Tools and Materials: Spade, Wheelbarrow, Shovel, Cement Trowel, Tape Measure, Stir Rod, Level, Auger, Hoe, 10-14 60 lb Bags of Dry Concrete Mix, Water, Rubber Mallet, 1/2″ Drive Torque Wrench, Steel Punch, Screwdriver, Stepladder. Digging the perfect hole for your basketball hoop is vital.
It is recommended that concrete be allowed to cure for a minimum of 28 days. However, depending on the desired use of the basketball hoop, the curing time may be extended to ensure that the concrete is fully cured and will not be damaged by weather or other elements.

Got the basketball poles stuck together and theyre not aligned
ANSWER : As bizarre as it sounds, dropping the poles on the grass totally did the trick for us too! Let it fall a little wonky (not completely level) and the pieces will knock apart. We also lubed it and sprayed it with some canned air just in case the pieces had expanded together in the heat.
