Oil Change Kit With Maxima Synthetic Blend 10W-40 for Kawasaki KX450F 2006-2015.

A stock YFZ 450 ATV has a top speed of approximately 75MPH (see top speeds list).

In general, you`re supposed to perform an ATV oil change about every 100 hours of use, or at least once per year. But be sure to check your owner`s manual to find out what it says about your specific ATV.
Curious about how often to change ATV oil? After 25 hours (or one month) of use, is when your first oil change should occur. From there, the ATV oil change interval is as follows: 100 hours, six months, or 1,000 miles.
Your car`s oil drain plug has a very important, if often underrated job. The plug, which sits at the bottom or side of the oil pan, is charged with keeping your motor`s vital life blood — its lubricant — from pouring out due to the constant effects of both gravity and the pressure that`s generated inside the crankcase.
A total change, which includes flushing the cases, will require 1.27 quarts of oil.
The Kawasaki KX450F has received praise over the years for its awesome power. The 2008 model had an aggressive power hit but when the bike received fuel injection in 2009, along with a slimmer frame and a few other engine modifications, the bike became smoother and easier to ride.
In stock condition the top speed of Honda`s TRX 450R model is 74 MPH. A lot of things play a role in determining top speed including rider weight, ATV condition, altitude, carb adjustment, wind speed and direction, ground surface and more.
Fill the engine with 1.3 quarts of 10W-40 oil.
For 2008, the YFZ 450 still had the best power-to-weight ratio of any ATV produced up to that time, was still a hot seller and was still winning races, so there was no need for many changes. The main addition was an even more improved suspension package.
In an all-out drag race, the biggerbore Raptor 700 is faster. The quicker revving YFZ-R will get out of the hole quicker, but the massive torque and taller gearing of the 700 will slowly walk away from the race-ready 450.
Description. 2 Quarts of Honda GN4 10W-30 4-Stroke Motorcylce Oil.
The oil filter is part number 2520799. The filter is included in both oil change kits. 18. Add 2 quarts (1.9 liters) of the recommended oil.
Your Suzuki KingQuad`s engine oil capacity of 2.6 quarts—this is the amount required to lubricate and cool the engine, keeping all of its parts running smoothly.

We have a pop-up with the sink that folds down. We need to replace the sink drain from the sink to outside, but the only flex drain hoses that I can find have a hose only 26 inches long. I know that will not be long enough to go from the sink to the outside of the camper.

Do you know if any place I can go to get a sink drain system with a longer hose. The contraption (I don’t know what it is called) at the base of the sink drain has rusted off so that the swivel part of the drain system is gone. We currently have a garden hose connected to the pipe coming directly from the drain, but when we close the camper, it pops off.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

Michele

ANSWER : Hi mj2181,I would say your problem should be solved easily with a hose extension , if you can get the extension and then use it , it should be ok for you and there should be no need to get a sink drain system with a longer hose.An example of an extension hose can be found on this link :- http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-number/7174401GS/0071/580?sid=SPDx20101101xNXTGHope this helps ,

Does the John Deere series 100 lawn tractor have some sort of safety feature that shuts the engine off if it gets dangerously low on oil? I was cutting grass this morning and the engine sputtered and quit. I got off the tractor and noticed that the oil drain line plug was open and dripping oil. Have I ruined my engine or can I refill it with oil and continue on?
ANSWER : Not sure on this specific mower, but oil is usually there to lubricate and keep the temp down. When theres none in it, it gets hot and melts the pistons. Sounds bad to me

I am trying to change the transmission oil on a 4WD stiga XK4 160 HD for the first time.
Draining went well. I have filled the reservoir but the oil is not going into the transmission. The rear clutch release lever is pulled out. the front clutch release lever can be pulled out by hand but doesn’t want to stay out. With the engine running the oil in the reservoir remains perfectly still, no bubbles.
What am I omitting to do? cheers allan
ANSWER : Checking transmission oil level

Check the oil level every time before using to ensure it is correct. The machine should be
standing on level ground.
Read off the oil level in the reservoir (9:R). It should be between the MAX and MIN marks. If necessary, top up with more oil.Type of oil:4WD – Synthetic oil 5W-50HST – SAE 10W-30 (20W-50)Draining the transmission oil1. Run the machine at variable speeds for 10-20 minutes to heat up the transmission oil.2. Position the machine completely horizontally.3. Pull out both disengagement levers.4. Place one container under the rear axle and one under the front axle.5. Open the oil reservoir by removing the cover. Only a 3/8″ square drive may be used for the oil plug. Other tools will damage the plug.6. Remove the oil plug from the rear axle. Clean the hole and use a 3/8″ square drive.7. Remove 2 drain plugs from the front axle. Use a 12 mm socket. Allow the oil in the front axle and pipes to run out.8. Check that the gaskets on the drain plugs of the front axle are intact. Reinstall the plugs. Tightening torque: 15-17 Nm. The oil plug will be damaged if it is tightened more to than 5 Nm.9. Check that the gasket on the oil plug of the rear axle is intact. Reinstall in the rearaxle. Tighten the oil plug to 5 Nm.10.Draw out the oil from the deeper section of the reservoir using an oil extractor.11.Dispose of the oil according to local regulations.Filling the transmission with oilThe engine must never be run when the rear clutch release lever is pushed in and the front clutch release lever is pulled out. This will damage the front axle seals.1.Fill the oil reservoir with the new oil. If the engine is run indoors, exhaust extraction equipment must be connected to the engine’s exhaust pipe.2. Check that the rear axle’s clutch release lever is pulled out.3. Start the engine. When the engine is started, the front axle’s clutch release lever slides inwardsautomatically.4. Pull out the front axle’s clutch release lever. NOTE! The oil is drawn into the system very quickly. The reservoir must always be topped up. Air must never be drawn in.5. Set the accelerator pedal to the forward position by blocking it using a wooden wedge. Fill the oil reservoir by hand using new oil.6. Run in the forward position for one minute.7. Move the wooden wedge and set the accelerator pedal to the reverse position. Continue fillingwith oil.8. Run in reverse mode for one minute.9. Change driving direction once every minute as above and continue filling with oil until the bubbling in the reservoir stops.10.Switch off the engine, install the oil reservoir cover and close the engine cover.11.Test drive for several minutes and adjust the oil level in the reservoir.
