Club Car suggests that golf cart chargers should be left plugged in during prolonged storage. E-Z-GO, on the other hand, suggests that golf cart chargers should remain unplugged during prolonged storage. Yamaha recommends completely unplugging the golf cart batteries until they run out of charge.
Lead-acid golf cart batteries last about two to five years with regular use, while lithium-ion golf cart batteries may last ten to 20 years with proper maintenance.

On 2006 EZGO electric golf cart, 36 volt. Cart intermittently goes very very slow. Sometimes, after backing up then will go normal 19 MPH. Turn it off and the goes slow again. facts – batteries tested and show 6 volts each and full set tests at 36v. Cart never had this problem until ran out of power and was towed about 1000 yards. I was told by by the person towing the cart that he put the control switch from Run to Tow. Any ideas what the problem could be?
ANSWER : He may not have known to put it in tow mode and doesn’t want to get blamed for damage to transmission towing it in wrong gear.

Golf cart smoking
ANSWER : It is most likely related to the rings, but running it would unstick them very fast if they were stuck. It’s possible that sitting let rust develop in the cylinder walls and there may be some grooves in them now. They could also just be really worn cylinders. They make some oil conditioners which I wouldn’t recommend on a car, but might work fine on a golf cart. I can’t recall the name, but it was in a silver can, maybe called engine restore… You could always try that before resorting to a rebuild.

Will not start up I have no compression but i have fire and fule. It is a Yamaha 2 stroke engine in a yamaha golf cart . Just wondering if it has a compression release on it that i’m not seeing. Garry
ANSWER : I find with two stroke engines the carb gets all gummed up if you store it for the winter. A good carb cleaning usually does the trick

My Treadmill stop working (shutdown)after requesting speed.
Info: Tread mill from Sportsraft model TX 390 purchase in 2005.
observations:
I got error code 3. in sportcarft website this problem related to speed sensor, or breaker, fuse..
Sportcraft do not offer any part on this discontinue model.
So, I am looking for part replacement for my treadmill or if you can suggest any tip to solve my problem above mentionned.

ANSWER : You will need to replace the speed sensor, look for a round plastic piece at the left hand side of the front roller that has cracked, this is what has broken your speed sensor. Click on the link below and contact this company who can provide you with a replacement.
