How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

The lenses of these glasses have coatings that help prevent moisture from accumulating on them and causing vision problems. These coatings work by repelling any water droplets before they contact the lens surface, which prevents the formation of water vapor on the glass surface – thus preventing fogging.
An anti-fog spray applies a clean and clear layer of anti-fog protection on your lenses. Anti-fog spray should be applied daily for the best results, although the coating can last up to 5 days.
Most anti-fog coatings are temporary, as they only work for three months to a year before they stop working completely. Fogging is annoying, especially for people who use recommended lenses.
However, goggles can still fog up for a variety of reasons. The anti-fog treatments become less effective over time. The anti-fog treatment has come off. A lot of moisture is being produced so the anti-fog cannot handle it all.
The science behind why goggles fog is surprisingly simple. It all comes down to the temperature difference on either side of the goggle lens. When the air inside your goggles is warmer than your goggle lenses, the warm air molecules hit the cooler lens and condense into water molecules.
Toothpaste – a tiny dot of toothpaste on the inside of your goggle can prevent fogging. Just dot, wipe and buff with a towel. Shaving cream – A small drop of shaving cream, wiped and then buffed with a towel can prevent fogging. Saliva – a cost free solution!
Normally, anti-fog coating lasts about a year.
Don`t use any cleaning products other than dishwashing liquid or glasses cleaning solution to clean your glasses. Products such as acetone, alcohol, and household glass cleaners can damage lens coatings.
An anti-fog coating composition comprises a silicone polymer or oligomer, a water dispersible polyurethane polymer or oligomer, and water.
Zeiss Fog Defender System

This anti-fog spray tops our list for a number of reasons, but the main one is that it “works 100 percent of the time,” as verified Amazon reviewer Kiyoshi H. raves. With more than 2,700 five-star reviews on Amazon, it`s clear that other shoppers agree with that assessment.

Shaving Foam/Shaving Cream

Working on anything from windshields to glasses, shaving cream is known for creating a protective barrier that protects glass from fogging up. All you need to do is use a dab of it on your lenses, rub across your glasses with a dry towel, and wipe down. No water needed and you`re good to go!

Sounds strange, but just a few drops of baby shampoo can guarantee you a fog free swim. Leave a couple drops in your lens for 15 minutes, rinse well, and you`ll be good to go!
Invisible Glass` unique formula prevents hazes and streaks from fogging up your windows, protecting them with a noticeable clean that prevents fog from within.
Depending on the humidity and temperature, fog can form very suddenly and then disappear just as quickly.
Avoid using any household cleaning products.

Do not use any cleaning products other than mild dish soap for cleaning eyeglasses (do not use Windex, bleach, or vinegar). These harsh cleaning products can prematurely dissolve and strip down the protective coating on your eyewear frames.

Vinegar is a natural antifog agent that will help prevent your windows from fogging up.
C-Clear anti-fog for Military / Armed Forces

Both C-Clear anti-fog spray and gel stop fogging on glass and plastic lenses of masks, goggles and protective face shields. Non-flammable.

Glasses Fog Up Because of Condensation

Condensation occurs on eyeglass lenses when water vapor—from your sweat, breath, and ambient humidity—lands on a cold surface, cools, and then changes into tiny drops of liquid, forming a film that you see as fog.

Shampoo and dish soaps are surfactants that will prevent fogging. We recommend using baby shampoo because it is less likely to irritate your eyes. Gently apply a drop or two of baby shampoo to the inside of goggle lenses, then carefully spread with a soft clean cloth. Beware scratching the lenses when applying.
What is the best way to clean my lenses? Never use any chemical to clean the lens – only water and a microfiber cloth Goggles can be machine washed on delicate (remove lens first). No harsh detergents. Always hang-dry and inspect for foam deterioration when re-installing lens.
Use a Cleaning Agent

When using a scrubber, apply a bead sized drop of either toothpaste or Softscrub to both the inside and outside lenses. Use your finger tip to scrub the paste vigorously all over both sides of the lenses, concentrating mostly on the inside of the lens. Make sure you scrub every inch of the lens.

Trying to install a new fluro light, pull out old light to find 3 reds and 3 blacks 1 copper earth. What do I do to connect it up the right way??? When I pulled the old Fluro light out the 3 Reds were joined together with a connector ,two blacks were joined to one end of light wire, the other to the other end of the light wire, earth wire to the light case, the third black wire was connected to the wire from the ballast? Does this all make sense
ANSWER : No, this does not make sense but I have seen strange wiring before. There is power going from the light someplace else. Just connect it back up exactly as the old light was connected. It worked before so it will work again. If it works it is wired correctly. Without being there to check which wire was the hot wire and which was neutral it is impossible for me to say what is what. Make sure you connect the ground wire to the light chassis.

I have replaced the spark plugs immediatly and now the motor reaches 9500rpm. When the plugs were replaced the plug wire top of the plugs had a black powder residue (like graphite)and #1 & 4 plug electrode end were black minimal soot and #2 & #3 had a white color residue on the ceramic.

I would like to hook up a 12 volt battery to the trailer. In the cupboard below the propane stove is a plug with white, black and orange wire to it.
In the AC power converter cupboard I have a plug with a black and orange wire. How do I hook up the battery so that it charges and runs the fridge while I’m driving, and lets me use the lights with the fridge on propane while I’m camping?
ANSWER : You haven’t told us what trailer you have, what DC-AC converter you have, it the wire is original or aftermarket and what gage it is.

Because of that you must first identify the wires. You will need a multimeter for that. Start by finding if your trailer has a negative wire or is using the chassis as the ground. For that disconnect the battery from the truck (make sure you have the radio code handy) then measure the resistance between the 3 wires and the body of the truck – you will find the ground wire when the resistance will be close to 0. Reconnect the battery and measure the voltage between the ground wire and the other 2 – the one with 12v on it is the power one and the other goes to the power input of the converter. Check that by removing the converter and looking where they are plugged – if you have any doubts that they are not the wires from the cupboard just check their continuity. All of this is a 5 minute job. Once you know the wires just connect the ground on to the minus and the power and the converter ones to the plus.

Mar 12, 2010 – Could it be the check valve? I took it off and the flap appears to be working correctly. This well has been here a long time. Never given me any problems. I do have galvenized couplers on the discharge and intake sides. Old. Could these be leaking even though they show no sign of water? The discharge is able to hold 30 pounds easily overnight. I do not hear any vacuum in the intake when I take it off. Could the pipe to the well have a leak? I know I would have to insert a sleeve bnut I do not want to go through the hassle if I do not have to. I had put on a brand new pump from the hardware store that did the same thing so I think that would elliminate the pump as being the problem.
Mar 12, 2010 – I have a 3/4hp flotec convertible jet pump. It is able to hold 30lbs pressure on the discharge side as the primie easily for 24 hours. It is not able to pull water from the well whcih has been here for years. i disconnected it for the winter and rehooked it up. The galvanized couplers on the discharge and pump side are old but do not appear to be leakeing as I taped them well. The check valve seems to be functioning well as I took it off and the flap works correctly. The well is not pulling watrer. there does not appear to be a vacuum on the check vale when I losen it. could the check valve be bad? I am aware I might have to resleeve the well, but do not want to hassle with this if I do not have to. I want to eliminate everything else first. i put another brand new pump on it to see if it was that. That partiuclar pump which was the same thng did not work either.

ANSWER : Your well has gone dry it seems. It has happened to my before. At first the new pump I purchased that did not pump I took back for exchange and still no water. I finally gave in and called the well experts and I was told the well was dried up
