories: slow, medium and fast. Roughly speaking, “slow” reels have ratios below 6:1; medium reels are 6 to just under 7:1 and fast reels are 7:1 or faster.
If you are a beginner, spinning reel is a great option. It is affordable, lightweight and easy to use. With this reel, you can undertake differently sized bass. The spool on the spinning reel sits parallel to the rod`s main axis.
The best gear ratio, as agreed upon by most experienced anglers, is 6:0:1. Therefore, for every revolution of the handle, the spool will spin six times, thus improving retrieval speed and the reel`s torque. This gear ratio is considered ideal since it is versatile and can tackle spinnerbaits, jigging, and jerk baits.
Spinning Reels

The spinning reel takes time a bit of time to master. It`s easy to get line tangled, it`s more difficult to cast since it involves lifting the bale, holding down a loop of line with your index finger, then whipping the attached rod forward.
