How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

A durable and roomy 3 season tent, the Klondike has plenty of space for gear and the whole crew. Additional coverage from the weather is provided by a front canopy entrance, necessary for when your struggling to take off your hiking boots in the rain.
The Wenzel Klondike measures 16-feet by 11-feet. The Klondike sleeps eight, five in its 98 square feet of interior space, with room for sleeping three more in the 60 square foot screen room with its zip up walls. 6.5 feet of head room lets you stand up straight while inside the tent.
Tent poles are a critical component of your setup. Poles provide a tent with its basic structure and come in a variety of materials from aluminum and fiber glass, to steel and air-filled beams. While there really is no one “best pole,” there is a pole best-suited to your particular style of camping.
Pole Tents use ratchet straps that extend to stakes or concrete anchors that are 5-8 feet out from each side pole. Pole Tents must be staked into grass/asphalt or anchored into concrete. Water barrels are not an option on this tent. Lights and fans can be mounted to the center-poles and/or the perimeter-poles.
Spread Out and Stake Your Tent

Drive stakes straight into the ground, hook facing out, and pound it completely down. If the stakes don`t push into the soil easily, use a rubber mallet, the sole of your boot, the flat side of a log or the dull edge of a camping hatchet.

One important decision is whether you want a frame tent or a pole tent. Frame tents are more expensive, but they`re also more durable and offer more stability in windy conditions. Pole tents are less expensive and easier to set up, but they`re not as sturdy and can be more difficult to keep in place in windy weather.
The skeleton of the tent – the poles or air tubes. Basically, there are two main types of tent pole: Bendy ones and rigid ones. Bendy ones are more flexible and usually lighter, rigid ones are generally more robust and heavy-duty.
In fact, most people who try it PREFER floorless tents in wet ground to a floored tent. With a floorless tent you can simply walk in with muddy boots and not worry about tracking mud or water inside. With a conventional floored tent once muck and water get inside it is trapped and very difficult to remove.
Geodesic or Semi-Geodesic Tents

The overlapping tent construction creates a very stable structure. They are almost always freestanding. Geodesic tents are also usually a round shape as this allows rain, wind, and snow to go over the tent.

So what is the most efficient shape for a tent? It`s a dome tent because a floorless dome is just half of a sphere. A dome has half the volume of a sphere and also half the surface area (if we are not including the base since the floor could occupy any portion of that dome).
Placing a tarp under your tent extends the lifetime of your tent by protecting it from wear and tear caused by rugged terrain. Sharp rocks, sticks, or tree roots can tear or puncture the bottom of your tent. A tarp also insulates your tent, minimizes moisture, and makes it easier to clean your tent.
Even though dome tents look difficult to set up alone, they are actually one of the easiest tents to assemble by yourself! If you have a newer dome tent, it is simpler than ever to put one together. However, a lost instruction manual can mean the difference between an easy task and a much more difficult one.
Yes, you`re sleeping on the ground, but modern gear has worked to make tent camping more comfortable so that you hardly notice that you`re not actually in a cozy bed for the night.
There is no practical advantage to it. Tent makers roll their tents simply because it`s easier to build that process into an assembly line than stuffing them. And, it looks better when the consumer takes the tent out of the box.
The basic ridge tent

This is the classic tent shape that a child might draw. It has a pole at each end and sometimes a cross pole – the ridge – holding up a tent-shaped roof, hence the name. Ridge tents are remarkably stable and range from tiny one-person tents right up to large marquees.

Polyester Oxford Fabric for Tents

Although this material is made from polyester, it`s much more durable and water-resistant. In most cases, Oxford fabric is completely waterproof, making it ideal for camping tents.

How do you secure a tent at night? Tying a shoestring between your tent zippers from the inside is an easy way to secure your tent at night, while still making it easy to escape in an emergency.
Put a Tarp Over Your Entire Tent!

These things are very strong and waterproof and will add a huge amount of protection to your tent. Depending on the strength of the poles in your tent, you may need to add extra steel tent poles to the tarp arrangement so as not to place too much pressure on the poles.

In addition to using tent stakes, try attaching sandbags or weights to the legs of your canopy. Canopy sandbags can be filled with a material like sand or pebbles and provide additional weight to help your canopy resist the wind.
Tent waterproofing can be seen as a preventative measure, not just a solution to a problem. Because it`s so easy and affordable to spray on a waterproof treatment, you may feel that you should do it each year at the start of a new camping season. That`s fine to do, but it`s not usually necessary.
Putting it away wet is a no go, it will get mould or mildew, the material can rot, and at the very least it will make your tent smell bad. Some of the modern tents these days are enormous too, so drying them out is no mean feat.
Touching the interior of the tent

This is because when one touches the inner walls, the water droplets that gather lose their surface tension which causes them to seep through the tent fabric. Whether intentional or not, this can easily cause a leakage.

Square tent with 2 types gazebo poles, varenda, 2 side windows
ANSWER : The 2 longest of the poles go in an x over the center of the tent and the 2 shorter ones go arch to the sides. http://www.wenzelco.com/details.aspx?NavID=412shows a picture very similar to your tent. If you go to image 2 it shows it with out the fly. now if you got 2 sets of 4 poles, 2 long and 2 short, and one set is all aluminum, then I would go with the aluminum set. It is less likely to collapse in high winds.

I have a multifunction sports watch that i bought from Big W, (no brand name)

By accident i set the watch to 24 hour time, originally it was set to 12 hour time, how do i set it back? ive tried every button combo including the button combo i used when i accidently set it on 24 hour time, the instructions only say how to set the time and date, it doesnt say how to toggle between 12 hour and 24 hour time, is there a generic way to toggle it on sparts watches? btw, holding the mode button in does nothing on my watch, no matter how long i hold it in for

ANSWER : Hi. How may buttons do you have, 3 or 4 buttons?if you have the 4 buttons, try this:You need to go through the time and date settings again. The 24 and 12hr format select is at the end of time/date adjustment. To set the time and date:-press the top-left button then right-top button to set the seconds, press bottom-left button to set hour then press top-right button to adjust hour, press bottom-left button to set the minute then press top-right button to adjust minute. To set date, press the bottom-left button then press top-right button to adjust month, press bottom-left button then top-right button to adjust day and finally press bottom-left button to set the time format then press top-right button to select 12hour format. Press top-left button when done.Since you have a generic sports watch, it is hard to write specific instructions to set the time format. If your watch has different ways of setting the time, just remember that the 12/24hour format is usually at the end of time and date adjustment.Let me know if you have questions. Good luck.

Hot tub won’t stay at set temperature
ANSWER : I have a 2002 Infinity 6 man spa that I just got from a friend. I am also an Electrician. I had to replace the Spa pack because it wasn’t working. Once I replaced the Spa Pack and used the tub it got up to temp no problem but once I got in the temperature slowly dropped and it couldn’t keep up. After some research and discussion with a pool tech I found out that there is a jumper on some spa packs. It is a LC (low current) / HC (high current) jumper. It limits the current (amperage) that your tub draws. If you are running it on the LC setting it keeps the tub at low current by not running the heater when the jets are on. (this way it keeps the current low by running one only at a time) If you set it for HC it will allow high current to be drawn and let the heater and the jets be on at the same time. On my spa pack it is P26 Jumper. I have found it is also listed as Jumper 4 on some spa packs. the jumpers are located in the lower right of the circuit board. Make sure you shut off the power to the tub and know what you’re doing before you attempt changes. you can also google “Gecko Spa Pack Service Manual” and you will find the manual for your tubs spa pack. Good luck.
